I bought this home as a vacation property when my children were very young. For decades it has been a welcomed retreat, a home and now we are offering it to others for their enjoyment.
Why the Owner Chose San Miguel II
The beach here is one of the widest sand beaches in all of San DIego County. The location is perfect for trips to Orange County or Downtown San Diego. The town is very safe and provides many options for dining and entertainment.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
There's always something going on at the beach...surfing camps or competitions, sailboat races, Ironman competition, Fourth of July celebrations, concerts at the Pier. It's a great people watch or can be a quiet haven.

Our stay at this condo really lived up to our expectations. The ocean view is unobstructed and each evening we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. A couple coffee shops, a cinema, restaurants, a Farmer's Market on Thursdays, a french bakery, cleaners, and a mini market are all within walking distance. You'll see surfing contests and dolphins, and a two minute walk will can have you on the beach relaxing with a book. The beds are comfy and the fully equipped gourmet kitchen has everything you'll need to cook a fabulous meal. You wouldn't need to go anywhere to enjoy So Cal staying in this condo, but if you wanted to take some side trips, Laguna Beach and the Temecula wineries are two of the many places that are close for a short excursion. This was a fantastic place to enjoy sunsets over the Pacific and incredibly fresh rejuvenating breezes which flow through the condo. The entire condo seemed to have been updated recently with special attention being given to the kitchen. This was a great feature for my wife and me since we enjoy cooking new dinners together. We don’t always have time to indulge our creative desires due to our busy schedules so we enjoyed trying new culinary treats while on vacation. There are great restaurants in the area so we were able to take it easy after a grueling day of lying on the beach catching up with our reading. We also enjoyed sea kayaking, biking and jogging. Parking was totally hassle free with the garage being so incredibly convenient, right beneath the condo. We had a delightful time and hope to be able to return.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

I stayed at this lovely condo through the Labor Day holiday and had such a wonderful and relaxing time here. The beach is your backyard and you can work from the kitchen/dining area with the ocean, seagulls and beachgoers right behind you out the back picture window, which incidentally gives you access to the patio with BBQ! A lovely jaunt along the beach gave us quick access to many fine restaurants and shopping area. The private garage was just so convenient for the car and the area is completely safe with very nice neighbors and families. The fabulous sunset from the back of the condo is a "to die for" experience. GREAT DEAL! Herb Robertson
