Hi Phil and Carole, I do want you to know we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely condo! We appreciated how nicely decorated it was, as well as, how completely supplied it was. (including: all the dishes we needed, towels, beach toys and chairs and 'easy to use' electronics) The beds were very comfortable and the whole unit organized and clean. Our company who came to stay for a few days throughout our month thought it was wonderful, too! We enjoyed several of the restaurants you recommended, loved walking the beach in both directions, visiting the seal rookery, riding bikes, and walking to town. My sister and her husband rode the train from San Diego and loved their ride, views and walking to your place from the train station! We played golf at The Sandpiper golf course twice, finding a good deal on Golf Now .com! There are some beautiful coastal views on that course! And we spent a day exploring the wine country. Los Olivos was really a sweet town to stop and have lunch. Our grand kids loved the beach, digging in the sand for hours and looking for 'treasures' along the water. (I'm sorry but we did add to your shell collections at the condo!). And we met a sweet Carpinteria family that likes to play in the sand by your condo as they wait for their dad to get home from work most days...the kids were close to our grand kids ages and they all had fun playing in the sand together. So, thank you for the lovely memories of Carpinteria and special times with our family while we were in your home. I recently stayed at this property and absolutely loved it! We went to the Avocado Festival, walked to town to the shops and spent many days & hours on the beach. I think it's the most relaxed we've ever been while on vacation. The condo is great and the kids had a blast. It has gorgeous views of the ocean and every morning we'd walk along the beach and watch the sea lions and dolphins swim up the coast. We definitely plan on coming back next year!
