Long Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and experience at the cabin. The cabin was very neat and clean. It is very conveniently located to town but still in a nice and quiet location. It was the perfect size for our small family and our dog. The owners were very prompt to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again.

The instructions for the amenities were clear and precise. The neighbor was friendly. He checked on us with the mention of wintery weather in the forecast. The house is beautiful and perfect for quiet get away.

Very Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay! One of the best things about this cabin is the wood tones throughout the house. The walls, floor and blinds are all wood. The deck is great and the gates that have been added are a nice touch though I must say that if you have a small dog that has a mind to get get out, he can. We only used the upstairs master bedroom. I can tell you that the bed was very comfortable. I have joint pain problems but I slept very well regardless of how I was positioned. That was a lot different than my own bed at home. The upstairs sitting area is very cozy. The Jacuzzi was nice, although it was a bit challenging for someone that does not have one and is unfamiliar with how to remove the cover and work the controls. There is a great deal of rhododendron and mountain laurel in the neighborhood. It must be stunning when it is in bloom. All appliances worked just fine. Cooking a meal was as easy as at home. The location is convenient to the ASU campus and that was important to us. One of the best places we went to eat at was the Sunrise Cafe for breakfast. If you go there on a weekend be sure ti go early as it is very popular and fills up fast.
