This three level cabin features 26 foot floor to ceiling windows, luxurious master suite, hardwood floors, two fireplaces, two large decks overlooking the lake, gourmet kitchen, open floor plan, hot tub, pool table, gentle slope to water, and deep-water dock in a quiet cove.
This is the perfect spot to enjoy the lake and spend time with family and friends. The spacious cabin (sleeps 16) also makes a great location for corporate retreats and group outings. Bring your boat (or rent one nearby) and water toys during the spring and summer months. Relax and enjoy the changing leaves, autumn festivals, and holiday gatherings in the fall and winter.
The cabin is located 50 minutes north of downtown Atlanta off of GA 400. It is situated on Thompson Creek in the northwest corner of the lake away from all the rough water and crowds. There is convenient access to public boat ramps and a marina with fuel. The cabin is just 10 minutes from the historic town of Dahlonega with its quaint restaurants and shops. Also enjoy nearby golf, Amicalola Falls, pumpkin farms, North Georgia Premium Outlets, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and the best hiking and biking that North Georgia has to offer.

I had my 35th birthday celebration there and it was great!! 14 guest were present and with the 3 levels we did not feel like we were on top of one another. Now all of my guest want to rent the cabin for their birthdays. The owners are great to work with. I am a stickler for good customer service and this owner impressed me so much, he was pleasant, easy to work with, and provided quick responses to all of my questions. I would definitely do business with him again. This cabin is worth every dime. It is secluded private parking and the neighbors don't bother you. It is definitely a win-win!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Six Mom's and six college freshman daughters met for a relaxing weekend of catching up. It was a wonderful time in an awesome home. These girls are in 2 north Georgia colleges. This was the perfect location for all involved. Nearby stores and restaurants made this a great spot. The bunkbed room was ideal for these students to bond with each other. We ALL fit on the couch downstairs to watch a movie. The girls spent a lot of time in the hot tub. This spacious home was enjoyed by everyone. The only complaint we had was that our schedules wouldn't allow us to stay longer!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was better than we expected, the house was very nice, clean and well-maintained. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. The dock was beautiful and it was on a quiet part of the lake. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely recommend this place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

We took four couples to this lake home to celebrate someone's 50th and had the most wonderful time. We brought two boats (by water) and found it to be very easy to get to from all parts of the lake. The dock was great as well. Our group travels together often and we found this home to be the best appointed as far as the kitchen, linens etc. Very clean, very affordable, very smooth rental process. Definitely somewhere to visit again and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place on Lanier.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Our family of 13 just returned from our trip to this property, and I have nothing but great things to say about the entire experience. The cabin itself was beautiful and we had plenty of room for the whole crew without feeling like we were on top of each other with sleeping room to spare. The cabin is tucked away so that you feel secluded from the hustle and bustle, but you are only 5/10 minutes from shopping and dining. The trip to Helen,Ga was only 40 minutes for a lazy river tubing experience. It's not easy to please a group of 13 but we all agreed that the cabin was awesome and all of are looking forward to our next trip up there. I could probably write a book on all the great things such as the view, the lake, the dock and how beautiful the cabin is. If you are considering a cabin vacation I rate this trip 6 Stars!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We rented this gorgeous property with family and friends to celebrate our daughters Sweet 16 Birthday . The entire stay could not have been more perfect. The views are spectacular, the home is large but at the same time cozy, the hot tub and billiard table were added bonuses! And the owners of the property could not have been more delightful and accomodating to work with !! We will defintiely look forward to a return visit this summer !Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

About the owner: "Forty something" married, professional couple in the Atlanta area. 2 young kids and a large extended family. We both grew up on lakes and rivers. Love the outdoors, nature, family, adventure, and watersports.
Why the Owner Chose Dawsonville:
My wife and I both grew up on lakes and rivers, and we want to share that experience with our kids and extended family. We love Lake Lanier -- what a beautiful lake!! In particular, we really love the northwest part of the lake since it is farther away from the crowds and rough water. Also, it's closer to the foothills of the North Georgia mountains and all of the wonderful things that area has to offer.
For several years, we tried to find a nice, big rental house on Lake Lanier for gatherings with extended family. Unfortunately, we were always disappointed with what was available for rent. Often, the houses were old and rundown with few amenities, and the owners were not very accommodating or customer-service oriented.
So realizing that there must be other families out there like ours, we decided to build a house from the ground up specifically catering to the high-end market for larger groups. Our house is one of the largest rental houses available on the lake, and we're sure that you'll agree that our amenities and location can't be beat!!
