We headed up to the vineyard for my boyfriends surprise birthday and a well needed break for a group of work aholics. This was the perfect retreat! On Friday we arrived to watch the sun set and have a BBQ as well as turning on the pool lights and putting some music on. As we are all in are early 30's and love hanging out together this was a great way to start the weekend. Also no one to complain about the noise and the hot tub put even the insomniac to bed - perfect! I would really like not to recommend this property so that it would always be available for us in the future as I am keen to go back again and as soon as possible. Please be warned two nights was not enough do make it three so that you get two days by the pool. Do also Cindy was great and available all the time for our questions. Thanks so much - we will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

All I can say is stop looking. Seriously this place is heaven. My husband and I recently went to Paso and once we discovered this home we knew it was it forever. We have made this an annual commitment. Everything about this place is comfortable. It is the perfect place to go with family and friends. Cindy is a master at customer service. She will do everything she can to make your trip the best it can be. Honestly it is worth every penny.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful week for the four of us adults at the Carina Cellars estate house. The house is very comfortable with amazing views. Cindy was very helpful with anything we needed. Thank you!! We would could have had a little more pool heat as we were out wine tasting during the day and enjoying the pool and outside during the evenings. Overall fantastic and we look forward to our next stay at this house on our next Paso Robles visit!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I just spent the week of my wedding in Paso Robles at this property and it is MORE beautiful than advertised. It's on top of a hill overlooking the vinyard and is only a short 5 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles. The house is incredible. The infinity pool is huge- much bigger than it looks in the picture. The kitchen is large. The house super clean... extremely well stocked... there is simply not a bad thing to say about it. Myself, my wife and her family (9 total) comfortably slept here. If you use the foldout bed you can sleep 10 without anyone fighting for a bed. The master bedroom is great. We had the brunch following our wedding on the property and everyone who came was blown away with the house. Cindy (who runs the vineyard and is everything you'd want from a property manager) held a private tasting for us next to the pool. I've used VRBO a dozen times and this is as good as it gets. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful home and I highly recommend it, except when I want to rent it. :) It was very clean. We wished the house had another bathroom, but otherwise the house was very accomadating. The steps to the pool area were a challange, a work in progress we guessed. The kitchen was wonderful for a group to work in and cook together. Very well supplied including plenty of sharp knives, cutting board, pots and pans. We did a lot of cooking. Had a little trouble getting the pool warm enough, but loved using it and the juccuzi. The air conditioning in the house had trouble keeping the house cool when it was hot. The windows in the living room had no cover and the morning sun was very hot and bright and prevented us from sitting in that room in the morning as the sun came right in if you were sitting on the sofa. I believe they said there were screens that go on them, but they had been taken down. We loved the house and hope to return. Being up on the hill by yourselves was so nice for a group of women that can get kinda loud, especially when drinking wine. Sometimes we would just yell out because we could. The sunsets and sunrises were spectular from the house.Recommended for: Girls getaway.

We were a party of 8 from SF and LA that met here. I actually think the pics don't do it justice..there is a large, long outside table which is very cool, the pool and hot tub are fantastic and the views are incredible. The rest of the house works just fine as you spend most of the time outside. The yard is big enough for a bocce ball set up we brought and we did a lot of BBQ'ing. We didn't go into town much but didn't seem that far away and all the wineries are close. Overall, I would highly recommend if you're looking for a place to get away.Did you find this review helpful? I highly recommend renting this home. My husband and I traveled to Paso with another couple who just had to experience it for themselves after hearing us talk about what a wonderful place it is. After looking at several rental homes, we decided this looked perfect for us. On the drive from San Jose, Cindy called to let us know that the house was ready for us. Upon entering the home it was exactly as it was described on VRBO. First things first...open a bottle of wine and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view. We love to cook so made all of our meals during our stay and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Add comfy beds and we had all we needed to make it our home for the extended weekend. Cindy suggested the farmers market in Templeton. After getting some great finds, we made lunch at the house and relaxed by the wonderful pool for most of the day. In addition to shipping the wonderful wine we bought at Carina Cellars, Cindy is also shipping the wine we purchased from our day of wine touring. We truly appreciated the service we received at both Carina Cellars and Rancho del Cielo and will definitely be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: We set up Carina Cellars in Santa Barbara in 2001. Then, in fall of 2006, we purchased our 83 acre ranch in Paso Robles to establish Carina Cellars’ own estate vineyard and winery. We named the ranch, Rancho del Cielo, (Ranch of the Sky) for its steeply sloping vineyards and magnificent views. We planted the vineyard in 2007 and quickly started construction of our new winery and tasting room in 2008. We completed construction in spring of 2009 and have been opened ever since. 2010 marked our first estate harvest. We are excited to release our first estate wines in 2012. Our Carina Cellars Paso Robles location is currently opened to visitors Friday -Sunday from 11am-5pm, and Monday -Thursday by appointment. We turned the home at the top of the property into a vacation rental in 2011 and have been enjoying meeting new people and sharing our love for the Central Coast.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles:
We love our property, Paso Robles wine country, and San Luis Obispo County. The Central Coast is filled with fabulous spots and we would like to take the opportunity of sharing our love with the Central Coast with our family, friends and new friends.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Free wine tasting and 20% off wine purchase during your stay.
Privacy, views, and location. Located on Adelaida wine trail, close to lakes, downtown, and coast.
