LAKE VIEW Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub & Wood Fireplace!!

Escape to the mountains and enjoy a beautiful view at our quiet lakefront log cabin. You'll feel very secluded, but the cabin is just 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 20 minutes from Ellijay. Whether you're into hiking, tubing, shopping, or dining out, you'll be close to it all! Or... just sit back and relax in the hot tub, read a book by the wood burning fireplace, or roast marshmallows by the fire pit while watching for deer by the lake. There is something here for everyone!

Located on Cherry Log Mountain, Cherry Lake Lookout sits at the end of a quiet dead end street overlooking the lake.

The cabin is approximately 1200 sq ft. It sleeps 6, but may be most comfortable with 4 adults and 2 children. That being said, we have had 6 adults happily stay many times - we just want to be up front on the size.

Amenities:

Cherry Lake Lookout has everything you will need to feel at home in the mountains. The kitchen has a Keurig and a traditional coffeemaker, and the cabin is stocked with kitchen and bathroom basics to get you started, including K-cups, tea, sugar & creamer packets, salt, pepper, oil, laundry and dishwasher detergent pods, and travel sized toiletries. For guests with young children, you will have access to a high chair, pack 'n play, and baby gate for the stairs. The beds are fitted with luxury microfiber sheets and the bath towels are super soft and absorbent.

After a long day of exploring the area, you'll be able to relax in the hot tub, grill up some dinner on the deck, sit around the fire pit making s'mores, and cuddle up in front of the wood burning fireplace.

Entertainment:

The cabin has WiFi fast enough for streaming and 3 Roku TV's so you can access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney accounts. We do not have cable television, but if you would like live TV, you can access your YouTubeTV account (or just get a free trial to use during your stay). If you would rather unplug during your visit, the cabin has board games and playing cards.

Location:

If you decide to venture out to Blue Ridge or Ellijay for shopping or dining, or are looking for some great hiking or a whitewater rafting adventure, Cherry Lake Lookout is perfectly located with easy access.

Things to Note:

Roads to the cabin are all paved. Please abide by the 15MPH speed limit when within the community, as deer sometimes cross the road. 4WD is NOT normally necessary, but on rare snow days it may be needed.

The last 5 minutes is a one lane road, so you may need to pull off to the side a bit if a car comes the other way. We also recommend arriving before night if you are not comfortable with driving on the one lane road, as the road gets dark.

Three cars can fit in the driveway.

Lake can be reached via a short, but somewhat steep, path from the cabin. The walk down/back up may be difficult for some guests or if it rains.

We do have a few security cameras on the outside of the property for peace of mind only. No cameras are inside the cabin.
