Deer Lodge is located at Tuckaleechee Retreat Center, a Christian owned property with 5 other cabins. This beautiful A-frame, vaulted ceiling cabin sits in the Dry Valley area of Townsend, is peaceful and private, and is part of Tuckaleechee Retreat Center. The entrance to The Great Smoky Nat'l Park, the nation's only free national park, is only 20 minutes away. Deer Lodge can be used as a single unit or as unit connected to a retreat or reunion. The area is rural with a mountain view. The interior is mountain cabin style with pine board walls and comfortable furnishings. This large log cabin has 3 bedrooms and an open loft. It also has washer/dryer, spectacular views, gorgeous stone (gas) fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, foosball table, outdoor hot tub, and access to shared seasonal saltwater pool. Near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Townsend is a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and has a variety of restaurants, several tubing companies, horse back riding stables, golf course, and shopping opportunities.
There is parking for 4 vehicles next to Deer Lodge, however other parking is available near the office.
