Great Getaway!

Our family of 4 and 2 dogs had a great stay here. The house was very clean and fully stocked with essentials. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful that we hated to leave but will definitely return.

Fun weekend river trip

Overall we enjoyed the quick weekend at this house. It was very nicely appointed and well represented in the listing. In the future I would choose a place with a later checkout but it was very clearly mentioned by the host before booking so I still gave it 5 stars.

Beautiful Home and Location

We traveled with our children and grandchildren and had a very relaxing stay. The property and location are beautiful, and the owner is very considerate and tried to take care of any needs we had. We really enjoyed our walks along the trails and sitting on the porch watching the river. The kids also loved the pool and hottub. We had a great time and hope to return for a future visit.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed the amenities and roominess provided by this cabin. We had 7 adults and 1 infant and had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil and dish necessary to cook our meals. The bed's were very comfortable, which was very refreshing. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because the refrigerator doesn't get the food especially cold and the road access to the cabin was very rough, especially driving a car instead of a truck or SUV. But the cabin is lovely and comfortable and located in a serene setting.

Thanksgiving in Blue Ridge

Very nice house on the Toccoa River edge in a secluded area in Blue Ridge! We planned for my family to spend Thanksgiving. The kitchen, with a wood burning stove, is large and loved the butler-style pantry which held all our food and things we brought to pull off a thanksgiving feast. The stoves warmed up the space very quickly was nice and cozy. The multiple decks were great too as the view on the river was very cool. We were fortunate to have great weather! I slept in the upstairs bedroom and the bed was great. Wonderful large walk in closet.... next time I’ll pack all my clothes on hangers for a quick unpack. That room has it own heat/air so could manage the temp we wanted to sleep in. The main floor had a bedroom also and has the bathroom everyone used while socializing. The downstairs had two small bedrooms, a bath and an extra refrigerator that was a godsend for us. Bring slippers for down there walking to the bathroom just down the hall has concrete floor (cool in the winter). Shortly before arriving I was in contact with Sabrina, the house manager! She was a delight and share all the info I was wanting to know! She even stocked some new items to help with creating the thanksgiving feast! She was so helpful and just a pleasure!!! Couldn’t really gush from our bank as the Toccoa was running high. We did attend the local ‘Light up Blue Ridge’. That was great!!! Saw the Christmas parade! Such a charming town!

This place is such a gem. I stayed here for only two nights but will be staying here a lot more in the future. Super communicative host with a very clean property that has a fabulous view!
Great spot for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail.

Wonderful stay

This cabin was great. The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were all a good size, and easily accommodated our family of 6. There were plenty of activities between the fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole, and hot tub. The view of the river was spectacular. The views were amazing and really captured the beauty of this area.Greg was very easy to communicate with via VRBO. We were initially skeptical because we were dealing with the property manager for payment, but that is because the property is managed by Toccoa. Communication with Wyatt at Toccoa Properties was very easy as well, we were just leery because of scams we saw with other unrelated VRBOs. This was no scam and we would love to visit again.

This was our second visit and we were all still very impressed. Very clean and neat, Greg is responsive with any questions we ahead before the stay. Location is great, beautiful view of river.

Perfect River Stay!!

I can’t speak highly enough of this house! Greg and his team have done an excellent job of making this the perfect river stay. It might be the most well stocked vacation rental I’ve stayed in. The grill and black stone griddle were so great to use. The hot tub worked perfectly (I’d recommend jumping in the river before you hop in!). The beds were all comfortable. We floated the river from the house to the Curtis Switch takeout (roughly 4 miles), and it took us about 1.5hrs with the higher river flow due to the dam releasing water. The house worked perfectly for my friends and I who were looking for a relaxing weekend!

Fantastic getaway!

Wonderful home! We took our adult children and their significant others on a short getaway trip and had an amazing time! We had a total of 8 adults and the home was spacious enough for us not to be on top of each other all the time. The location of the home is very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. The owner of the house was very easy to get in touch with when we had a couple of small issues that were completely out of his control. Would highly recommend renting this lovely home and hopefully we will be able to visit again!

Absolutely awesome

What a piece of paradise this place is. Location, amenities, comfort, view. Everything about this property was excellent. The host could not have been more prompt in replies to any questions (which were not many). Sitting out on one of the many porches listening to the water in the morning with coffee and at night with wine was perfect! The guys had easy access to the water for some trout fishing. Horseback riding, kayaking, hiking were all within a very short distance and sooo enjoyable!! Highly recommend this property.

A week on the Taccoa

My family of 4 spent a week at the Taccoa River House. The property and home were both excellent, along with the pool and other amenities. Tons to do and less that a 10 min drive from downtown. We would love to come back.

Blue Ridge Mountain River Escape

We had an absolutely incredible 4 day stay in this amazing river front property right on the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge! The cabin was perfect for our size group of two families, 4 adults and 4 kids age range 2-6yo. Greg was a great host, welcomed us as soon as we arrived and was very responsive both leading up to the trip and throughout our stay. Great location for exploring the Blue Ridge and Aska regions, the heated Pool on property is amazing sitting up high with a wonderful green Mountain View backdrop. We will definitely be looking to make this an annual tradition!

Just like home, maybe a little more lovely!

My husband, two daughters, and two rat terriers had the most magical time We had a family reunion with 32 people and 4 houses. Our house, that we thought was the best, would hold 8 comfortably, but we only had 4. It had the most beautiful view from every angle! The hot tub was clean, the home was warm and inviting! Everything worked wonderfully. It even smelled great! We will hopefully stay here again! Thank you Taccoa!!

Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.
