About Jim or Sandy King

My husband and I both work in Massachusetts. We bought the condo in this location because we love the St. Augustine area.

Jim or Sandy King purchased this condo in 1998

Why Jim or Sandy King chose Florida North East

St. Augustine is a beautiful city with lots of restaurants and shops. We have a great beach and plenty of golf courses are in the area.

What makes this condo unique

We like leaving the windows open so we can listen to the surf. We take long walks or bike rides on the beach.

Clean, nice, beach was wonderful

  • 4 of 5

The condo was very nice, clean, had everything you need. Plenty of towels and kitchen untensils. The beach was great. Not crowded, very peaceful. But not a lot for teenagers or young adults to do. And hard to find outstanding food. We really liked Saltwater Cowboys.

April 2017 in St. Augustine

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our one month stay at this lovely condo which overlooked the pool and ocean. It was a very short walk to an uncrowded beach with several miles of white sand. The condo was very nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. Restaurants and stores are near by for groceries and essentials. For anything else one might need in the way of site seeing, restaurants, and entertainment...St Augustine is only a 20 minute drive away. This was a perfect getaway for us and we would recommend booking this condo to anyone.

Fantastic Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I loved visiting St. Augustine and staying in the Kings' beautiful condo. As others suggested, the layout was perfect and there was plenty of room. We especially loved all the windows and the beautiful view of the ocean. You can actually lay in bed and watch the sunset over the ocean. They keep a "beach buggy" in the closet which came in really handy to haul our beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach bag. Because of "Himicane" Matthew, we decided to evacuate a couple of days early which was really disappointing. However, we were able to spend several hours on the beach each day we were there so all is well. Must visit the lighthouse and climb the 200+ stairs to the top. Well worth it! We also visited St. Augustine historic area and the shops are so much fun to browse through. We ate at several local restaurants and they were all good. However, Sunset Grille was by far our favorite. Must try the coconut shrimp and lobster mac-n-cheese. It is a little more costly but well worth it. The condo owner, Jim King, was great to work with. We had some last minute coordination issues to deal with because of the storm but he was so helpful, accommodating, and responsive. I would love to visit here again and will definitely be looking to stay in this wonderful condo.

Awesome stay - in spite of tropical storm Hermaine

  • 5 of 5

This place was great to stay at!! Clean, well-arranged, and supplied with many items. The outside area was well maintained and very clean. The people we met were friendly and kind. This was a short distance from St. Augustine, but that was a benefit. The beach was uncrowded, wide and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were wonderful and accommodating. We definitely recommend this condo highly!

Relaxing in crowded beach vacation.

  • 5 of 5

Nicely arranged one bedroom. Plenty of space, well equipped, and just far enough from St. Augustine to keep it in crowded. We loved the big wide open beach! My wife and I run almost every morning. The Matanzas River across the street provides great views from the back of the condo and was nice to look at while running. We recommend visiting the Fort Matanzas National Monument. It is just over two miles South on A1A and it is free with a ferry ride across the river to the fort.

You can't beat this place for the price. We had a great week. Our two favorite places to eat are Mango Mango's in St. Augustine Beach where the food is great and priced well, and Matanzas Inlet Restaurant where you can sit outside overlooking the water. Great sunsets there.

Thanks for a great time!
