Our extended family of 10 (including 4 children) spent a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation at your octagon home. What a special location - on a small private lake for fishing, with an amazing view. Thank you for the use of the canoe, paddle boats, and bicycles. There was so much to do that we never used the indoor pool available at the resort.

My family just spent a week enjoying the idyllic beauty of mountain lakes. We had four families and three small children. The property was perfect, both for ease of sleeping and for enjoying the lake with the children. It was great to have the seclusion of a private home, but also the availability of the resort amenities. Would definitely return again. So much to do in the area as well.

Thank you so much for the use of your vacation home; we had a wonderful time! Your pictures and descriptions were very accurate and there were extras we did not expect. It was very obvious that you have tried (and succeeded) to have everything that one could want or need; right down to the Ingles Advantage card so that your guests could get sale prices on their groceries. We loved having a yard for the kids to play in and watching the deer stroll around was a bonus. The resort is so family oriented that we just loved it and never left except to buy groceries. The quick return of the security deposit was much appreciated. Thanks for a memorable vacation!!

This property is secluded, quiet and the most beautiful place in North Carolina! We enjoyed the fishing the most, the lake had abundant blue gill; crappie and bass. I highly recommend this spot. Just bring your fishing gear and enjoy. Marnie your home is perfect.

We had a fantastic weekend here. Our children and dogs were right at home. My husband and I agree we will be back for another visit soon. The property was wondeful, and private. The home itself was laid out beautifully for a 2 family gathering. It is very nicely decorated and well maintained.

We LOVED your place! It was wonderful to have a place for the kids to play in the back and we had great ‘water wars’ between the pedal boat and the canoe! Thanks so much for dropping off the kid's bike though we didn’t end up using it – we had enough to do just exploring the creek, going out on the water and having hotdogs and marshmallows over the bonfire. Perfect! You’ve got a wonderful place and we hope to make this our annual destination!

What a great get-away lake house! This place is awesome for a peaceful and relaxing stay on a private lake. The house has many unique features, including a large backyard that gradually descends on the lake. Most of the other houses nearby seemed to drop right off a cliff into the lake, but here you can enjoy the creeks, and campfire before venturing out to the dock for a boat ride.

What a great place to stay! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is secluded so we felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The kids also had plenty to keep them busy with the pools, putt-putt, fishing, and the pedal boat and canoe. We also made our way to the Biltmore and Chimney Rock, both short drives. We really had a great time.
