Located between Winter Park and Grand Lake. Down the road from Hot Sulphur Springs and further yonder is Williams Fork Reservoir. Situated literally in the heart of Grand County allowing boundless amenities all within approximately 20 to 45 minutes. 2 minutes from our driveway to Sol Vista Ski Basin or the Headwaters Golf Course.
City Market is just at the bottom of the hill, which includes a Starbucks, and with the newly opened McDonald's and Subway you shall not be far from all the comforts of home.
You can also indulge with a full service salon located at the bottom if the hill at the Silver Creek Inn. Call and book a facial, a massage, pedicure, manicure or hair cut/color or style.
Winter Fun: Enjoy Family Friendly Sol Vista Ski area (Magnificent Colorado Skiing without the long lines and known as the best place to learn to ski) just two minutes away or enjoy Winter Park and Mary Jane skiing just 25 minutes away. Acres and Acres of Cross Country skiing available at Sol Vista, Snow Mountain Ranch (ten Minutes), and Devil's Thumb (20 minutes). Other winter wonderland activities include snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, sleigh rides, dog sleds, ice fishing, hot springs, and more.

The house enjoys a King Bed in the Main floor Master and the two Bedrooms on the second level offer a queen in one bedroom and two sets of bunkbeds with an additional trundle bed in the other bedroom. Additional sleeping is included with the queen sofa sleeper and an inflatable/portable twin can be added in the loft if necessary.

Why the Owner Chose SolVista
We purchased this home back when our kids still thought it was cool to hang out with us. They learned to ski or snowboard (we do neither) and we had a lot of fun tubing at various places around the sub-division as well at the Fraser Tubing hill. Our goal was to create this wonderful time and memories with our kids while they were still young enough to hang out with us. While our kids still love us they have moved on to hanging out with friends and girl/boy friends and John and I now get to enjoy the property (occasionally) just to relax. Conveniently the kids take care of the house and the animals while we are away. We figure that at some point the kids will settle down a bit and will once again join us for family gatherings at the Granby house.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It is incredibly relaxing, no matter what time of year. We put a lot of effort into creating a warm homey and inviting atmosphere that ourselves and our guests could appreciate. We wanted to combine a rustic feel with a touch of luxury. There are properties that are far more rustic, and properties that are on the higher end of the luxury scale, we wanted to combine both in the same home. Grand County is a four season vacation spot and we love being able to take advantage of each season. We love being able to share the experience with our valued guests.

Hello, we are John and Sharon, we have 5 children (currently (2012) ranging in age from 14 to 30), 3 dogs (Shar-pei's we rescued) and 1 cat (also a rescue). Back when we only had one pet she would accompany us to the property, currently we do not bring the 3 dogs with us because they out number myself and my husband, since our children don't generally hang with us anymore.

Sharon and John, we had a great ski vacation staying in your beautiful home. There was 6 adults and 3 children and everyone had plenty of room. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of skiing. We highly recommend this rental property.

We would definitely recommend this to friends and family! We went during the off season (fall), so restaurants were a little tricky to find, but what a gorgeous and relaxing place to spend a few days. The house is very well maintained, and the owner was very helpful in answering all our questions prior to the trip. We will definitely be back!!

We had a terrific respite from Memphis, TN (Swift Family) and Topeka, KS (Rasmussen Family), though with several days of skiing we didn't really rest! Your home worked out beautifully for us - some of us ski ar Winter Park and some here at Sol Vista. My son Jacob doesn't want to leave - he asked me to make you an offer :o) Thanks again!

This home was exactly what was stated in the description, very quiet neighborhood with everything you need for a perfect getaway vacation. Home was very neat and clean and homey, very well decorated....we simply LOVED it. It was our first visit to Co. and this home made it everything we could dream of. Close by (within 20- 30 mins.) to a number of attractions, i.e. Winter Park, Kremmling for whitewater rafting, Grand Lake & Rocky Mtn. Nat. Park. just to mention a few.
