Wellspring Retreat on the Little River
The Wellspring Retreat on the Little River will give you a quiet reprieve from the demands and rigors of daily life. The Retreat sleeps 30, sits on 20 acres with 1000 feet of frontage on the Little River, one of the best trout fishing stretches in the Smoky Mountain area. The grounds include two riverfront loft cabins, a beautiful Lodge with 5 BR, 5 ½ baths, and a rustic barn all behind a gate for your privacy.
Most of the 20 acres of the Retreat are cleared, but some portions are wooded. Feel free to explore the Upper, Central, and Riverfront meadows on the property for short hikes. You might want to walk across the pedestrian swinging bridge to dine at one of the local restaurants accessible by foot or ride bikes that you can rent locally or bring with you.
The Lodge sleeps 22 and offers a full kitchen, large living room gathering area, washer and dryer, and a recreation room equipped with a pool table, ping-pong table, and air hockey game. It also offers Wi-Fi internet access, 2 indoor and 1 outdoor fireplaces, grill, deep wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, and a large hot tub.
Each of the loft cabins rest on and overlook the Little River. Enjoy the peace and serenity of the flowing water as it dances and sparkles through the rocks. Each of the two riverfront cabins sleep 4, offer a king bed, a double futon, kitchen, and covered porches. It won't take you long to relax, and let your cares slip away.

Her husband, Steve, is the founder and Senior Partner of Retirement Planning Services in Knoxville, TN, a Registered Investment Advisory firm. They have 2 children with spouses and 3 grandchildren, all living in Knoxville.

Over the years we have been fortunate to own other properties in the Smoky Mountains. However, none remotely compare to this property, it is our favorite.
