This awesome, one bedroom, one bath condominiums is located in the Sunstone complex above Juniper Springs Lodge. Located in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, California it features awesome ski-in and ski-out access for the ultimate skiing experience. There are unbelievable mountain views from a private deck with all the amenities of home, and then some. Unlike the Juniper Springs condominiums, Sunstone is truly Ski-In and Ski-Out, just steps from the locker room to the ski slopes. We can guarantee that you will be in Sunstone. When booking through the mountain, they will not guarantee whether you will be in Sunstone or Juniper.
Nicely upgraded kitchen with modern appliances including a large microwave oven and dishwasher. This spectacular condominium sleeps four, with a huge king bed (with 450 thread count sheets and a down comforter) and a pull-out sofabed in the living room. Very comfortable living room with a 32 flat screen tv, gas fireplace, cable TV, VCR, DVD, and Stereo.
Located right on the ski slopes of Chair 15 for winter use, and hiking/mountain biking trails in the summer. Fantastic year-round heated pools and jacuzzi's. As if that were not enough, there are stainless outdoor barbecues, exercise room, laundry room, and high speed internet for your use. To relax a bit before or after skiing, there is a wonderful lounge, and several coffee bistros. This is a Non-Smoking unit.

Great 2nd floor unit that includes covered/heated parking, guest locker room (bring a lock) that's literally 10 steps from the slopes, pool and a full kitchen. So nice to be able to get out in the morning for an early run, come back for lunch and then head back out to finish the day. At Sunstone, there's no need to drive out to one of the lodges in the early morning to grab a parking spot and then schlep your gear to and from the slopes. We called the owner once and he picked up the phone right away. Thanks for being so reachable. Only drawback during our stay was that the Sunstone complex's wi-fi wasn't working. Sofa bed not the most comfortable, but then again ... are any of them that comfy?
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a great time at the Sunstone property. You cannot beat the ski in / ski out amenity. We had the time of our life. Great weather! Tons of snow.
