Hermoso refugio de cabaña de tres dormitorios y dos baños con una gran sala familiar, linda cocina, cuarto de lavado y terraza con vista a una suave pendiente hacia la playa de arena en aguas cristalinas del lago Bobidosh.

Lac du Flambeau Family Reunion

The Lodge was just perfect for our family, 6 adults & 1 infant. We were close to family on Middle Sugarbush Lake and our main reunion host.Couples w small children came over to enjoy the Sandy to beach and loved it.The Lodge is clean and has a nice classic Up North apeal. Lollie and Mick are friendly, and very accommodating. Overall excellent fun week!!!

Great for the family!

The lake was small and private but we liked that part because we didn't have to worry about too much boat traffic. The beach area and docks were AMAZING for the kids to be able to swim and fish. The cabin size was perfect for our group and had all the amenities that we needed.

Mick, the host, was asking if there was anything he could get us to make our stay better. But there’s already boats and hammocks and campfires and a beautiful lake and a nice house with everything you need in a kitchen. I couldn’t find think of anything to ask for. It’s wonderful.

Wonderful Stay!

I am very thankful for being able to stay at Thunderbird point. Our family had an amazing vacation- filled with lake fun, fishing and fresh air. Mick and Lolly were fantastic hosts- supremely responsive and helpful. The home was spic and span and very cozy for quiet mornings and relaxing evenings. The lake was clear as could be. Perfect Northwoods getaway.

Perfect place for a peaceful getaway

Our stay was perfect! We were able to bring our retriever Henry, which was great. He was able to swim for his first time there off of the beach frontage. We rented one of the pontoon boats and fished. Everything you are looking for the do up north in one spot. Would recommend 10/10 times. Hosts were super responsive And had everything you could need to have a comfortable stay

Property was really nice. We rented a pontoon boat and took that out to fish and watch wildlife (baby loons!!). Fishing off the dock was fun.The water was perfect for swimming. The property had shared kayaks, canoes, row boat, etc which is perfect for the no wake lake.6 of us stayed in the lodge and it was more than comfortable. The lodge was well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of towels.The little dog run area off the front porch was great for our dogs! They didn’t have to be toted around the property.It is a shared property, so beach area and such are common areas.

Hylton’s family vacation.

The property was very nice. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Our family loved spending time on the lake on all the provided canoes, kayaks, and boats. Fishing was great and had campfires every night with the provided firewood. Owner even contacted me with local restaurant suggestions. Overall we had a wonderful time and can not wait to go back .

Summer in the North Woods

The Lodge is a wonderful family rental on a beautiful, cute lake. All the amenities were awesome from 3 bedrooms and 2 baths to the deck and outside area. The beach, piers and pontoon rental made this a perfect spot to spend our time outside enjoying nature. Lolly and Mick are wonderful hosts who are readily available if needed. We hope to return!

Lollie Sullivan grew up in Chicago and later married her high school sweetheart, with whom she raised seven children while splitting time between Wisconsin’s Northwoods and Marco Island, Florida. After a successful career as the founder and CEO of Accurate Title Insurance in Marco Island, she transitioned to a life centered around hospitality and the outdoors. She now lives full-time in the Northwoods at Thunderbird Point, where she enjoys life as an innkeeper and welcoming guests to the lake she calls home.

About Thunderbird Point & Lake Bobidosh

Thunderbird Point originally operated as a family summer resort with six cabins nestled among beautiful white pine, jack pine, and birch trees along the shores of Lake Bobidosh. Today, it remains a peaceful Northwoods retreat where guests can slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature.

Lake Bobidosh is known for its exceptionally clear water, excellent fishing, and quiet, uncrowded atmosphere. It is not a busy recreational lake, making it ideal for swimming, paddling, and relaxing days on the water. Guests often describe it as peaceful, inviting, and laid back, with the natural sounds of the Northwoods creating a soothing backdrop throughout their stay.

Just next door, White Sand Lake offers limited public access and additional opportunities for recreational water sports. On Lake Bobidosh, boating tends to be calm and leisurely, with pontoon boats, fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, swim rafts, and small sailboats sharing the water alongside plenty of casual swimming and shoreline relaxation.

While the property feels tucked away and private, it is still conveniently located near a wide variety of Northwoods attractions. Guests enjoy easy access to casinos, restaurants, shopping, antiquing, hiking and cycling trails, berry picking, golfing, hunting, Native American cultural museums, art galleries, water ski shows, and more—offering the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.
