Creekside Cottage was a wonderful experience! It was very clean and decorated beautifully! There w
It was so well equipped and comfortable and we all enjoyed the creek! I would definitely visit it again.
Very clean, large bedrooms, comfortable showers, everything we needed was there. Convenient to downtown and quiet. Enjoyed radio on front porch continually. Will definitely consider this for another week. Thanks to Beverly for being there when we arrived.
Excellent home, everything about it was perfect! It has all the amenities anyone could think of. Thank you for sharing it with us. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful charming cottage in the woods. Peaceful and quiet.
We enjoyed many activities and dinning experiences in Boone and Blowing Rock while staying here. Nice short side trips, returning to the house to enjoy the comforts of home.
Excellent home; great location
My wife and I stayed in the Creekside Cottage along with three grandchildren (ages 6, 8, and 10) this last week. It was a GREAT experience for all of us; the cottage has a spacious living area, dining area, and a well-supplied kitchen. The bedrooms are large, the beds extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious and well-stocked.
Although we couldn't use the fire pit due to rain every day, the grill was useful. The outdoor areas are well kept and very functional. The kids particularly enjoyed playing in the creek which flowed through the front yard and provided a pleasant visual backdrop as well as the peaceful sound of flowing water.
The house itself is beautifully appointed as far as furnishings and decorations; we all felt at home as soon as we walked in. The location is very nice...less than 10 minutes from downtown Boone with all its stores, shops, and restaurants. It is less than 15 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad, 20 minutes to The Blowing Rock and 25-30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain.
All in all Creekside Cottage was a wonderful centerpiece to a memorable summer visit to the mountains for these Floridians. My wife and I plan to return as soon as we can so that we can enjoy the fall and/or the winter.
Kudos to the owners for such a wonderful experience!
Warm and inviting place to stay.
This creekside cottage was warm and cozy and so inviting. It was a wonderful oasis for myself, my husband, and two children! Especially with being at a horse how each day for our daughter and the weather not being the greatest, unfortunately, this year it was so wonderful to be able to come back to the cottage and relax. Thank you for opening upyour home on the creek to us.
The High Country Area has many wonderful attractions year round. Enjoy driving or biking along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several trails in our area for bikes or just walking that are available to you throughout the year. The kids always love a day at our local theme park Tweetsie Railroad. The winter offers up skiing, snowboarding, sledding or tubbing. There is a variety of shopping in downtown Boone or Blowing Rock.
