  • A wonderful vacation!

"Thank You so much to two wonderful people, Sylvie and Bruno; who were very kind, friendly and amazing hosts. Our summer vacation couldn't be any better without having your wonderful, comfortable, well decorated studio. We spent ten days in St Maarten and having your place for our comfort was the key component to an enjoyable vacation. We were very happy and satisfied with the studio. The amazing experience of waking up in the morning looking right at ocean from our balcony was so awesome. Listening to the sound of the waves and the beauty of colors of the ocean is just an unforgettable experience. Thank you again, Sylvie and Bruno for making our stay pleasant and easy for the two of us. You both are amazing people and hope to see you in the near future. Keep up the nice friendly smiles and good hearts... Carlos and Ron"

  • Fantastic family vacation

"Our family of 8 adults recently stayed in Rick and Marie's beautiful home. The house is actually more beautiful than the pictures show. The view is breathtaking. The location of the house makes it very convenient to walk/drive to restaurants and beaches. Mullet Bay Beach was fun with lots of people and activities. Karakter Beach was also very nice--not as busy as Mullet and chairs and umbrellas were free. Drinks and food were available to purchase at both places. Jennie was very accommodating and helpful. We used the Shop and Drop grocery service for our first night and it worked out really well. So nice to not have to immediately run out to the grocery story. Drinks were chilled and food and snacks were delivered prior to our arrival. We did rent a car and enjoyed our shopping trip to Philipsburgh. Rick was very honest and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Rick and Marie for offering an incredible vacation filled with wonderful memories that will last a life time."

  • Perfect Caribbean Vacation

"I travel a lot and stay in many beautiful places. Valerie’s house tops the list! The photos don’t begin to capture the beauty of the location. We spent every night drinking wine on the porch, looking out at the ocean and basking in the warm night-time breeze. The house is thoughtfully designed and appointed and the layout of the house is perfect for indoor/outdoor living. Valerie was an incredible host, offering up tips on the best surf spots and kayak and wind-surfing rentals. When we had trouble with our rental car at the airport, Valerie called a local place, got us a good deal and convinced the company to bring the car to us! She was a perfect hostess and it is a perfect home—I can’t wait to be back."

  • A great vacation!

"This was our sixth vacation on the island but our first time staying on the French side. On all previous trips we stayed in a time-share near Cupecoy. The booking process was easy. The owners, Tony and Brent, were very responsive throughout, including providing us with directions, information and even recommendations for dining and things to do on the island. We had a little trouble finding the property. Laurence, the owner's representative on the island, was very nice and met us at a nearby pharmacy and led us to the property and gave us a quick tour of the unit and explained how things in it worked. The unit was exactly as it appears in the pictures - clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All of the appliances, both large and small, worked and the unit is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils. We've stayed in timeshares with refrigerators that froze everything, stoves that didn't work and had a a dozen spoons and no knives, so this was a very nice experience. It was also wonderful to have a washing machine in the unit and there is a drying rack provided. There had been a storm in October that impacted the cable and phone lines for large areas of the island. As a result, the TV reception was limited to a couple channels with very grainy pictures but clear audio. We had WiFi the first day but not afterwards. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries and tried to do what they could but we understood that these things were beyond their control. We made good use of the library of DVDs they have but also brought some of our own. We were able to access WiFi in some restaurants to check emails. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and because the condo faces east we were treated to a spectacular sunrise every morning. We had no problems with hot water per a previous reviewer's complaint. Tips - Rent a car. The complex is a distance from the nearest grocery store and quite a walk down the beach to the nearest restaurants. The complex is also quite hilly with a lot of stairs so pack lightly. On a personal note to animal lovers - the island, like much of the Caribbean, has a problem with homeless dogs and cats. We make a point to buy food to give them. It doesn't solve the problem but hope that it gives them some relief."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
