"Spring Lodge" fue recientemente renovado en un estilo moderno de granja e inspirado en los colores y la sensación de los Parques Nacionales de EE. UU. Nuestra ubicación es conveniente para explorar todas las áreas de High Country, brindando un excelente acceso a restaurantes, la universidad, actividades al aire libre, etc., a la vez que brinda una ubicación "lejos de todo". Disfrute de unas vacaciones sofisticadas de retiro tipo resort.

Awesome!

We stayed at Spring Lodge for our niece’s wedding at Wonderlust Acres. The house was great, the porch was awesome and Pat and Rich were fabulous. When I called them to let them know we had gotten in early and was wondering if we could get an early check in they did not hesitate to accommodate my request. My only complaint is…our stay was not long enough.

Mountain getaway

Was great to get a mountain getaway with the family. This property gave us a secluded location, but close to the places we wanted to be. The hosts were great and kept great communication during our stay. The experience exceeded our expectations.

Relaxing place

This house was perfect for my families trip to my nieces wedding. House had plenty of room and relaxing. The rocking chairs on front porch was a great start to our day, relaxing and enjoying the view.

What a special place!

We really enjoyed our short stay in this beautiful spot. We were with good friends, and we remarked over and over about what a special, comfortable place this was. Our hosts were very attentive, and we were so sad our trip was cut short by us leaving quite early the last morning, because we missed their offered homemade chocolate croissants ❤️ Do yourself a favor, and book this incredible Spring Lodge.

Wonderful family memories

We had an amazing time at this lovely house. The owners were very helpful and gave us great insight to the area around us. The house was very clean and had all the supplies we needed. I definitely recommend this place!

Perfect location for R&R

The home is ideally situated for access to activities in Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson & Jefferson. The host family was very helpful with questions we had. Look forward to a return visit in the very near future.

Wonderful Getaway

Beautiful home and location. More space than the pictures do justice. A bit off the beaten path, while also close to great towns like Boone and West Jefferson. Already thinking about coming back in the summer to see the gardens in full bloom.

Beautiful property

This home was located in the mountains in a very nice, private, quiet setting. The front porch is expansive and invites you to sit for coffee each morning. The owners were very helpful with any requests.

Great Holiday Stay!

We enjoyed our Christmas getaway in this lovely home! I’m a cook and a baker and they definitely had just about everything I needed to make all of my holiday meals and baked treats. I appreciated the Christmas greeting call from the owners and all of the prompt responses to our questions. The house was clean, well appointed and a very joyful space to spend time in. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful setting

My husband and I loved the Spring Lodge! Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, relaxing front porch - what more could you ask for! The woods around the cabin were so pretty and peaceful. Rich and Pat were great to deal with. We want to bring the family back when we can.

Mountain Escape

This is the second time we have stayed at Spring Lodge. It is simply wonderful. Rich and Pat are great hosts, and the home has everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a porch with a view that is peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Respite for our college student

This home was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful property, so quiet and serene. Inside the house was warm, cozy and very nicely appointed with everything we needed. Pat and Rich were great hosts, and on the morning we left they brought us delicious croissants. We will definitely return - don't hesitate to make this home your vacation destination!!

Hobbies: gardening, woodworking, sailing, camping, travel international & domestic, reading. Traveled and worked in Europe for many years, Pat , the wife, studied in Italy and speaks basic Italian. Both enjoy hiking in South America and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sailed from North Carolina to Carribbean Islands for 14 months on personal boat. Reasonably fit for old guy, active non smoker, enjoy meeting new friends. We live in a modest log cabin in a small remote North Carolina town in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We love the quiet beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the NC Mountains. This home is located on 4 private acres with a rushing stream on the property. This is a special place and we wanted to make sure that this 20 year house was preserved and properly restored to reflect the charm of the life that we enjoy here in North Carolina

Nature abounds - Ashe County, NC is a special place; small, yet vibrant with great hiking trails , coupled with upscale art galleries, restaurants and interesting people. It is a special part of the North Carolina Mountains and is a rewarding area for visitors to explore.
