  • yosemite & bass lake vacation

"We recently stayed at Merry Posy Ranch for 3 nights for our stop over to yosemite and bass lake, and it's too bad we couldn't stay longer. The pictures don't do it full justice. The views from the patio were amazing, the home itself was very cozy and comfortable and having the pool was such a bonus while traveling with kids. The only draw back was the television, there's only one, so if your not use to falling asleep without background sounds it might take an adjustment but it's so absolutely stunning and peaceful that we would stay outside watching the stars until it was bed time so it really didn't affect our family. The house was also so accommodating, we've stayed in rentals where you were lucky to have basic toiletries, Merry Posy has pool toys, plush towels and blankets, extra kitchen items like spices and ziploc bags that might not sound like a big deal but really make you grateful when you're used to having them at your disposal like at your own home. I would definitely recommend this rental and if I return to the area this is where I'll be heading!"

  • great location, wonderful cabin

"Excellent base camp to visit Yosemite and the surrounding parks. Average drive to/from the cabin was about 45 minutes and its a fantastic drive. We really appreciated being able to make a quick drive down the the town of Mariposa to get supplies and enjoy a nice meal at the local restaurants. Cell service is non-existent on Sprint, however, AT&T has no issue. Some additional amenities would be nice. There is a tv but only a limited amount of channels. It would be nice if there bunch of board games/puzzles/cards to play or horse shoes/bags/bocce ball for outside. The cabin itself is very easy to get to and well marked with signs. It's comfortable and spacious with a great deck and hot tube. The hot tub was a perfect way to spend the evenings after a long hike. The owners are very responsive and will go out of their way to make sure everything is ok. We really appreciated everything they did to make us feel at home. Great price and great value for a trip to Yosemite. I'd stay here again."

  • Great Place!

"My family (including the dogs!) stayed in the main house for four nights. The place is beautiful. Just a short drive away to restaurants and a large grocery in Mariposa. Yosemite NP is about a half hour drive from this property."
