Dramático, romántico Casa frente al mar con 180 grados con vista al mar

Nido de Phoenix, nuestra romántica y espectacular casa de vacaciones frente al mar, está situado en dos acres gloriosos de bosque, justo en el océano.

El 2500 pies cuadrados, casa recién remodelada es luminoso y amplio, e incluye una sala de estar de 44 pies con ventanas a lo largo con vistas al océano. Los dos dormitorios principales tienen también insuperables, vistas panorámicas del océano. La casa tiene una gran privacidad. Incomparable belleza: Querido Pat,
Fuimos recibidos por los ciervos y las suaves ladrando 'holas' de los lobos marinos. La casa es muy cómoda - más espacio de lo que imaginamos y la luz tan maravilloso .. Las tarifas de vista en nuestro top tres - tras el Gran Cañón, Positano, Italia y atado con Villa Cinciano en la Toscana. Como decimos adiós a los leones ciervos y el mar, nos comprometemos a volver y siempre recordar la belleza de día y la manta pacífico de la Vía Láctea por la noche.

A magical spot on the Coast. The drive up on the PCH is always worth it. We spent 2 weeks staring at the sea in splendid isolation. Books, reading, and soaking. Can’t say enough about the view. Our host’s communication was just right. Need a break from the world (with WiFi if you HAVE to have it)? We’re planning our return as we sit at the airport.

We have stayed at a number of beach houses in the Gualala area and we gave The Phoenix Nest a 4.5 out of 5.Clean, great views, nice deck and hot tub. The weather was a 5 out 5, clear and warm. The first night in the hot tub the stars were amazing as was the Milky Way. The electric car charger refused to work after the first charging session. We communicated this to Patricia and she immediately responded with other charging locations in the area.

Beautiful home, well equipped, amazing views! Owner was very communicative, friendly, and helpful. Everything you need is here! There are even passes to private beaches nearby. Being a couple of older ladies, we were not aware of all the stairs so this was a challenge for us but probably not for most. Highly recommended this place!

Maryellen and George from hot Texas to Heavenly Gualala. We spent 10 days of our 3 week escape from the Texas heat in this magnificent house. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is a dream. Everything works as it should with excellent cookware, abundant supplies for cooking and, rarest of the rare, sharp knives. The furnishings in the house are tasteful and comfortable. There is neither too little nor too much furniture but just the right amount and the beds are a dream. The house just flows. The views are spectacular and, very important for us, the house is very private,even secluded. Pat and Sid are wonderful hosts.They were always there to answer any question we had. Maryellen rates Phoenix Nest the best place we have ever stayed. I have learned that wives are always right. Thank you Pat and Sid for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful and beautiful nest

Pat's cottage was perfect for a quiet long weekend for me & my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The house is full of interesting art and books, and clearly well-loved. You don't need to leave the house to get amazing ocean views in all directions, but if you do want to get out and about there are many options for hiking in the area.

Just Spectacular!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this picturesque home the week of 6/21. The pictures from the listing helped make our decision but the experience of being there far exceeded all expectations. It was such a relaxing place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the California northern coast. We were greeted by the resident deer and the barking of sea lions. The local towns are low key which was just right for how we like to spend our vacations. The host was responsive and very helpful with any questions or recommendations. thank you Pat for the use of your home. We hope to be back soon!.

The best vacation spot on the California coast

This gem is simply the best vacation home on the entire California coast. It has everything. There are sweeping panoramic views, from almost every room in the house. The home is spacious, tasteful and completely comfortable. There’s great privacy, and an infinite number of things to do both in and around the house. just reading beside the roaring fireplace is pure heaven. Pat, the manager, is always eager to help and make her guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Spending time watching the abundance of sea mammals and bird life is wondrous. We will come again soon!

Wonderful retreat

We absolutely loved our stay at Haven’s Nest and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing escape. The location is truly perfection—with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The home is beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained, and has such a warm, welcoming vibe.The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and made our evenings extra special. We also loved walking to the peninsula and taking tons of fun photos—it’s such a scenic spot. Haven’s Nest is conveniently located near Mendocino, with easy access to beaches, hiking trails, and so many fun activities.This place has everything you need for a memorable getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful time at the Phoenix Ranch

From the moment we stepped into the Phoenix Next we were greeted with the most amazing view on the California coast - a little while later the seals began to bark and the worries of the world melted away.Pat being a terrific and helpful host, steered us away from the local flooding along our route from SJC - not to worry we got there as the clouds lifted and the sun came out.It doesn't happen every night, but we were treated to what a real dark sky looks like, with the Milky Way, Mars, Jupiter and Venus blinding in the sky.Sadly our time was over too soon, so we'll have to come back again. Thanks Pat for lending us your lovely home!

Phoenix Nest

First, Pat was one of the best communicators I have experienced on VRBO. She made all aspects of our stay seamless, from the reservation process to our departure. Thanks Pat….and Sid!The “Nest” was a perfect place to begin the New Year in a positive and relaxing way. All the amenities we could have asked for (plus the hot tub!), unbeatable views, proximity to outdoor activities, wildlife, and privacy. I could go on, but you should check it out and decide for yourself;)

Winter in Gualala

We had a lovely stay for almost a week at Phoenix Nest, over the Christmas holiday. The house had just about everything we could need including climate control, complete kitchen with equipment, hot tub, super comfortable furniture, and lots of helpful instructions. The ability to explore an exclusive nature preserve is also noteworthy. Would stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Mendocino home! The views were breathtaking, and the layout of the house was both spacious and inviting. The fully stocked kitchen made preparing our Thanksgiving meal a breeze, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere was perfect for our much-needed downtime. The location was exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation and recharging. Highly recommend!

The perfect place to restore and reflect

We had the good fortune to stay at the Phoenix Nest four years ago, and were thrilled to return for a longer stay this fall. The location of this beautiful and very comfortable home is just perfect, situated on a bluff on the rugged Mendocino County coast with spectacular views of the ocean, while still being easy to access from Highway 1 and close to nearby towns, services, and park lands. We're already talking about when we'll have a chance to return again.

Wonderful ocean getaway

Pat and Sid's place was wonderful. The views from almost every room were gorgeous. They thought of everything to make our stay stress free and comfortable. Loved watching the ocean every day to see what new things we would discover. Definitely want to return someday.

Tranquil Treasure

This is an absolutely gorgeous home with views that are awe inspiring. The location demands that you relax and let your troubles and life's demands slide away. I actually enjoyed not having cell phone service, it allowed me to disconnect from my phone which I have become much too attached to. We explored the surrounding areas and had some incredible hikes and adventures. Pat was incredibly responsive when questions arose.

Lovely vacation home with incredible views

My husband and I stayed at this lovely vacation rental last week for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The home was easy to find and had great parking in front of the house. We had a lot of privacy there which was very nice. The views from the house are spectacular (although we did not see any whales, but that's okay). We loved the location as it was only a 2-minute drive to Anchor Bay's downtown, 6 minutes to Gualala, and about 15 minutes to Point Arena. There's so much beauty to see there. We went on several walks/short hikes/beach walks during our stay. There was a problem when we arrived and Patricia was responsive to my concern and kept up communication with us during our stay. I enjoyed my communication with Patricia.

Weekend with a beautiful view

The house was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. A pleasant surprise was the spice drawer. I am used to vrbo properties usually only having salt and pepper. The views from every room were stunning. We enjoyed listening to the sea lions and watching the fog roll in and out. I'd definitely stay here again. Pat the host was great.

INCREDIBLE VIEWS

This house has absolutely AMAZING views! Two walls of just big windows in the living area. Huge window in the dining area with a little desk if you want to be on the computer and still look at the sea lions and the Pacific Ocean! We saw and listened to sea lions everyday! I have stayed in many VRBO houses before and this house is definitely the most well stocked house that I have ever rented. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. Beautiful and plentiful dishes, pots and pans. A toaster and toaster oven. Very nice coffee maker. Beautiful clean white towels in the bathrooms. Extra towels of every type in the washer and dryer area. The owners definitely go out of their way to make sure that their guests have everything they need and are comfortable. Very nice hiking at the Gualala Art Center which is just a short drive from the house. We loved the restaurant in town called VUE. It had views of the ocean at every table. AND last but not least I loved the weather. It was so nice to get away from the heat and humidity!
