Aloha! Our Hale is your Hale. Please enjoy your stay with us. Our quiet and private condominium has the most spectacular unobstructed views on the island we think. This vacation home is directly on the oceanfront and is Eco-friendly. You can't stay closer to the ocean anywhere else here on the island.
This condominium has been newly remodeled and redecorated as of May 10th 2010 with authentic tropical-style Hawaiian furniture and art. The art throughout the home is all original from local artists. Crown molding and custom color paint are are just a few of the textures you can expect. The electronics are all new and so is the furniture which is very comfortable. a very large 47' Hi-Definition TV has just been added as well. You can hear and see the ocean from all living areas and the lanai. When you are in the bedroom you can hear the ocean as you fall asleep on your 'new King size' pillow top mattress to the gentle rhythm of the waves rolling into shore. Often you can expect the natural cool tropical breezes and fragrance to drift through this unit soothing you even into a deeper sleep.
We also have a private snorkeling area located here at the resort as well as one of the largest pools. We call the ocean bay in front of our unit 'Turtle Bay' because of the abundance of turtles that call it home.
The gardens throughout this nature friendly complex are spacious for walks and the most beautiful and well maintained as well. And if you are looking forward to dining at an exclusive one of a kind setting with the most incredible views and atmosphere, then we suggest dining on your own 'private' romantic lanai. The tiki torches are lit up as the sun goes down and there is no better place to be than in your own private paradise. During whale season this home has the advantages of optimal views of the whales as well as the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
If you enjoy local tropical produce and like to walk, the farmers market is not far away and is across from a beach park in this pedestrian friendly location.
This vacation home will please the most discerning individuals and is of the highest quality, detail, and is offered at the absolute best value to be found. We believe you will not find a luxurious unit like this one that starts for less than $400 a night, and still will not have this view. If you are looking for a quiet location with stunning views this is it. We loved our stay here. The condo had all the amenities and more. It was clean and well furnished. Turles and whales were in abundance. The property manager Pam. was so helpful and made our stay perfect. One minor downside, the WIFI didn't work, but it was only a few steps into the lobby to use the resorts WIFI. Mahalo to Jerry & Jeffrey

Turtles, turtles and more turtles. Just a great quiet location. Great breeze all day that keeps the room a comfortable temp. Only downside is the blinds are falling apart and they are essential to keeping the sun out at sunset. Well stocked kitchen and bath. If you are looking for view and a nice quiet beach this is the place. The ladder on the rocky point turns into turtle snack station at about 2pm. Beautiful grounds, nice walk ways and little hidden extras to explore. We will stay here every time we come to Maui.

This unit is one of the best values I've used on VRBO---The unit was immaculate--well equipped--and everything as stated in the ad. We enjoyed our evening meal most days outside watching the surfers catch the last waves of the day. The complex is well maintained,staffed by friendly people who are not intrusive but willing to help. This complex is one of the better maintained and most attractive in the area. We would gladly recommend this unit to anyone seeking an upscale laid back vacation..The owners were most helpful and quickly answered any questions.....We definitely plan to stay there on any return trips.....

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to stay at your beautiful condo at the Kuleana Resort. We enjoyed every second spent on the lanai watching the huge sea turtles come to feed both morning and late afternoon. Towards the end of our trip we saw 4 of the biggest turtles I've ever seen sunning themselves on the next beach over...what an amazing sight. We also saw a HUGE Ray on the outer reef and several smaller Rays feeding near the shore..you never need to leave the resort to enjoy the incredible marine life of Maui whether you're snorkeling in front of the condo or enjoying a drink on the lanai...truly remarkable. We were also fortunate enough to see over 100 Spinner Dolphins performing for us during the Pacific Whale Foundation's Snorkeling Trip to Lanai. The grounds at Kuleana are impeccably kept and the pool was nearly empty each time we used it. The interior of the condo is pretty well maintained, king bed is very comfortable and my boyfriend loved the new flat screen TV. The condo has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Resort BBQs are scrubbed spotless each morning; its great to be able to pick up something to grill and just hang out...very relaxing. Thank you again, we'll definitely be back! Pat and Lori

We spent our honeymoon here and were extremely pleased. All the details were well thought out, starting even before we got to Maui. The condo is incredible - beautifully decorated and well-appointed. The view is amazing, nothing between the lanai and ocean. It was only steps to the beach where we would see turtles every day. The unit is directly behind the lobby, which makes for convenient access from the parking lot. We arrived right before a long holiday weekend so there was lots of activity the next morning (cleaning, carts rolling by, people moving about) and it got a bit noisy, which we could hear from the bedroom, which is the room closest to the lobby. However, after that flurry of activity we weren't bothered by noise for the rest of our stay.

Aloha! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying in this unit for six nights. I would be up at 05:30 to run along Lower Honoapiilani Road and take in the warm morning, then back to enjoy the spectacular ocean view with my perfect coffee from a short, but very enjoyable walk to Bad Ass Coffee. The unit is fully stocked with snorkeling gear, boogie boards, towels; everything you need to enjoy yourself. The kitchen comes with plenty of utensils, although you'll find yourself at the resort's gas grills more often than not if you're eating in. The bed was extremely comfortable and I wish I had of gotten the model of the mattress before I left. We saw turtles from the sheltered lanai as well as a beautiful rainbow from the light rain. It was a very comfortable, bright unit, and I plan on using it again in the future.

This was our third time to Hawaii but our first to Maui. The condo could not have been a better choice for us, great location and very secure. The grounds are immaculate and the heated pool is fantastic. Thanks to Gerry and Jeff for the use of your fantastic piece of paradise. We have vacationed at the Kuleana Resort for many years. Staying in this unit has been a dream come true, and we look forward to returning each year for many years to come. The view from the lanai if fantastic! Whales, turtles and rainbows galore! The unit has everything needed for a very comfortable, enjoyable vacation in paradise.
