"I would definitely return back! I inquired on many near by rentals and I was happy to say I got a quick reply as far as vacancy and the process. We were mostly at the mountain having fun in the snow, but when we came to the cozy cabin it was already worm inside & it was pleasant stay down to the little things such as salt. I forgot to pack salt. I was happy to see it was very clean and the reclined chairs where a big hit. I really enjoyed that the property was gated all the way around. I felt safe to let my little one play out side. Very nice. Thank You for our wonderful weekend!!!!!"

"The Royal Canadian Lodge is a TRUE home away from home. It has everything you can imagine for the perfect family reunion or weekend retreat. A spacious lodge that accommodates large groups, it is fully equipped with recreational gear, kitchen tools, towels, sheets. You name it! The views are spectacular and there are so many different area's of the house you can use to congregate and be together. The patios are stunning and the new outdoor picnic area is perfect for that outdoor lunch or suntan. You wont be disappointed with your stay!"

"This was my second time at this cabin and I enjoyed as much as first time! It is in the perfect location and a close drive to everything. The price is great for what you get, a comfortable, cozy cabin. As noted by other reviewers the stairs are difficult for dogs, either going down to Master or up to loft so be aware of this. Otherwise I would recommend to everyone and already have to my friends. One of the best things is the owner Kerry, he is so nice and generous and a pleasure to deal with."

"Our group of 5 ladies really enjoyed our stay. We wanted a quiet, convenient location that would comfortably accommodate our crew. We found just that with this house on Temple.
Don't let the exterior or photos lead you to believe this is a tiny cottage. There is plenty of room in this two story getaway. And, the house was even better in person. Clean, cute and cozy.
There were plenty of nice touches including books and DVDs for entertainment.
The fireplace downstairs kept us toasty warm in the evenings. The central heat took some time to make its way upstairs while the downstairs bedrooms heated up quickly. The heated blankets helped with the upstairs rooms at night.
The location is the perfect distance for a 15-20 minute walk to the village with shops and restaurants.
I would definitely come back on a future trip to Big Bear."
