Good communication from the host, Brian. This was our groups second time to stay here and once again, it did not disappoint. The gorgeous views, the cozy accommodations and location are great. You are not too far from Winter Park but far enough to feel like you have wide open space and sky. The neighborhood is perfect with a playground for the young kids and awesome naturally built in sled hills for the bigger kids and adults!
Our family stayed at this house and just loved it! Everything was great and the communication with our host was excellent. Definitely would stay here again!
Only thing that would make it better is a fireplace and larger living room. But even with 18 people it was good. Great place to stay!!

Thanks for your review Susan. I did want to mention that the house capacity is listed as 12 people on the VRBO Listing, so 18 people may have felt cozy.
We really enjoyed our trip! The house was perfect for our family, ranging from age 10 to 75. We loved the house, lake, fire pit, and all the great activities around Tabernash/Winter Park.
Beautiful house with an exceptional view. Very close to Winter Park for skiing. Wonderful area, house was very nice. Would highly recommend to stay here in winter or summer. House was nicely stocked and had everything we needed.
Great location for a family and friends ski weekend!
The house was great! Clean and well maintained, all the amenities you need for a wonderful getaway and a beautiful view! Plenty of room for our crew to spread out, cook family dinners and play games after skiing or sledding. Would be happy to come back!
The house was a perfect size for my friends and I. The dinner table is large enough to fit a big group and you don’t feel on top of each other the whole time since the bedrooms are spread out over various floors. View is great, beds were comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, house was always warm, great location. Would stay again.
Our family had a great time staying in Brian’s home in Tabernash. Everything is exactly as shown in photos. There was plenty of space for our group of 8, and the location of this house is absolutely perfect. The view, the nearby lake, the playground… it was exactly what we needed. We spent both of our days paddling around the pond and taking in the view. The kids had an absolute blast. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the house was close to hikes and Winter Park dining as well. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Keri - thanks so much for the nice review. Again, feel free to reach out if this becomes an annual event!
There were 11 of us! So the 5 bedrooms were all used! The location is great. We went skiing at Gramby, Tubing hill in Fraser, sleigh ride in Fraser. Kitchen had plenty of room and supplies. We did most meals in the house. The living room only has a couch and 2 chairs (and a big dining table) but not enough comfy seating for all of us to watch a movie. A little disappointed that the playground wasn’t cleared of the snow, but don’t think that’s the hosts fault. Overall a great stay for our Christmas celebration!

Shannon - thanks so much for your comments and staying with us. The lake and recreation area definitely changes during the winter months to be more sledding and skating focused. The HOA just can't keep up with all the snow removal on the basketball court and play ground to make them functional during winter. Thanks
The location of the house was fantastic. Close to many activities we enjoyed-- snow mobiling, tubing, shopping, sleigh ride... All within about 10-15 min. We also went to Grand Lake which was about 30min drive.
The views are beautiful!
Hot tub was a great bonus!
The house had pretty much everything we needed to cook.
The huge mudroom is great for coming back with wet snow boots and gear.
Our only complaint was difficulty getting in and out of driveway due to the heavy snowfall while we were there. It was not shoveled and the street by the house was not plowed.
Overall, It was a great trip!

Thanks Courtney - we are so glad you had a great stay.
Our road is plowed by the county and the driveway is plowed by our private service. We noticed you backed into the snowbank and got stuck and the plow service plowed around your cars on those snow days. I will say to future guests that this is a mountain property and you should be prepared with 4-wheel drive, snow tires and/or chains if you are venturing into the Colorado mountains in the winter.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Cabin. It was an easy drive to Winter Park Resort (about 20 min) and 10 min to Safeway. Brian made the check-in process very easy and the cabin is well equipped with everything from kitchen supplies and dishes to bedding and towels! The rooms were well setup and beds were comfy. The view is stunning, you can see parts of Winter Park ski resort! Kids loved the hot tub! We were able to take great snowy family pictures!
A few minor issues we ran into, LOTS OF STAIRS…kitchen, 2 more bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and the 2 larger rooms including master is up a second flight of stairs. It made it tough carrying all our luggage and grocery’s. If you’re traveling with an infant, this property is a bit challenging with the stairs and their location. We brought baby gates but they didn’t work because of the style of stairs and where the baseboards are located- had to get creative on a baby barricade :) We could only find 2 hair dryers so if you have ladies going, bring an extra as there are 3 bathrooms so you don’t have to go up and down the stairs to share. We were sad we couldn’t use the fire pit as it was completely covered in snow and no pathway was cleared to get to it, I don’t believe this is maintained by owner. Finally, if you’re allergic to dogs this isn’t the place for you as there was a ton of dog hair everywhere.. yes they have cleaners come but it was still stuck in the carpet and baseboards!

Karlie - thanks for the 5-star review! We are adding another hair dryer so all bathrooms have one based on your feedback - thank you! As for review, I did want to comment on the dog hair comment. We do not allow dogs, nor have dog hair built up. I completely don't understand this comment. I will say that the main area rug is wool and can shed some of the fibers. However, I don't believe there is or was dog hair "everywhere." Just not true.
The house is 3-stories and explained in great detail on the listing, so we were also surprised this was an issue.
Thanks again for staying and glad you had a good time.

The property served our needs very well. Access to the pond and park were great for the little kids. Location was convenient to hiking, fishing and RMNP.
I have rented properties in the area for myself and guest for the last several years for the annual Jazz Fest in July, and my guest and I all agree that this was one of the best properties. We loved ❤️ the way bathrooms and bedrooms were spread out on each floor, the home was very spacious and the views were amazing. Although the home did not have AC it cooled off fairly quickly by opening some windows, turning on the ceiling fans and placing a couple pedestal fans that I bought with me. My guest and I all agree that we would definitely stay here again if it’s available for future trips to the Jazz Fest. 👍👍
The property was great! For all 4 kids we had, it was their first time in snow so the neighborhood and playground were perfect as there was plenty of space for the kids to play in the snow.
House had ample supplies and space for everyone (12 people) and it didn't feel cramped, but cozy which was nice. And let me tell you.. the views were fantastic even from inside!
The hot tub was ready to go and it was great, even with the 3 degree weather. It was a great spot to look out over the valley and we enjoyed that as well.
The drive to Winter Park was no issue at all from the property so it worked out perfectly for us.
Brian was very communicative and answered any questions within a reasonable time. He also recommended some great local eats which helped us with our planning and as far as we are concerned went above and beyond as a host.
Overall our experience with this property was superb and we would stay there again for sure. Highly recommended!
We recently visited this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. Altogether, we had 3 families of 4. The size of the property was perfect with 2 large upstairs bedrooms (each with 1 bed), 2 main floor bedrooms (2 x 2 person bunks, 1 bed) and 1 basement bedroom (1 bed). Furthermore, the kitchen was extremely well stocked for us to prepare and host Thanksgiving. Another bonus was the large dining table that easily sat our whole group. The hot-tub on the patio is a must as the mountain views are SPECTACULAR.
For families, this house has 2 main staircases, so it wouldn’t be great for very young kids (or bring baby gates), but there is a playground right across the street. Also, car traffic is very low.
Lastly, the mudroom is huge and would be perfect for coming home from ski trips, and the owner is an excellent communicator.
We will definitely visit this property in the future. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
The property, house and host were all five stars; super responsive owner, wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is situated in a beautiful neighborhood with spectacular views all around and just a short drive to grand lake. The house itself fit 9 of us beautifully! The only down side of our stay were the ultra “sensitive” neighbors—we felt like we couldn’t really enjoy the deck or fire pit as there are signs everywhere stating neighbors will complain. In my opinion we were super respectful the entire stay; however, the neighbors still found a reason to complain (said we had a car alarm going off but our parents were home and didn’t hear anything). If you plan to stay with a big group and you like to talk/hang/listen to music outside, this may not be the place for you! Neighbors are literally two feet away.

Thanks for the review Katie. Fortunately the care alarm stopped after going for 15 minutes and I could hear it on the Ring doorbell recordings. However, it did not cause issues with the neighbors. I hope we can host you again.
