This cottage is charming. I really enjoyed my stay. The master bedroom mattress was super comfortable. The heater does make a lot of noise, but I turned it off when I slept and the room was perfectly warm. The kitchen is stocked with all you’ll need for your stay. Better than most places I’ve stayed. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We had a very nice visit. The house was clean and neat and worked out very well for our stay. Within walking distance to the Ferry, down town and other shopping and restaurant options was great. We would definitely stay here again. The management staff were very helpful and responsive.

Spacious lovely home to spend a week volunteering for local event.
This place was spacious, cane with a well-stocked kitchen, and was right next to downtown. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great place!
My family of 3 (preschooler included) loved this place! The location was great, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the amenities were just what we needed for our stay, and the Vacasa communication was helpful. Would definitely recommend this home to others!
Amazing cottage! We walked everywhere. Ate and Docs and Public House and BRUCIATO! All awesome meals. Cottage was clean and had all the we needed. It was absolutely perfect!
We had a relaxing stay here. It was the perfect location! It was close enough that we walked to the main street for coffee each morning and to do a little shopping, yet far enough away that it was very quiet.
Everything was as advertised. A clean & quiet home just 5 minutes from the center of town. Would book again!

Apple tree!
This is a charming cottage set among old apple trees, there are even deer that come by in the evening. It is a nice walk into the town along a footpath that goes between the waterfront and some lovely homes and gardens.
We were visiting family and it was so great to have space for ourselves. Thank you!

Cozy cottage is a great home base!
Perfect for our family of 4, which includes 2 kids under 12. Everything you need, and it was in a quiet neighborhood. A short 5-10 minute drive into town. No a/c but there are standing fans to help cool off during the hot afternoons. Evenings were cool when we visited this June.

Tiny ants in every room
We were excited for the location which did not disappoint, however we barely stayed at the house because there was a tiny ant infestation in every room, when contacted Vrbo did offer to come inspect but did not offer an credit or any acknowledgment of the issues. Beware

We had a fabulous stay on Bainbridge for a long weekend get away. With an extra friend staying on our trip it was a huge plus to have the additional bed in the second bedroom. All the beds were super comfortable (memory foam?) and I loved that we could control the heat in each room. We enjoyed making coffee in the morning and sitting out on the front and back porch, or next to the furnace in the little den/front room. We didn't end up renting a vehicle for our trip, and while it was around a 30 minute walk from the ferry to the house, it was a gorgeous walk with lots of beautiful scenery right on the water. If you do have a car it's probably a 5 minute drive from Downtown Bainbridge, and a little more to the ferry. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great little rental outside of the hustle and bustle of Seattle, but close enough to enjoy yourself in town. Would also be great for locals; a few friends who live in town all said they would love to rent something like this for a little staycation.

Disliked: Location
#1-Road was under major construction, closed a driveway blocked, believe we should have been notified before check-in with choice of another location. Because of construction garbage was not picked up, we put it out again when we left but road was still blocked.#2- except for Vacasa check out instructions NoInstructions on appliances, or heating.Wrong Tv remote local agent had to get us a universal remote to work tv (very nice. But he did not know about construction and had to walk in from cross street.) We did show him the missing tile on stair to TV/ Laundry area.#3- should have waste baskets in bedrooms and laundry area. Also a recycle basket in kitchen! Coffee pot still had old grounds, cobwebs in comers and on dinning room light.#4- property NOT maintained grass was all weeds and not cut at all the three weeks we were there. All in all very disappointing.
We have stayed in many vrbo’s over the years, some with movie theaters, game rooms, and beautiful views. This cabin was very inexpensive and was meant to just be a base camp as we cruised around on ferry’s, and explored the surrounding area before catching a flight out of Seattle home to Pensacola. We always look for places that are quiet as that is what we are used to, no loud tv’s in the next townhouse or apartment. So, this place completely fit the bill.Never stayed in a vrbo where every cabinet was stocked and organized like a high-end retail store. Berkey water filter in the fridge, comfortable beds, nice selection of pillows, very new appliances, and high-end chat-skis. Ground coffee, filters, and sugar. No cream but there is a Town and Country grocery within walking distance. So not to worry. The walking paths to the quaint small Bainbridge downtown area were great, they avoid streets and provide a stroll down water view walkways. We walked downtown and to Doc’s Marina. We also drove to the Bainbridge Ferry and parked so as not to need a car in Seattle. The parking app is by ParkMobile and very easy to use.We were here at the end of March 2025 beginning of April 2025, the weather was high 50’s low 40’s with a couple of days in the low 60s. The rain or drizzle was off and on but we had a lot of beautiful days, in fact the Seattle Needle on Sunday was crystal clear and no line.
We arrived to lots of wonderful flowers beginning to show themselves: lilac, tulip, roses, columbine, and more. Bed (dble)was comfy for one. Roomy. Clean. Good kitchen. Close enough to downtown.
I would highly recommend Apple tree cottage. It has homey touches with a nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It is also in a great location, just a 15 min walk to Coffee shops, bakeries and shopping. We will definitely return when we visit!

Super cute plus functional
This house is very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and functional. It is located in a residential neighborhood not far from the main shopping and dining area.
