Located 50 feet from the Toccoa River, the cabin has an open floor plan with spectacular architecture, huge decks, waterfall/pond, fire pit, and great views. The two bedrooms on the lower terrace level have a separate exterior entrance, which works great for privacy but is NOT suitable for children sleeping alone.
The cabin is located 50 feet from the banks of the Toccoa River.
The cabin provides access to the shared pool, hot tub, quarter mile of river frontage, trails, and more.
We live nearby and are available as needed.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and we expect all guests to respect reasonable noise standards. Special note: since this cabin is right on the river with large decks on two levels it is CRITICAL for all guests to understand and comply with noise standards. If neighbors across the river or at the cabin next door can hear you, your music, crying children, barking dogs, etc. it is too loud. We are very serious about enforcing this.
We are five minutes from the four lane highway, with access suitable for nearly any vehicle.

This place is such a gem. I stayed here for only two nights but will be staying here a lot more in the future. Super communicative host with a very clean property that has a fabulous view!

William was our best guest ever, who truly gets our vibe!!
We enjoyed the house. It was very clean and the location by the river was very nice. The only thing that gave us a big surprise was that the bedrooms downstairs are not connected via an indoor staircase so those who stayed downstairs had to go outside each time they wanted to go up and down to their rooms. I would’ve appreciated knowing this before we rented the house. Thankfully, this time we were all adults so it wasn’t a big deal except when it rained but if I had had children with me it would’ve been a much bigger problem. Overall I highly recommend the house for adults. A nice amount of room for four, maybe six.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is really nice and the view of the river is beautiful. We really enjoyed the firepit.

Perfect Place for Long Weekend Away with Family
We really enjoyed our stay here: the views, plenty of porch space, room to spread out, community activity centers (outdoor games, pool, green space/trails), close enough to town while feeling miles away, the list could go on and on. Highly recommend!
We so enjoyed the peaceful cabin and surrounding area. It was a very nice cabin; everything was clean and comfortable, and we had everything that we needed for our stay!
Our family of 4 and 2 dogs had a great stay here. The house was very clean and fully stocked with essentials. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful that we hated to leave but will definitely return.
This location was a wonderful combination of quiet seclusion and handiness to town. The cabin is luxurious and beautiful, with just the right combination of size and comfortability. We will definitely return.
This was our second visit and we were all still very impressed. Very clean and neat, Greg is responsive with any questions we ahead before the stay. Location is great, beautiful view of river.
My family of 4 spent a week at the Taccoa River House. The property and home were both excellent, along with the pool and other amenities. Tons to do and less that a 10 min drive from downtown. We would love to come back.
We traveled with our children and grandchildren and had a very relaxing stay. The property and location are beautiful, and the owner is very considerate and tried to take care of any needs we had. We really enjoyed our walks along the trails and sitting on the porch watching the river. The kids also loved the pool and hottub. We had a great time and hope to return for a future visit.
Overall we enjoyed the quick weekend at this house. It was very nicely appointed and well represented in the listing. In the future I would choose a place with a later checkout but it was very clearly mentioned by the host before booking so I still gave it 5 stars.

Thanks for your 5-star review, Frank. The check in and check out times can certainly be adjusted and flexible but it depends on if we have guests checking in and/or out on the same day. Thorough housekeeping and sanitation requires a certain amount of time so if we have a 'turn' on the same day, then late check outs and early check ins are not possible. ~host greg
Everything went so smooth from checking in to checking out. The pictures and summary do not do this property justice. It is absolutely beautiful and luxurious! All of the little "extras" are appreciated such as spices in the kitchen and games. We had a beautiful experience.

We are so happy you loved our place on the river. Best, Toccoa House Properties.
We had an absolutely incredible 4 day stay in this amazing river front property right on the Toccoa River in Blue Ridge! The cabin was perfect for our size group of two families, 4 adults and 4 kids age range 2-6yo. Greg was a great host, welcomed us as soon as we arrived and was very responsive both leading up to the trip and throughout our stay. Great location for exploring the Blue Ridge and Aska regions, the heated Pool on property is amazing sitting up high with a wonderful green Mountain View backdrop. We will definitely be looking to make this an annual tradition!
Wonderful home! We took our adult children and their significant others on a short getaway trip and had an amazing time! We had a total of 8 adults and the home was spacious enough for us not to be on top of each other all the time. The location of the home is very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. The owner of the house was very easy to get in touch with when we had a couple of small issues that were completely out of his control. Would highly recommend renting this lovely home and hopefully we will be able to visit again!
My husband, two daughters, and two rat terriers had the most magical time
We had a family reunion with 32 people and 4 houses. Our house, that we thought was the best, would hold 8 comfortably, but we only had 4. It had the most beautiful view from every angle! The hot tub was clean, the home was warm and inviting! Everything worked wonderfully. It even smelled great!
We will hopefully stay here again!
Thank you Taccoa!!
What a piece of paradise this place is. Location, amenities, comfort, view. Everything about this property was excellent. The host could not have been more prompt in replies to any questions (which were not many). Sitting out on one of the many porches listening to the water in the morning with coffee and at night with wine was perfect! The guys had easy access to the water for some trout fishing. Horseback riding, kayaking, hiking were all within a very short distance and sooo enjoyable!!
Highly recommend this property.

About the host
Hosted by Greg Spencer
Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980’s. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.
Why they chose this property
The property has the absolute best access to the Toccoa River. During construction, we employed the best of our 40 year building experience.
What makes this property unique
Secluded but convenient to town. Walk 50 feet with your fishing rod and cast away.
The two bedrooms and bathroom on the lower terrace level has a separate entrance, which provides great privacy.
