Perfect location

We love Sleepy Bear cabin! This is our second time staying here. The home is very clean, has an open floor plan and is located right between Cashiers and Highlands. When we visit our son and his family this is our favorite place to stay!

Relaxing retreat

We enjoyed this property and the location...half way between Highlands and Cashiers. So easy to get to all our favorite places! Cabin was very comfortable, and we loved the wooded setting and quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

Cozy and comfortable

Enjoyed family time in Highlands. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Grandkids loved roasting marshmallows in the wood burning fireplace. Would stay there again.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

Beautiful home and love the location between Cashiers and Highlands! This home is comfortable, very clean and a great space for our visit with our son and grandchildren. The kitchen is better equipped than most rentals and we appreciate all the extra touches! We will be back!

Awesome place. Great location as well.

There were six women who were doing bucket list items. There were enough beds for all of us and three baths so only two people each sharing a bath. The property manager was very accommodating. Everything we needed was there. We just brought groceries! Only one suggestion. A light is needed overhead in the living room. Not enough light there to play games or do a puzzle.

Lori and David do a great job managing this property and are very nice an easy to work with. It is located 10-15 minutes to highlands, or cashiers. We will be back. The place is very clean and the neighborhood is amazing.

The house was awesome. Clean, well appointed and equipped. Three comfortable bedrooms and 3 full baths. Great kitchen with everything we needed. Nice private location. Would stay again for sure

Cozy Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sleepy Bear cottage. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Nice updates in the kitchen and bathrooms and I loved the Bear/Mountain themed decor. Highlands Vacation Rentals was easy to work with and had easy plan when we were running late ( you do have to pick up the house key at their office in Highlands). The home is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to all activities and sites in the Highlands/Cashiers area.

Wonderful home with everything you need for a great Mountain retreat and the location is perfectly situated between Cashiers and Highlands. We loved our stay there and would definitely rent again for the Holidays if they allowed our pups to come ! 😊
