Warm home, great value

The house was just as described and it was a pleasure dealing with Mary. We used as a base for skiing Taos and found it to be perfect for our family of 4 - close enough to skiing, yet secluded enough to afford a little respite. We found the pictures to be very accurate as to the quality of the accomodations and will definitely stay here again if we come back skiing next year.

When we got there it was warm and clean inside. We have never been in a home like this and was pleasently suprized of how nice it was. We spent Christmas Eve through the following Wed. there. It was close to skiing, short drive to down town, and the kids loved playing in the wide open space outside. At night from the hot tube I have never seen so many stars!!! WOW!!

We had a totally awesome time. The house is sooo cute, secluded enough, and just a hop skip and a jump from the town center and Taos pueblo. Mary is super nice and there if you need anything. I would def stay there again!

This house has been our Taos get-a-way for the last five summers and by now we think of it as "ours"! Spacious enough for a family or cozy enough for two, this home offers us the "big sky" beauty, peace, and solitude that keep us coming back to northern New Mexico. Impeccably maintained and furnished with just the right amount of Southwest charm, we love the details the owners have considered to make a stay here special. Amenities like a well equipped kitchen and laundry give you the luxury of being "at home" away from home. Spotless kitchen and bath are accented with beautiful Mexican tiles. Central American folk art and textiles add color and whimsy throughout the house. Generously sized bedrooms offer comfortable queen size beds. There's a traditional kiva fireplace in the main room and large patio area for outside dining (complete with hummingbirds!). And the views...the views you will want to write home about! The very accommodating owners are close by and can help with information and suggestions about area attractions. The house is just the right distance from town to be a part of all the activity but offers tranquility when you need it. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR !

This home is everything you see in the photos. The scenery is amazing. The home owners have excellent taste in decorating and the environment was both warm and romantic. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone slept very well. Although the back road was a little hard to navigate, the home is close to town and there are alot of very good restaurants and shops available to keep one busy for several days. We are looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a great vacation.

Our family stayed in the Casita over Thanksgiving and it was a absolute delight. The weather was cold, the wind blowing but the casita was snug, warm and cheerful. The furnishings and decor are also warm and welcoming. The beds and linens are top quality and luxurious . It was a so nice to return to the Casita after a day in Taos. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to our questions or needs. This is a lovely place to stay while visiting northern New Mexico. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

The Mesa house is wonderful. The inside is beautiful furnished and lovingly cared for, comfortable and spacious. The views outside of the Taos mountains and the vast mesa where the weather provides non-stop entertainment are amazing. I loved walking for miles on the dirt road in the silence of the high desert where the sky is so big, it defies description. Taking a hot tub under the stars is hard to beat. The house is close to town for whatever you need, but far enough away that you feel you've really gotten "away from it all." It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy what this incredible land has to offer.
