We loved this cozy and welcoming home with a fantastic view to the beach. The home is very close to Seaside town, a grocery store and central for traveling to various sights. We enjoyed the sand beach to walk and explore on from the back yard, and the views from the house and the private nooks to read and watch the ocean were so serene. The close proximity to the town of Astoria and The Lewis and Clark historical sights, as well as Cannon beach for tide pools and coffee was wonderful. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. There was a problem with one of the tubs, so we could only share one shower, but the two bathrooms still had working sinks and toilets and so that was fine for our family. The house is so quiet, private and relaxing. A perfect spot to unwind and unplug.

This house was almost perfect. We wish the fireplace was functional but other than that, it was amazing. Such a great location! The attentions to the details was very much noticed and appreciated. We will definitely be back.

This property was listed as Riverfront, when indeed, it overlooks a desolate piece of ground where the water is only visible if one used binoculars. Additionally, two bedrooms were upstairs (very narrow steps) with only one functional window in each room and no fans or air comforting. It was so hot neither couple who had the upstairs bedrooms were able to sleep. We looked in every closet and storage area trying to find a fan. We also called to ask for help and we got no response.Also, it was poorly stocked - not even dishwashing pods to work the dishwasher, which is part of the check out procedure. We had to buy some to comply with checkout request.If you want a water view, updated amenities or a comfortable nights sleep this isn’t the place for you.

I adore this home. The home has so many lovely touches of old and new. The updates are well done but it keeps all the charm of the original old decor that make the home special. It was very clean and fairly well maintained. There was an issue with the upstairs tub that made it unavailable during our stay, but the manager reached out in advance to warn us, and the repair man was there to fix is as we left at check out. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen appeared well stocked. They had games and puzzles, which are perfect activities in such a place.I did have to reach out to request the check in code since it wasn't sent in advance, but even that interaction was easy and prompt. The property itself is charming. The view overlooks where the river meets a creek and the ocean. We enjoyed watching the birds and exploring the area. The flow was very low since it was the first of July, which made it easy to explore. Overall, we loved our time there and I would happily return for what I hope to be a much longer stay.

This was a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood with a wide open view of the estuary. The bedroom and bath arrangement suited our family well and we enjoyed the living spaces with big windows and plenty of seating. Laundry facilities were provided.

Great location

This house is on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Everything you need in seaside is just blocks away. Beds were comfortable, view is amazing. Really hope to come back to this house.

Perfect Peaceful Location

This house was lovely! The photos do not do the location justice. The inside was well appointed and decorated and obviously very well cared for. We enjoyed the view from the dining room during meals. We only used the two upstairs bedrooms and both had comfortable beds and extraordinary views! We could not have asked for a better location for our sewcation.

Cozy stay

Came with 2 friends for one night if food and friends and a howling wind and rain outside. We were very cozy inside. My only regret was the fireplace said do not use. Slept well and loved the views!

Beautiful horizon..

The main thing I remember is the beautiful view. This SPECTACULAR view could be seen all day.. and from ANY room of the house.. During the day, we would take maybe a 3 to 5 min trip for shopping, eating, or just walking around in the heart of town. In the evening, we gathered around the fire pit and grilled steak bits under the stars. Later we came in and played family games. This place will be marked as a favorite, for my family.

Sibling reunion

We loved this house - stayed here last year same week of September and were excited to be able to return to it this year. This is our yearly sibling reunion with spouses. It fits us perfectly with just right bedrooms, spaces for puzzles, card and yahtzee playing, able to make great meals when we want, and just right seating in living room to watch movies every night. We love having the view, watching tide in and out, all the birds, and being able to see the surf out on the ocean. So close in to town, but so very quiet and great neighbors.

Quiet and relaxing

Very nice stay, close to places to eat and downtown. Easy access to the 101. Profile pictures show fireplace but the fireplace is not allowed to be used. There is a deck but no chairs to sit on. Fire pit no chairs! The upstairs bedroom door would not close, the stairs are very narrow and steep and dark! No grill. The views and location are beautiful and quiet the house is cozy.

A wonderful choice at a great price

For the money, you can't beat it. It is an older home that looks to have had a recent facelift but done so tastefully. There must be a lot of history with this home. FYI, there is no direct access to the beach. You have great access, right off the back steps, to a bay that forms with the high tide. When low, you can go explore and dig for clam right off the back steps! Highly recommend and would likely book another trip here undoubtedly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
