Woodland Vacations Little Owl Chalet is a charming small home with a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain located in Wilmington, NY. This new construction vacation rental is minutes from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. We provide a cozy rental near all the wonders of the Adirondacks. Little Owl sits in a quiet area that is walking distance to some of our popular local spots. Close to skiing, hiking trails, mountain bike trails and fishing. Walking distance to local chocolate treats, to the beach where you can swim and kayak or just walk across the street to the local pub to get food and drinks. Ironman race passes right by our rental property and is also minutes from the Poormans Mountain Bike trail.
Little Owl Chalet is a two bedroom and one bath home. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a balcony that has a stunning view of whiteface mountain and the sunset. You will be greeted by our two wooden owls on the railing with Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our second bedroom has a full Adirondack bed with wooden view. The house has plenty of outlets for all your plug in needs. Little Owl accommodates 2-4 people comfortably. The first floor has an open concept and allows the space to feel much larger. The kitchen is stocked with the basics and includes fridge, oven/range, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker to make a quick meal to enjoy there or on the go. The large windows in the livingroom provides wonderful light and awesome views. The bathroom has good space and rustic charm to it with the wine barrel sink. Our home is equiped with wireless internet. Little owl is non-smoking and pet friendly. Each room has a flat screen tv's for your viewing pleasure. Each room includes air conditioning and is well heated for the winter. The chalet is fully furnished by our own Woodcutter Rustic and Woodland Designs. You will find our tiny home has all the Adirondack charm throughout.
The Little Owl grounds is an open but wooded area. It has a great space for parking. Off the deck you will find a charcoal grill for that summer BBQ. Next to the house is a five person hot tub. In the middle of the property sits a large fire pit with Adirondack seating. You will not be disappointed in this relaxing atmosphere with stunning views.

The cabin is on a nice lot with a beautiful mountain view, in a convenient location to trails and the Ausible river. We were disappointed to find out that the washer and grill are broken, and the bed in the second bedroom has a broken box spring. Also, the hot tub had to be cleaned so was not ready until the second evening. Otherwise the cabin was fine, and we enjoyed our time in the Adirondacks.

We had a wonderful visit to Wilmington thanks to this rental! It's so hard to find a nice pet friendly place to stay, and this house was exactly what we were looking for! We stayed two nights to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary.We enjoyed the beautiful views and hot tub. The bed was very cozy and the AC units kept the house cool on the hot days- we got lucky with great weather! The house is extremely clean and you can tell the hosts take pride in their property.This house is close to everything, especially pet friendly hikes! We went to Flume Falls and Cobble Lookout. Both were incredible and we highly recommend them! We had breakfast in Jay at the Adirondack Mountain Coffee Cafe and dinner at the Hungry Trout. Both were amazing and would go back in a heartbeat! We also had a couples massage at Healing Elements in Lake Placid which was just incredible! An amazing short trip! We loved every minute of it and thank the hosts for giving us a great place to stay!

Exceptional location. Feels like you’re far from civilization but it’s just around the corner. Very cozy cottage, especially during the negative temperatures. Stayed so nice and warm. Gorgeous view! Not really a great hanging out in the cottage but looks like lots of fun outdoor spots to enjoy.

Whiteface weekend

We stayed here for a 3 day weekend at Whiteface. Perfect for our needs. And much closer to Whiteface than staying in Lake Placid.

Location was great, very close to whiteface. Place had what we needed. My only issue is rhe the spare bedroom bed, it was not great at all. The mattress was old and hsr a foam cover in it that shifted around. That room needs a new mattress. Can get a really cheap one on amazon that comes in a box .

Everything was great, the only complaint would be that the main bed Is not comfortable. It feels like it dips down in the center, so being a stomach sleeper I had trouble sleeping because I could not lay flat.

Wonderful location, really cute cabin

Family of four for a summer stay, the location was perfect. Close to whiteface and a quick 22 minute drive to lake placid. Wilmington beach is cute and loved the chocolate shop on the corner. My kids named it “the owl house” and gave a name to each owl!
