  Absolutely magnificent accomodations for 8 guys celebrating a little time away! Cleanliness, service, view, simple access to town center and awesome concierge service make Villa Paraiso an absolute must. No doubt that i will be back and this time with family and friends as the house will comfortably fit upwards of 15 guests! House layout affords the ability to enjoy moments with entire group (16 seat dining table), or you can easily find spots to be alone and catch up on some reading. Highly recommend!

  Villa Parasio is truly paradise and made for a great family reunion for all 17 of us, ranging in age 13 to 80. We all agreed we could have stayed at the house all day everyday without leaving, the stunning view never gets old. The house is in perfect condition, everything is new and the bathrooms are large in each bedrooms. The dining table could seat all of us and made for great times overlooking the beautiful ocean and town. The kids loved the pool. The hill to get up to the house became the daily exercise challenge for the group. Or take the rental car down the hill right to the beach for perfect surfing, boogie boarding and body surfing. We brought in a cook for lunch and dinner to stay with us for the week. We HIGHLY recommend our cook Nohemy Garcia. Beyond fabulous, delightful, amazing cook who can make anything and is so fun to have around. Bob and Veronica who manage the house can arrange for Nohemy. We never ate out, too good to leave. The town is hopping with a lot of night life to be had, especially for the young. Enjoy!

• Paradise!

  Fantastic Villa Paraiso!! 14 family members, ranging from 16 - 89 in age, had a superb experience at this piece of paradise. Accommodations were first rate, and there was plenty of room for all of us, even a few private spots for reading or just relaxing. Estelle prepared a breakfast feast each morning, and worked hard to keep the villa and the bedrooms fresh and clean. Likewise, Alex and Manuel cheerfully and diligently performed their respective duties. And kudos to Bob, responsible for management and renting of the villa - he was available to answer questions and make recommendations; he even stocked the frig and pantry per our request prior to arrival, and arranged for us to have a Christmas tree! We hired a chef for some of the days, and he had actually cooked at VP before - the kitchen, outdoor grill and special dining area suited a large group perfectly. We fished several days, sat on the beach and swam in the ocean, walked thru town and shopped. But a large amount of time, night and day, was spent in the pool with the awesome view - each night we watched the sun disappear over the "edge" of the Pacific while having a glass of wine. Ate out a couple of nights, and would highly recommend El Coconut (be sure to meet the owner, Katherina). Grocery shopping is very convenient, and there are countless stores handy for gifts to take home. All in all, I give Villa Paraiso highest marks. And the photos are very accurate.

  I recently stayed at Villa Paraiso with nine girlfriends to celebrate my 40th birthday. Villa Paraiso is, without a doubt, one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! The website pictures do not do it justice -- the villa and the ocean views are even more spectacular in person. We especially loved the home-cooked breakfast by Esther and spending time by the pool. We also enjoyed everything that Tamarindo has to offer - yoga, zip lining, ATVs, surfing, horseback riding, massages, private chef, and more. Brian and Bob (owner / property manager) were extremely helpful in booking our activities, airport transportation, and restaurant reservations, and incredibly responsive to our requests. Overall - a perfect vacation that exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

  We recently stayed at Villa Paraiso for a family reunion. There were 17 of us and the house was perfect. The rooms were great and there was one incredible penthouse with a view not to be missed. Be sure to check out the carved doors! The house is nestled atop a hill above Tamarindo, with an expansive view overlooking Tamarindo, the estuary, and the beaches and the view of the sunsets was beyond amazing. The kitchen is large (and there is an outdoor grill) and we made some wonderful dinners here. The dining room was outdoors, seated all of us and was completely covered by a tall roof. Dining was really luxurious as cool breezes flow up the hill and are an immense relief after the heat of town or the beach. Large doors open up to the outside creating truly indoor/outdoor living, and there is plenty of comfortable seating everywhere. We woke up to howler monkeys in the distance, flocks of parrots, freshly brewed coffee and wonderful breakfasts made by Esther. She is a jewel. This is a fabulous place to vacation! While there we did have an issue with one of the a/c units, but a quick call to management and someone was there to fix it. Just a note, the road to town is steep. The walk down is not too bad, but take a taxi up, it is steep and rutted.

  This was our first time visiting Costa RIca. Our group consisted of 11 people with very different likes and dislikes. The one thing that everyone agreed on is that this house is AMAZING.. Tamarindo has so much to offer but we never wanted to leave the house. This home comes with a staff that will cook breakfast ((which was delicious)) every morning, a security guard at night (( we felt very safe and I think we would feel just as safe if he wasn't there)) and you must use Carlos as the driver. Carlos spoke English very well and took very good care of us while we were there. Our group went zip lining, deep sea fishing, paddle boarding, surfing, and on a evening booze cruise. When we planned this trip we had no idea what Tamarindo had to offer but Bob (owner) recommended only the best excursions and restaurants around. When you stay at this home everyone knows the " huge house on the hill ". The view from every angle of this home is amazing!!! The sunsets are straight out of a magazine. The weather was pretty warm while we were on the beach but when we got back to the house the breeze was just right. We arrived during the rainy season and it rained for 3 hours during our week long vacation.... We will be back next year and I think this will be our go to vacation for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and book this home and ask Bob to set everything up for you. We used a chef on the first night and it was the best way to begin the vacation of our dreams.

  This is a luxury rental but with the feeling of ‘home’ and serenity. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we wanted a rental home but with the same attention and service a Hotel would provide. We need a house that could fit 15 people for both a vacation and a wedding. There are no other Villas in the Tamarindo area that have 8 bedrooms each equipped with a full bathroom / AC/ TV and also a guest bathroom. The photos on the web site are true to the property and it surpasses all your expectations. Our family loved being at the Villa, soaking up the sun, swimming in the pool, grilling out, cooking in the kitchen, and daydreaming. We truly did not want to leave and hope to stay there again next year. The Views: Stunning. The best views in Tamarindo. You have a FULL view of the estuary, Ocean, beaches, & bays. It is truly unbelievable. We would wake up early every AM with our coffee to take in the views and retire every night with a glass of wine overlooking the water. The Property: Everything about the property and Villa is beautiful and designed well. The décor is modern but classy, clean and new. The Villa has an open-air design allowing for the doors all to be open and allowing the breeze pass through the house. You guests will have a unique stay based on their room and although this house can fit 16 people, the property is large enough allowing you privacy. Some rooms have a balcony, others are located inside the main house and whoever is lucky to stay in the Penthouse, your guests will be jealous! Villa Paraiso has many common areas for your guests to enjoy from the 16 person dining table, to the large living room, even a smaller covered outdoor sitting area facing the lush hillside. The Staff: Carolina and Frank are soo lovely. Carolina cooked us a steller breakfast every morning. Frank was available to help with any other needs and questions. He even would call a Taxi if we needed one. Mgmt: The property Mgmt. (Bob) was on top of everything. He helped us arrange airport shuttles, book adventures for us,recommend restaurants, take us grocery shopping, and provided high quality services during our reception held at the villa. Kids: We had (2) kids stay at the Villa ages under 4yrs. Kid-friendly Tips: Rent a car you will be happy you did. The road to VP is rather bumpy and is a dirt road with rocks for ¾ of the way up. Cons: If this Villa was beach-front and had a grassy area for the Kids to play it would be a crazy- perfect-drea

  We stayed at the house in February 2012. We have stayed at several luxury houses throughout the world and this was #1. It had everything - best panoramic view in Tamarindo, beautiful well-maintained landscaping, quality clean furnishings and appliances and incredible service. We had a nice breakfast served every morning and great concierge service to help us plan events or give us recommendations for best restaurants and places to see. This house is everything advertised and more.

  We stayed for a week in November of 2011. It was the most amazing house I've ever stayed at . From the second you walk in the front gate you know you're in paradise. Each room in the outside wing opens directly onto an amazing garden with modern fountains running all over the place. The main house is equally beautiful with great attention to detail. The flow of the rooms is perfect. The high ceilings of wood are gorgeous. The views unbeatable. Another nice detail is the large outside seating area where your entire group of up to at least 13 people can eat together and enjoy one another's company. The upstairs master suite has what are undoubtedly the most amazing views in Tamarindo (if not the entire peninsula). You have about 270 degree views of the estuary, playa grande, tamarindo, langosta, etc. It's pretty unbelieveable. Like a glass fish bowl...so cool! And all the help with scheduling tours, making breakfast for use, etc was amazing. We went with friends for my 40th birthday and multiple people said it was the vacation of a lifetime. This house couldn't be any better and is worth EVERY CENT.

  As a long time real estate broker and Tamarindo resident, I've got a good perspective of what is out there in the rental market here. Knowing what I do and also being the manager of over 160 properteis in the area, I can say that this home is most definately one of, if not the most impressive of them all. From the full time staff, to the flower arrangements all over the state rooms and bathrooms, the showerheads, the beds, the incredible view, the master suite, infinity pool, top notch furniture, there was nothing left out in this house. The view couldnt be better and they built a house to match it. I couldnt have been more pleased with the time we spent up there. Bravo! -Lock Cooper
