Unit 179- 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Gulf Side Club Interior Condominium

This third floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. There is a spacious elevator to take you to the third floor. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds, with a 38" flat screen TV. The guest bedroom has a king size bed with a 32" flat screen TV. The master and guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. The living room is equipped with a 50" flat screen TV for your enjoyment. The lovely spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and plenty of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker. There is beautiful tile throughout the unit. The comfortably furnished screened- in patio with sliding doors allows you and your family to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

Beautiful property, very well kept

Loved the unit, property and the grounds.Staff was extremely friendly/helpful.The supplies in unit were lacking. No salt/pepper, spatula etc. We stay at vacation rentals often and basic supplies are always included

Summer on Siesta key

We were impressed with the property. We had lots of room for the six of us. As well, only 3-5 minutes to the beach. We were also near pool & tennis courts. Jumped on free trolley across street to go downtown for shopping & restaurants. We did have breakfast and lunch @ condo most days. We would definitely stay again, thank you.

Vacation at Palm Bay

However kitchen not furnished well I.e., 6 dinner plates, 3 plastic glasses, some dinnerware chipped etc. Needs coffee mugs. Could use better signage when trying to find driveway especially at night. Appreciate help with beach chairs! Very friendly staff! Great experience

Lovely room but terrible beds

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely rental with updated amenities. Extremely clean but it would have been nice to have towel service. It was nice there were beach towels included. Sadly, the bedrooms were lacking in decent mattresses and pillows. We had to stack 2 or 3 pillows together they were so flat. The mattress was totally worn out and had zero support. We woke up every morning in pain. If they were replaced our experience would have been 5 stars all the way.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to The Palm Club for over 40 years. It has a great location and is generally well maintained. Staff is responsive including maintenance. The rooms are clean and well maintained as well. Two comments: The use of “surge pricing “ increased the cost of our stay this time by about 30% or so. Costs are up but this seems a bit excessive. Second, given the increase in cost some of the little services such having the ability to get fresh towels during our ten day stay should have continued (being told we could launder them ourselves doesn’t cut it). We will be back and hopefully our comments will result in some of the little services returning.

Traded View for tub

Property was awesome. Everyone at the desk was helpful. However we rented a unit with a gulf view & tub. This unit had taken out the tub to replace with shower but did not update the website. We alerted the office and they put us in another unit the next day which caused us inconvenience of packing up and moving. Most important we lost our view. We were looking at construction and a roof . Nothing pretty about that. We did ask to see it first but was told it was one of the nicer ones . In our minds we thought must be nicer or just as nice for what we paid . We would have communicated this when we saw the not the view we paid for but with scheduled events we had to attend for the 3 nights would of just taken up time . Disappointed on that side of it.

Nice condo, beautiful resort and beach area

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was all-around great --but please consider offering four pickleball courts (one on each side of the tennis nets). Plenty of room to store portable nexts along the wall. The sport is growing so fast, and every year, more younger players and families are hoping for a court! I played in a group each morning and with 8-15 players coming, we could've used more courts. Next year the courts will be even busier.😊

Absolutely Beautiful!

From the moment we booked the unit, the Palm Bay Club stayed in contact by emailing various reminders. The employees at the Palm Bay Club were very friendly and security was always visible. The unit was nicely decorated and clean. The resort was absolutely beautiful and the sand at the beach was amazing. Our family has decided to return to the Palm Bay Club yearly. It was truly the best vacation!

March 2022 rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: location was awesome as far as beach and siesta key. Our unit is furthest from beach but it’s a pleasant short stroll through the complex- no main road to cross. It was a corner unit with a lovely sea breeze if you like fresh air over AC. Unit abuts tennis court and pool- pleasant view but a whole lot of young people (March spring breaks) congregate in the evenings so very very noisy at night. Complex Grounds are meticulously kept, very pretty and staff were all very friendly. I rate low because the bedroom carpeting in both rooms was horrible/ dirty old green shag carpeting, the living room area rug was filthy- couldn’t keep our feet/socks clean after walking on any carpet. I suggest removing all the carpeting just bare floors would even be better. if they don’t want to invest in replacing carpets.The bathrooms are old and dated but it’s just a rental so no biggie.

We've stayed in several units on the property over the years and have always enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly and responsive to your needs. Beach access is the best on Midnight Pass. This unit needs a major update, bathrooms, carpet, and beds. While we would not stay in this unit again in it's current condition we would come back to Palm Bay Club without hesitation.

Great Stay @ Palm Bay but a Few Aspects Could Have Been Better

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Palm Bay Club staff is very nice. Check-in process was timely & efficient. Our unit (#179) was not the greatest we’ve stayed in at Palm Bay. Dishwasher didn’t work so we hand-washed all of our dishes all week, lose outlets so electronics often didn’t charge or stay on, cabinet doors didn’t stay closed & we reserved grill w/office one evening but apparently they double-booked it. The lounge chair situation on the beach was not good at all. You had to be out on the beach by 9:15 am every morning to get your chairs & throw towels on them or they were all gone by 9:30. Even taking all of this into consideration though, our family had a wonderful week staying @Palm Bay Club.

Will not rent again

Internet connection was poor throughout the stay. No counter space in bathrooms.
