  • Cute little Cabin

"This is a cute little cabin in a great location. Far enough away from the Village to feel a little more rustic, but close enough to be able to get there quickly for a meal or shopping, and to all the other touristy places in town. It was a perfect size for our family of 3 and it was nice being able to have a seperate room for our son so he could do his own thing when we were at the cabin relaxing. The front porch was a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy the breeze. The back is not fenced in, but there is a tie-out that you can hook your dog to so they can explore. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need to be able to cook a nice meal, and there are even games and crayons hidden in a bench for you to use. The owners were very nice, super easy to work with and very good about getting back to us promptly. Overall our stay was really nice and we would consider staying here again in the future."

  • Camp Run-A-Muk...where friends become BEST friends!

"We had 4 couples who just recently spent a weekend at Camp-Run-A-Muk to celebrate a 40th birthday. We could not have chosen a better cabin. The cabin is beautiful and fully stocked to accommodate large groups, at luxury standards. A huge kitchen with open seating opens to the spacious living room and game room. It creates a communal feeling that allows everyone to feel like they are always a part of the party. We dined at the outdoor patio table, drank by the jacuzzi, and lounged on the comfortable couches all weekend. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms everyone had plenty of privacy and space for their things. On top of it all, the cabin is easy to find, had tons of parking, and is was close to Big Bear Blvd allowing for quick access to shopping and dining. The owners were a delight to work with and we will definitely be staying at Camp-Run-A-Muk again."

  • Perfect Christmas

"The cabin was perfect all 5 of our adult children and their families came to big bear for Christmas and it was just great. The cabin was clean and perfectly stocked and the owner was accommodating and very helpful. The location is close to a ski resort and the neighbors were very nice and helpful. I will rent it again."

  • Great Family Getaway at Amazing Location

"My wife and I brought our three children to Big Bear for the first time and stayed at the Grand. It truly is an exceptional home in an amazing location. We were just minutes from everything and the views from this home are truly unrivaled. We honestly scoured the coastline to find a home with a better view and there simply isn't one. The house was a destination itself such that when we weren't out hiking or boating, we were still experiencing the lake either sitting on the dock or on one of the many patios overlooking the lake. The house is very well appointed inside with lots of things to do (Ping-Pong, billiards, card table, bar) in the winter months, although we didn't use them much during our summer stay. The owners take extremely good care of the house and there were literally no maintenance or similar issues with the home. Our family has stayed in many high-end vacation rental homes and they all seem to show the wear and tear of being constantly rented. This home is the exception: there is very little wear noticeable on anything. Overall, I would consider the Grand one of the crown jewels of Big Bear Lake. It is very rare to find such a nice home for rent and in such great condition. Treat yourself to this amazing home and you won't be disappointed!"
