  • Great Place for a great rate

"My family and I visited Ada's flat in May 2014. The flat is very well-equipped (flat panel TVs with kids' channels, good wireless access, and everything you could need in the kitchen). The flat is also comfortable and clean. It is the perfect size for a small family -plenty of space without having any "wasted space". It is in a great location in Rosemary Beach. The management was also very easy to work with and communicates well. I have stayed in several different spots in Rosemary over the years and we will definitely return to Ada's Flat."

  • First Time Rosemary Beach Go'ers

"The house was exactly as described online... The furniture and all decor was very tastefully done and created a very upscale "home away from home" atmosphere. You could tell a lot of thought went into the decor, furniture and lighting. House colors were soothing and furniture comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with whatever you could imagine you would need on a daily basis....including utensils and cookware. Cabinets were stocked glasses, plates, bowls as well as Tupperware - all a large family could need and then some! Thank you for including dish soap, kitchen sponge, dishwasher packets and coffee filters - that was a super nice touch and did not go unnoticed! All the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. We placed a call into the management company regarding one of the bunk beds that needed tightening on the upper loft and they had a repair person out that same day. 'Loved that the rooms all had their own TVs and quality wood blinds for those that wanted to sleep in. We really enjoyed having the extra "game room" down stairs for our boys to hang out in. We also made use of the floor checkers set in the main living area. SO fun! We were a little confused at first at how to access the beach. The on-line pics made it look like the access road was directly off the front of the house. We soon realized that if you follow the wooden walkway around the side/back of the house and across the treed area, the access road appeared. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk. Wished there was a side walk as I would have felt more comfortable sending the younger ones down the road alone, but all in all , the road did not see a great amount of traffic. The only thing we had wished was present that was not was a "rinse off/shower/bathroom" area at the Inlet Beach access point. We had friends staying close to Rosemary Walkover A, so were able to use those facilities as needed. The beach was beautiful and the water could have easily be mistaken for that of the Caribbean! Rob was wonderful to work with. He went out of his way to answer questions about the surrounding area. Jessica at the Management company was also very helpful. We enjoyed Rosemary and touring around on rented bikes. Super vacation and looking forward to heading back!!"

  • Great house, location, amenities for the price!

"The Beach Air Cottage was so great and I had a terrific experience with the manager, Gayle. She was so helpful when I initially booked the house four months ago and helped us add an extra day, which we totally needed. This was our first trip to Rosemary Beach and our first vacation with our 27-month old. We didn't know what to expect except that the area came highly rated by several friends. The house is very spacious, included all kitchen necessities for us--even kid plates, bowls, and forks/spoons (I nearly brought my own non-breakables for my son, but didn't)--and the stackable washer/dryer was so handy (the house provided some laundry detergent and dryer sheets!). Several reasons I booked this house (never having been to RB) were the real bedroom (not loft), the extra half-bathroom, the full bath w/tub, and the W/D. The fact that they also include two bikes, a wagon, and toys were added bonus!! I couldn't find that matched in my searches for a place to stay. Since my son still naps, we wanted a real bedroom and door to close while the adults hung out downstairs to clean, watch TV, etc. My husband used the main level half-bath as "his bathroom." Since we are a family with a small child, the playground across from us was great, as was the couple of minutes walk (literally a few minutes--you can get there easily if not waiting on a distracted small child (ha) and come back to the house to retrieve any left items within 5 min) to the Boardwalk A (with handicap ramps), and also the few steps walk to the Coquina Pool. We just loved the location and even though the main house was rented, we didn't feel like we were all on top of one another. We loved using the gas grill for several meals and the wagon and beach chairs and other items in the garage are also a plus. Honestly, we only really needed to bring bathing suits and towels with us because Beach Air has all the beach items needed, even a cooler, umbrellas, chairs, tubes, boogie boards, etc. The only thing we decided we need to bring with us next time is a portable drying rack for all our wet clothes, towels, etc. Overall, we truly couldn't have asked for a better house, location or scenery! We loved the whole experience and hoping next year our little one will actually like the sand. :-)"

  • WOW! Fulfilled our wildest expectations!

"We just completed possibly the best vacation we have ever enjoyed. This set of Grandparents have dreamed of getting all 13 ½ of us together. My Son and two daughters traveled many miles from their respective locations along with their spouses and kids and we enjoyed the perfect setting for family get-together. THE GREAT ESCAPE provided each family a spacious home (tons of square feet) where all had room to breathe, and yes even read a book on the front porch, short walks to the beach and then to return to the this spacious home where we enjoyed our own personal pool, swam and the cousins had the time of their lives. Remarkable memories! The house lacked nothing! The owner and property manager were fantastic to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a fantastic experience!"

Rosemary Beach Travel Tips

This slice of paradise is no stranger to romantic sunsets, crowdless white sand beaches or a welcoming community atmosphere. As a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's Gulf Coast, Rosemary Beach stretches across 107 acres of gorgeous coastline with warm weather year-round.

To sweeten the deal, this Gulf-front town features a scenic bike trail, called the 30A Bike Trail or the Timpoochee Trail, that winds through the nearby beach communities and coastal dune lakes. After you work up an appetite, head to one of the specialty restaurants built into the city's commercial architecture that's reminiscent of Old World charm.

If you're still not sold, you can take advantage of the quaint town center and luxurious amenities, such as tennis courts pools and plenty of green space, to complement its sandy shores. Truly, Rosemary Beach is an ideal sun-and-sand vacation. Come one, come all - your beachside getaway is waiting for you.

Getting Here

For those coming by plane, the best way to get here is through the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, which is located about 20 miles away. If you're driving, head down Interstate 10 until you reach U.S. Highway 331, then take it south toward U.S. Highway 20. From there, make your way south down Highway 79 where you'll see signs for Rosemary Beach.

Best Things to Do

Hang Out on the Beach: Of course, the main draw of Rosemary is its majestic beach. Find a spot under a canopy on the glimmering white shores and spend your day relaxing while the waves come crashing in. If you want a little more action, head to the Butterfly Garden on the northwest corner of the area to play bocce ball.

30A Farmers Market: Get a taste of West Indies culture at 30A Farmers Market every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. At this quaint market, you'll walk through a beautiful park-like setting at the Town Center to find fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, homemade breads and local seafood. Bring the kids along to sample sweet treats, pies, and cupcakes. It's a family that everyone of all ages can enjoy.

Bike Along the 30A Bike Trails: With weather as fine as the vistas in Rosemary, there's never a bad time to bike around the city. Rent all of the gear at Bamboo Bicycle Company, which has bikes for everyone from toddlers to grandparents, and cruise along the 30A Trail, running from Dune Allen Beach to Rosemary Beach. Locals will tell you it's one of the best ways to check out the coast. If you want to try something new, opt for the tandem bike for a bike experience twice the fun!

Wine and Dine

Restaurant Paradis: When you think of fine dining, places like Restaurant Paradis come to mind. This small yet elegant spot serves up delectable steaks and seafood complemented by a bottle of wine. Throughout the year, they offer wine dinners and tastings from some of California's exclusive vintners. You can even choose to eat in the dining room, lounge or outside on the patio.

Cowgirl Kitchen: At Cowgirl Kitchen, the whole family can enjoy a casual, fun atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For youngsters, the chicken nachos are a hit, while parents tend to savor the drunken shrimp tacos. If you're looking for happy hour, there are six beers on tap and a wide selection of frozen Fat Tuesday daiquiris on Mondays through Thursdays.

Edward's Fine Food & Wine: How does Southern-infused dining with a wine bar sound? At the helm of Edward's kitchen is chef Ed Reese, who's known for staying true to simple and delicious flavors. Crowd favorites on the menu include baked oysters and the pan?-roasted fish of the day. No reservations are needed, and children are always welcome.
