Why Steve Greer chose Blue Ridge Mountains

Our grandparents and dad were born nearby and the family church grounds were on this property. After the church moved, our grandparents purchased the land. Our dad's dream was to build a cabin on this property which became a reality a few years ago. We enjoy sharing this special place and hope you find renewed energy and love for life as you enjoy God's blessings here.

Incredible area and weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I wanted to try something different for spring break this year, so we decided we'd try a mountain retreat. Amazing experience! We'll have great stories to tell back home. Hiking Grandfather Mountain and getting to Calloway Peak was an experience unlike any other. Great time, would recommend.

Owner's Response: Hi Robert - thanks for choosing to stay with us and we are glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the feedback on the shower water pressure - we have cleaned the shower head and verified the water pressure issue is resolved. Our water comes from a well and sediment can build up causing restricted flow over time. We will keep an eye on it to make sure it is working well. Sorry that the cabin was a little noisy but glad everyone had a good time! We built the cabin with as much wood as possible and sometimes that is not as good of a sound barrier as drywall with insulation. Please come back and visit us again soon!

Great cabin for the mountains

  • 5 of 5

We had a great experience with this cabin. The property manager was very accommodating and nice. The cabin itself is in good condition and was a very nice place to stay at. The only thing that could be improved would be the water pressure in the showers! Other than that, I highly recommend this cabin.
