  • A New Favorite

"Spotlessly clean. Spacious. Perfect location in between Cayucos proper and Morro Bay and a short drive from Montana de Oro State Park, SLO, Hearst Castle, Cambria and the Paso Robles wine region. A perfect hub for a week away. Great partial views of the water and a large coast cypress, lots of windows for light and a breeze, and beach access DIRECTLY across the QUIET street. Great bed in the master suite. HIGHLY recommended from a frequent CA VRBO family."

  • Great getaway !

"We just returned from an incredible week at this lovely beachfront home ! We needed a lil R and R and this beach house was the perfect place . We had plenty of entertainment from our deck - dogs, horses, surfers and lots of sea life - we hardly left the house except for a few grocery runs. We walked several times a day - the beach was a great walking beach for us and for our dogs - lots of ball throwing and bird chasing ! The owners were so wonderful and took care of every detail for our week. Looking forward to another vacation at Sea Grape soon."

  • A Wonderful Place to Stay!

"This quaint little house is just perfect for our family vacations! The view is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. Having the beach right in front of the house makes it easy for our children to play and enjoy the ocean while we watch them from the beach, the two relaxing decks or from inside looking out the large front windows. The house meets all our needs with comfy beds, a washer and dryer, and a full kitchen. Our entire family loves coming back year after year. We truly enjoy staying here."

  • Lovely home away from home with only a few minor quirks.

"First off, let me get this out of the way - this is an absolutely beautiful location. Literally a stones throw away from the ocean front right outside the balcony. The condo itself is very lovely, decorated and equipped to make you feel right at home. All you need to bring is your clothes and toiletries. However, there are a few small issues that prevent me from saying that this place was absolutely perfect. First, the big glass doors on the balcony are at just the perfect angle to have the sun just beaming directly in during the fall when I stayed there. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but there are no blinds or curtains to block the sun from coming in and its so intensely bright with the water reflecting off the ocean that it almost makes the living room unusable without sunglasses from about 2:00 to 6:00. We jury-rigged a ghetto curtain using a spare sheet and some pants hangers, but this presented other problems. We hung the hangers on the molding "lip" around the patio doors but the wind kept blowing the sheet down. Well simple solution right? Close the door. Okay, well we would have but there isn't an AC in this place and we were starting to get a little warm. Keeping the doors open to let the ocean breeze in was the only way to cool the place down a bit. So then we had to get even MORE Ghetto and tape the hangers to the door frame so they wouldn't get blown off. I admit, this probably isn't a problem for everybody, but I was renting the place for a few days and was planning on lounging for part of it. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and don't plan on hanging out here in the middle of the day then it probably won't matter to you. Another thought you might have is hey, why not just spend time in another part of the condo? Well that gets to my second issue. Although there are three TVs in this place, only the one in the living room actually has working cable. This sounds nitpicky, and it probably is, but depending on your situation that might be a big deal. Other than the lack of a curtain of some sort, non-existant AC, and two of the three TVs not working this place was absolutely wonderful and I would definitely stay again."
