Our cabin is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell, on almost 60 acres. We are a rescue farm of about 50 animals ranging from horses, calves, sheep, emu, giant tortoise, lots of dogs and chickens and two mini-donkeys. We welcome traveling horses and we also have a dock for you to bring your boat. We have long trails for walking or horseback riding, seclusion for those who want to get away from it all and plenty to do for families. We host lots of weddings and, in addition to this cabin, have a three bedroom house with two kings, one queen and one full-sized bed. We love dogs on a leash and have visiting dogs most weeks, but dogs left alone in the cabin must be in a crate. 😀

It was great! The weather didn’t cooperate but our stay was still very relaxing.
We had a great time. Wish the weather had been better but everything else was nice.
Lovely place to stay!
Elexis and Buddy are great hosts! The accommodations were clean and unique. Such a quiet place! We spent our first day wandering around their beautiful property where we saw a couple of extremely large pet pigs, horses, a mule, deer and an emu! Our second day was cold and wet, so we spent the whole day in the quaint cabin they've built just for you! It was most relaxing and enjoyable! Highly recommended.
Perfect getaway to unplug and relax!
We had a wonderful stay at the Cabin at Spotted Fawn Farm! It’s seriously a hidden gem! All of the animals were so gentle and our kids loved them all! The dogs, Phoebe and Finn, got lots of attention from our kids who enjoyed rubbing their bellies and throwing them balls. We loved the interaction with the horses, donkey, sheep and all the rest of the gang! We are already planning another trip when it gets warmer so we can enjoy the lake some too!
Quiet & Cozy!
Enjoyed our stay at the Fawn Farm Cabin! Lots of wildlife in the area, including, you guessed it, about 10 or so fawns roaming around in the brush! Actually saw a beautiful Red Fox in full flight chasing one of the owner's chickens :). No TV or Internet was a relief from the daily rat race and the quiet was very welcome with my wife and I !! We attended the BassMaster Classic and had a bit of a drive to Greenville, but enjoyed the countryside and empty roads enough to make the trip well worth it! Owners were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this Cabin for anyone looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle we all seem to be stuck with. Cabin was very clean and comfortable.
Thanks so much! Enjoyed meeting you both!
A little slice of heaven!
What a lovely tiny house vacation. Even in drizzly weather, Spotted Fawn Farm cabin was magical. Elexis had let us know in advance that the fawns had just been weaned - but we never expected to see first 4, then 6 sweet spindly fawns frolicking across the grass, and one of them really asking for our attention! (Don't worry, we studiously averted our eyes and didn't pet him). We walked thru the woods to the lake and got a nice view there, too. Beautiful and relaxing.
A sweet, quiet cabin on a beautiful rescue farm
My overall experience at Spotted Fawn Farm/Cabin was relaxing and peaceful. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find four eggs of various colors and sizes in a pretty green bowl on the counter. The owners live on the property, but the cabin is set away from the main house, past two barns where chickens were roaming and dogs frolicked and near a horse arena that was not in use during my stay. The cabin was a small, one-bedroom "tiny home" that had beautiful wood interior, a front porch with seating, a futon couch in the living room and the coziest bed I've encountered. There was a simple, small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stovetop, sink and the basic kitchen equipment. The bathroom, with shower, is located through the bedroom. Everything was clean and in working order, and I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. There are walking trails throughout the property, including one leading to a creek behind the cabin, one leading to Tranquility Lane for a longer walk off-property, and one leading to the tip of Lake Hartwell. There are quite a few rescued animals at the farm in various fenced areas and wandering. I spotted a cow, donkeys, an emu, hens (and a very respectful rooster who waited patiently for me to awaken before greeting the day), a pig, many dogs (who were friendly but mostly left me alone after announcing my arrival), a cat, sheep and several fawns who followed a short distance behind me on my walks. There are a couple long easy/moderately difficult hikes within a short drive of the farm: Victoria Bryant State Park Trail (6 mile loop) near Royston approximately 30 minutes drive and Paynes Creek Park Trail (7 mile loop) about a 10 minutes drive. The Paynes Creek Trail winds around one edge of Lake Hartwell and is also good for mountain biking. The Spotted Fawn Farm/Cabin was a lovely place for a quiet respite that I would love to visit again. I highly recommend considering it for a solo traveler, couple or family with one or two younger children.
