Vaulted ceilings, large picture windows, exposed wood, and classic lodge décor make the home’s living spaces open and inviting. Your group will enjoy the numerous roomy common areas and intimate private spaces.

In summer, the Breckenridge Fun Park offers an array of activities, including mountain biking, mini golf, and super slides. There are several dining options at Peak 8, as well as nearby Main Street.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

After a day of hiking or skiing, come home and enjoy serene, wooded views while you unwind in the two rockers by the gas fireplace. Or perhaps read a book in the hammock. Fire up the BBQ for an easy dinner, then soak in the ten-person hot tub and watch the stars come out.

The spacious kitchen features gleaming granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a five-burner gas range, and a large center island. Whip up a pot of chili and gather for a hearty meal—choose between the six-person breakfast table or the eight-person dining table. A coffee bar with sink, espresso machine, and two barstools is a nice spot to sip your morning pick-me-up.

The impressive Great Room features a gas rock fireplace surrounded by comfortable seating. Unwind on the sofa, love seat, or one of the three recliners and swap stories about the day’s adventures. Or watch a movie on the 55” flat screen TV with DVD player.

On the lower level, you will find a game room with sofa, futon, wet bar, and 50” flat screen TV. Games, puzzles, and a PS2 will keep kids (and adults) busy. Nearby, there are two guest rooms—one with two full beds and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and another with a full bed and an en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination and double-sink vanity.

On the second floor, find a bedroom with a queen bed, full futon, and 26” flat screen TV. The en-suite bathroom has a double-sink vanity, walk-in shower, and jetted tub.

On the third floor, you’ll find a loft with a full-size futon. The adjacent master bedroom features a king bed, 26” flat screen TV, and a private balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a double-sink vanity, walk-in shower, and jetted tub.

Household amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer set, a ski room with benches and hooks for storing your gear, and garage parking for two vehicles (two more can park in the driveway).

THE LOCATION

Located just 2 blocks from the Peak 8 base, you’ll have easy access to the mountain. The Nordic Center is a block away and offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

In summer, the Breckenridge trails provide excellent hiking and mountain biking. Trek to Cucumber Gulch and watch for wildlife – including moose and black bear. The Breckenridge Fun Park offers an array of activities, including mountain biking, mini golf, and super slides.

For a meal out, walk to Robbie’s Tavern. Or head down to Breckenridge’s iconic Main Street (4-minute drive) for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Briar Rose Chophouse and Saloon is a popular steakhouse in a historic building. And Relish features an innovative twist on American wild game.

Beautiful home 2 blocks from peak 8 chair lifts. We enjoyed the large gourmet kitchen and open floor plan on the main level. The king bed in the master was very comfortable. The other beds need upgrading. They very hard and uncomfortable. The furniture in the living was ok but it would have been nice to have a recliner. The towels in some of the bathrooms should be replaced. They had stains and a few had holes. At this price point I had expected better. I hope when the property owners see this review they will address some of these concerns.

The perfect house for the groomsmen

The groom's party stayed in Paul's beautiful home during our son's wedding at Ten Mile Station. Everything was perfect and we were extremely pleased with this home. The bridal rental home was a few minutes away in Christie Heights but everyone loved the groom's house. My husband and I stayed in the upper master which had the king and the 3 other couples stayed in the 2nd master and 2 lower level bedrooms (queens). Each bedroom had a full bathroom and there were plenty of closets and hangers for the wedding attire. The upper master had a hair dryer. There was an iron in the laundry room and ironing board in the garage. The garage itself was huge and made a great staging area for our welcome BBQ at Carter Park Pavillon. The groom relaxed prior to the wedding in the private backyard hot tub. The house is situated next to a wooded lot which provided beauty and privacy. Paul made our dog feel welcome and provided leashes and water bowl. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the gondola and activities offered at the lodge were a short walk away (5 minutes): zip line, coaster, etc.). The home is just a short drive from town which was handy since we were back and forth all week.

The owner was wonderful to work with. We loved the home and we were so grateful to have found it to celebrate this special occasion!

The Best "Groom's House" Ever

We rented this home for the groomsmen during our son's wedding at Ten Mile Station and it couldn't have been more perfect! The 2 masters up and 2 bedrooms down (each with their own private bath) worked out just great. The owner was exceptionally easy to work with and eager to make sure we had everything we need for a perfect wedding week. The property was conveniently located and just minutes from the bride's family's rental in Christie Heights. That was a beautiful home as well but everyone thought this one was the best by far. The private location with ample parking and beautiful backyard was very relaxing. Our son, the groom, relaxed in the hot tub prior to the wedding and enjoyed the beautiful Colorado sunshine and trees. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with one hairdryer in the loft master. There were plenty of hangers in each closet which is important during a wedding because we brought lots of clothes. There is an iron and ironing board which is located in the garage. The garage was huge and made a great staging area for rehearsal dinner BBQ at Carter Park Pavilion. The entire week was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. We had our border collie with us and Paul made sure he felt welcome. You can tell he's a dog lover, as well. Thank you so much Paul!

WOW!!!

Traveling with 3 families, total, each walked in the door and said, "Wow!" We were all blown away with the property and location. It was more than spacious enough for our needs (10 of us) and could easily have slept closer to 18. The house has 4 master bedrooms and 2 family room areas (allowing our kiddos a quiet space away from the adults). The owner had everything we could have needed, especially in the kitchen...no need to eat out which is a big savings. The grill worked out great! The hot tub worked out great! Property is only one bus stop from Peak 8 (ski school) and turns out it was more convenient to keep skis than to valet them at the hill. Everything was as described/promised and more. I've likely forgotten more good things about this property than I've already mentioned. We are already planning a return trip next year.

Great Location - Owner really cares about your stay

Wonderful home on quiet pine forest street very close to Peak 8 base. We had a family of six and we were very comfortable, could have pushed that comfortably to 9-10. Easily parked 3 cars (2 in, 1 in the driveway) and plenty of room to store mountain bikes. Plenty of bedroom and bed options and best of all, a very large family room to gather every night. Kitchen was first rate and all pots, pans, utensils easy to find. Pet friendly which was a real nice option for us. Nice deck on the back with large hot tub and gas grill. Location was awesome.......four minute walk to Peak 8 Adventure park that includes alpine slide, zip lines, miniature golf, climbing wall, a great downhill rollercoaster (my personal favorite), and a great large outdoor deck for enjoying the sunshine and grabbing a bite to eat and drink. Four minute drive into town. Owner (Paul) really wants to know that you enjoyed your time. He provided great insight on the town of Breckenridge.....great restaurants, gondola location, parking locations, and best of all Paul gave us great local tips about where to watch fireworks on the 4th. Great stay, great owner who cares.

Amazing House!

Stayed here with a group of 10 people, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out. The entire house is top notch, and is well equipped with anything you could possibly need. It could easily support a group even larger than ours. We especially loved the huge hot tub after a long day on the slopes. While it's not exactly ski-in, it's only a short 5-min walk to the base of peak 8. The owner Paul is a pleasure to work with, and really cares about your enjoyment. We will definitely be back next year if our group size is the same.
