Very nice stay we had over twenty people and everything was fine .
The home is huge , inviting, stocked kitchen, all brand new appliances, beautiful property to boot!
Five families arrived on the freshly paved road from all across America and were greeted by an absolutely gorgeous mansion nestled in the Smokies. We open the door to find stacks of wonderful books, pottery and an overall atmosphere of welcome. The property has an outstanding outdoor Church, hot tub, pavilion and amazing fire pit! We wanted for nothing. Brand new washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave and the kitchen was fully stocked with not one ,not two but three coffee makers! Pots, plates, bowls, and pans wine glasses, seating for all were all provided! Are high expectations for Blown Away! This place is magical!
So glad you enjoyed the Lodge. Please come back to see us!!!
A great lodge for a family vacation. Very secluded from craziness but close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to go out and enjoy what they have to offer. Adults and teens loved the hot tub, pool table, and shooting range. The property manager was quick to respond both prior to the trip and when we were at the lodge. Highly recommend this home and it's management team. We were kinda bummed not to see any bears..may have to come back and try again! :) Thanks Sonya!
Come back anytime we would love to have you. Maybe next time you will see a bear. You were wonderful guest.
Great remote vacation home
The main road was long, curvy, and narrow but once you reached the house, it was huge, private, and spacious! They have been renovating the interior, so there were a few minor issues due to this (few plug-ins did not work in one bedroom and no hot water on one side of the house) but the owner was very quick to remedy this for us!
The shooting range was utilized by the guys and the pool table was a big hit with everyone. We had plenty of space for all 18 of us to have privacy and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. When the home was booked, there was no Wi-Fi and I thought that would be ok. I was SO thankful they added Wi-Fi before we got there because we were in constant contact with the bridal party (we were there to attend my son’s wedding).
I would recommend this property to anyone!
We had a great time. Lodge was plenty big enough for 26 people. New owner doing work and is going to be even better when work is completed. Met the property manager Sonja who was so sweet. Would recommend this to others looking for a great place to vacation away from town.
Thanks for sharing the Lodge, made great family memories!
I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to just get away from it all. The property was beautiful;lots of trails and wildlife. We shot, hiked, grilled, and just relaxed outside everyday. It’s close to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge. We had 18 people and the house fit us all no problem. I would recommend pouring bleach around the garbage cafe because we had a black bear get into our garbage first night. But the black bear were harmless n really cute! All in all it was an awesome stay and we will definitely be back!
Walland is at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. 10.3 miles from Pigeon Forge and 10 miles Townsend.
