We came to Florida on holiday and we loved it as a holiday destination. When we turned into Legacy Park, then through the entrance gates to Highgate Park, we just knew w were in the right place! Secure, tranquil, elegant and immaculately maintained. In a superb location, both for access to Disney and other attractions, and also for supermarkets, shops and restaurants, We thought: 'It doesn't come better than this.'

The property was exactly as described!
We had a lovely week in our vacation home. The home is located in a beautiful, quiet, gated neighborhood. The house was very clean, which is the most important thing in my opinion. We did have to pay extra for heating the pool, which was needed, and for use of the grill. There is a grocery store right around the corner, and other stores such as Walmart, Target and Ross are about 10-15 min. away. My husband discovered a cool coffee shop called Axum, so if you're a coffee addict, be sure to check it out. It has a cat cafe next door so if you want, you can hang out with some rescue cats while sipping your coffee.

Cleaniliness is very important to us so we work hard to ensure that our quest appreciate this, which is the case here. We try to alert our guests to the amenities near by particularly the grocery store so they do not waste uneccessary time looking for one. We value the feedback we get and work hard to address any issues that are reported to us.
house not a 5 star
we stayed in this house from mar.12th until mar. 29th 2018.this house could be a 5 star if it was better maintained and cleaned when we arrived my 5 year old granddaughters when into the upstairs bathroom to wash their hands and the vanity false front fell on the floor so we put
it in the vanity and contacted the owner she sent a mister fix it who stuck it back in place but did not fix it , then the owner said she was going charge us for it so we took and sent pictures to the owned of loose cupboard doors, closet doors hanging of, very dirty heat vents and bathroom exshaust vents, extra blankets in closet not washed, mouldy toilet brush. my wife spent a day on her hands and knees cleaning very dirty floor tile and carpet,the owners site also is false advertising because it says heated pool does not mention extra charge for heat, there is two 4 slice toaster and only one side working on both vacuum cleaner looks as old as me and does not suck much. i am a 40 year red seal carpenter so believe me i seen how much work this house needs. i was not very happy with this owner. also no safe in this house ricky kennedy

This villa is situated in a perfect location (Hwy 192/27) near all things Disney, and all restaurants, shopping, and conveniences you could ask for.
The villa is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family to enjoy.
The gated community is very safe and quiet. The pool and screened in area are additional living and relaxing space to enjoy.
We, and our family members really enjoyed the home/pool/games room and the convenience of the location.
We really enjoyed our 4 weeks stay, it felt like home for us.
We recommend this villa for other families to enjoy.

Moved out after one night. One word. BEDBUGS
we thought found perfect house back in March. Thank goodness we came two days before we started parks to rest and relax, because those two days were wasted dealing with the issues from this house. Go ahead and know now that the owner is going to say I was the problem from the very start. So I will tell you and you can see for yourself. I was supposed to have a package delivered on the Monday Dec 18 but it came Friday before my arrival. I plainly asked if anyone staying in the house or if it would be ok until I got there. Owner says I expected management to get package. No. I simply asked a question. Her welcome letter states that towels were provided. No need to bring. We had TWO towels for twelve people no washcloths or hand towels . So I made a call to management. Next the thermostat is under lock and key and it was 76 degrees downstairs and above 85 upstairs. Unbearable when outside it’s 80 plus. I can tell you the new house was set on 78 when we arrived and much cooler than even them finally setting this house to 72. I brought a fan from home. My son bought two and the management company brought over four big fans. Again a legit complaint. Then I paid for pool to be heated. It wasn’t and I received postcard saying it was not heating correctly. Again I called management. Had planned on just dealing with it. Tuesday morning my 90 year old father came out of his room with a bug on him. Management insisted I call pest control and yes to our dismay. They tore all five bedrooms apart to find LIVE BEDBUGS downstairs. Many on the bottom of box springs and some in actual bed and dead ones in another room upstairs. Pest control took many pictures. Owner says That I complained from minute one and I CLAIM I saw a bedbug. it was pest control who told us bedbugs. we left and 12 people homeless , spent two days in these issues. Owner refunded most of money except for the one night we spent with the bedbugs . She refused to refund my One night stay. We had to find another house dec 19. Worked on that all day. Had to pay an extra Money for different house. Homeaway will help get my money back if I have pictures of bugs. I asked for pictures to give to Homeaway but management Homes of America and owner not responding. Bedbugs are a huge deal owner will not acknowledge bedbugs. We changed sheets and the clean sheets had small blood stains too. Nasty. I will check beds from now on. I did not enjoy my stay there at all.
This guest was a guest from hell.
My Villa has enjoyed consistently good reviews from previous guests. In fact, the family just before this guest stayed for a long period and enjoyed the house so much that they wish to come back next year. There were no complaints of bed bugs as there were no bedbugs in the property. In fact their comment is on how beautiful and how well equipped the house is.
Isn't it curious that the complainant has no pictures to validate her claim. Also as there was no bedbug complaint from previous guests, one wonders then how the claimed bedbugs arrived! Nevertheless, we take every comment seriously so following her complaint, pest control was brought in and the house was totally fumigated. I am pleased to report that another family is in the house at present and totally loving it.
The comments regarding towels are simply incorrect. There were 12 towels and 12 face towels organised in all the bathrooms, plus 2 swan-shaped towels in each bedroom. Twelve more towels and face towels were bought just to appease her. Her claim is simply wrong.
It is amazing what lengths some people will go to to extract money for compensation. Spurious claims of non existent towels, then the air conditioning, then bedbugs.
Firstly she requested to arrive earlier than she booked. Despite the inconvenience, her request was granted at no extra cost. She then requested a parcel collection with no prior arrangements with anyone, knowing that the property is a holiday home . Her expectation even prior to her arrival was for the property manager to wait in the house to receive her parcel. This of course was turned down as totally impractical. The guest then claims that she hoped another renter may be in the house and may collect her parcel. This is ridiculous. Can you imagine a tampering claim, followed by a compensation claim that could have emerged from that?
On her arrival to the house she requested the air conditioning be lowered to 60 degrees. This was refused to avoid freezing the AC pipes. She was then informed that lowering the AC to low temperatures will require a charge on her deposit. She quickly accepted the set temperature of 72 degrees. And it would seem she brought her own thermometer to check the upstairs temperature. 85 degrees is total nonsense.
Finally her bedbug claim, followed by a compensation claim for the next house she moved into! Isn't it amazing the length people will go to.
One can see the pattern in her behaviour.
Good sized villa for family vacation
Good sized villa, some minor improvements required. Overall a good base for our family vacation. Beds were comfortable, pool was a great size.
Our villa just like 99% of villa suffered some damages from the Sept 2017 hurricane. We are working incredibly hard to restore it to its fomer glory and we are nearly there!
Our other guests continue to comment on how wonderful as well as comfortable our villa is.
Our guests comfort continues to be our topmost priority and we will continue to add to the 5 star experience of Florida.

Difficult to communicate - maintenance is handled by a 3rd party and their availability is only Monday through Friday - around 9:30am to 4:30pm. Check-in is at 4pm. So, if you find anything wrong, you are out of luck as owner just redirects all queries to management company.
Poor check in experience - no visit by either owner or maintnenance company staff during our stay of 7 days. We were given wrong security code to check in. So alarms were blaring during our check in. All our kids were scared. Maintenance company didn't pick up the phone and only way was to contact the owner via email. No info on Wifi code, whereabouts for trash bags etc
May be wrong expectations: Dishwasher didn't close properly. Trash bags weren't there. Second night one of the bed was broken. Discovered that previous guests had broken it and it seemed it was not properly fixed. Left a voicemail to management company, no response. Basic toiletries were missing. Even dishwashing soap was limited which couldn't have lasted 7 days if dishwasher would have worked. Told the owner and she just asked to send a voicemail.
Also, one thing we realized late was that checkout time was 10 instead of 11 (contract says 11 whereas welcome letter says 10 so a breach of contract. We realized it too late that instead of contract, they insisted it is 10). So we were a bit late for which we did call the management company. However, still the owner was prompt to point out that she would like to charge us for the late check-out. I understand it is a policy but at the same time, with so many kids, there should have been some consideration when we had already called the management company at 10:30 that we are leaving at 10:45. However, we were sort of pushed out at 10:45 which resulted in us leaving some of the things messy as cleaners had told us they will take care of it and not a big deal.
It was a learning experience for us that probably we should have stuck with tried and tested properties and probably our expectations were wrong. We expected to spend more time enjoying the parks rather than doing grocery for trash bags and toilet paper as owner won't have any!
This guest caused numerous damages. I will NOT rent my villa to them again. Communication- The guest was sent a Welcome to my home document which gives clear information on how to access the villa. This document was sent to the guest prior to the rental date. The guest was advised to make sure they have the relevant codes as the villa is on an electronic key. There is also a comprehensive guest manual covering all aspects of the guests stay. The gate totally disregarded the information on Welcome to My home as well as the guest manual.There is a very helpful and very efficient property manager who on picking up any concern responds very promptly property as any other property is managed by a There is 24hr communication line
1.They broke the bed frame.
2.Broke the chandelier.
3.Tore the pool towel provided.
4.Stained the lovely white fabric of the dining chairs.
5.Left their rubbish everywhere in the house
6. Left their dripping wet pool towels all over the lounge
7. Expected to have been provided for the 12 of them weeks supply of toilet rolls , shampoo, showers gels, washing powders etc.
8 Could not even operate the electronic codes given to them
9. Expect maid service from the management company to be part of their rental.
