  Overall we had a great stay here. At first I was concerned about the proximity to Hana hwy (which can be busy especially in the morning), but the beautiful lanai/private backyard faces northwest away from the road so we didn't really notice traffic noise after a day. There is no A/C but that wasn't necessary. Fans and open windows keep the place cool. Location is very convenient for doing day trips to other parts of the island.

  I'm always hesitant to give good reviews for places I love because it will mean more competition for it in the future. That's how I feel here. A true gem. LOVED the outdoor shower. Especially with 4 adults it was a life saver.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Great place, with a nice garden and barbecue, 1 minute from Paia. Excellent for kitesurfers and windsurfers. Private and calm. I would definitly recommand it !

  Stayed in two bedroom apartment. This accommodation is clean, well equiped and maintained which is very important. It is in a great location to Hookipa and Paia ..... everything within two to three minutes drive.

  My overall experience is that these are nice places to stay with the comforts and privacy of a real home, owner put some thought into landscaping for the private yards and inside the houses, kitchen had all utensils and pots I needed to cook. All enjoyed the bbq in the backyard. Rented twice from Michael this summer and he is very patient, kind and helpful which is a big deal when you're dealing with the stresses of coordinating a trip. Doug was also the same. Location is perfect, close to everything and the beaches, would recommend his rentals to others and friends, it's more private and better than staying at a hotel, I would most likely be renting from Michael again when I come back.

  Had a pleasant stay at this tidy spot. Very well maintained and appointed. The management team was super pleasant and helpful. All good reviews. One drawback would be easy to "walk to" water access but really wasn't an issue when we were out and about every day anyway. The short distance to the surfing and and kite beach made this a perfect fit for our holiday. Miss it already!

  We loved staying in this very cute and nice 2 br house. The garden, patio and outside shower was great....the layout perfect for a family of 4. Small but efficient kitchen. Everything was clean and nice and new or newer. The only drawback would be road noise form Hana Hwy.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
