Great Mountain Getaway

Thank you Trisha for a wonderful stay! We loved your cabin, used all your fun toys (Karaoke, Hot Tub, etc.) and enjoyed a chill ski weekend. Trisha was a wonderful host and Mike, the care keeper, was discrete when servicing the hot tub.

A Woodsy Paradise

I recently stayed at Trisha’s chalet for a Bachelorette party and she went above and beyond for Team Bride. Everything about the chalet (space, decor, amenities) made our experience as fun and cozy as possible and Trisha was available to answer every question we had along the way. Would definitely visit again!

Loved proximity to cute, nearby town, Tannersville. Just minutes from Hunter Mountain. Easy to get back-and-forth to ski, even multiple times per day. Trisha is a super detailed and communicative host and is in constant contact leading up to and throughout your stay.

Beautifully decorated house. Trish, the host, was amazing and kept in constant contact before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The home has a nice ski chalet feel with a cozy fireplace, wood-paneled walls, etc. Just about everything you need from kitchen utensils to board games are provided. The location was just a few minutes from Hunter Mountain so a perfect spot for a ski trip.

Amazing Christmas Family Getaway

We booked this property for a family reunion in the area. This property was as pictured and more! The host communication was stellar 🌟! amazing home, amazing host

We had such a wonderful time at this home. Hottub is a must. The backyard is incredible - in noncovid times I could imagine a huge party, but for now, small family really got to enjoy themselves. Trisha the host, who is THE BEST, provides you with so many small touches to make the place feel festive - left a huge box of snacks and notes upon our welcome, even some beer :). extra towels, delicious showers. It was the perfect pandemic getaway and we will definitely be back!

The best hostess!

The property is beautiful as are all of the things in it. Trisha really goes above and beyond with extras in a great way. She supplies tons of information about the area, some goodies, fun monthly themed items for the kids (& big kids). Two families stayed at the home during my visit, mine and friends including 3 11 year olds. We were all so happy to find everything we needed and more. We are talking about making it a yearly trip and would certainly stay here again.

Amazing home with lots of activities/great host!

Trisha was the best host I’ve rented from thus far and made the trip so enjoyable and memorable!! She provided fun details leading up to the trip and decorated the home once we got there to make it really special. Her home was decked out with bored games, a stereo, hot tub, etc so it was impossible to be bored. The entire group wants to go back bc of the fun experience, and we feel very fortunate to have rented this place!! Awesome stay and highly recommend!!! Thanks again Trisha!!!!

Great Property - Host Went Above & Beyond

The property was as advertised, complete with a fire pit & fire starter kit, fully stocked kitchen, grill and great lounge area. My group also took advantage of a 15 minute drive to Kaaterskill Falls for a great hike to a waterfall and a 5 minute drive to Hunter Mountain Brewery. Most notably, Trish went above and beyond four our July Independence Day theme to really spruce up the character of the house. She was great with communication throughout the process. I would certainly recommend this house for a group of 3-4 couples or a family looking for a nice weekend getaway.

Amazing mountain chalet!!

This place was incredible! I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends and Trish pulled out all of the surprises! The place is easy to get to and very quiet and peaceful. She is the BEST communicator and she was so great the entire time. She had birthday decorations and so many cool props and little surprises all around the house. The hot tub is like brand new and awesome! Great backyard space with fire pit and deck with tons of seating. We will definitely be back, maybe in the summer time to enjoy all of the outdoors activities nearby. Don’t pass up this opportunity, it was very nice!

Wonderful memories

The owner is a delight. The home is immaculate and geographically convenient to all Hunter has to offer. We loved staying here and would never book anywhere else when returning to Hunter. The personal touches and effort the owner puts forth, to ensure her renters are comfortable and happy, is superior and made a huge impact immediately upon arrival. Once you arrive, you feel at home and at ease. The vacation begins the second you pull in the driveway and see the whimsical lights and hear the music coming from the deck. There wasn't one negative thing I could say. Well done and thank you.

Owners/caretaker lives on the premises.

Motion cameras near the jacuzzi. 1000 rules that you have to follow posted all over the house. God forbid you brake one of them, the owner/caretaker will knock on your door. They live above the garage. At the end of the stay you will have to take your garbage! Location is very good but NOT private.

Such a great weekend at Trisha's Chalet

Trisha went above and beyond for my bachelorette weekend. We pulled up to music playing on the outdoor speakers and she had the whole house set up with Bachelorette decorations. It was a dream to walk into. The house was so clean, too! There was so much she did for us, but I wouldn't want to ruin any surprises for future guests. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we were only there for 2 days, so we didn't have time to set a fire up in the fire pit because we were to busy singing Karaoke, but would have if we had more time. Us 6 girls had a blast and Trisha and her chalet will be apart of a forever memory.

A Great Way to End the Summer

Our party of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) spend five nights at this property for end of summer getaway. Our stay was just about perfect! The house was incredibly clean and well-appointed. In this COVID-19 environment, we appreciated the extra steps Trish has taken to ensure a safe stay - including contactless check-in and check-out and daily attention to the jacuzzi (Mike would come and go each day without disturbing us in anyway). While the house itself was great to be at, the general area had no shortage of things to do. Our group traveled up to Greenville for a drive-in movie, we went to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, Phoencia, and tried several dining options in Hunter, Tannersville, Windham, etc. - there was no shortage of things to do or places to eat and shop! Not all restaurants were open every day due to the time of season and COVID-19 restrictions - but we had no issues finding places. We'd definitely love to come back to the area and this house specifically!

Great Experience

The home was extremely clean/orderly and exactly as described, if not better. It is very obvious Trisha puts a lot of time and resources into making her guests feel welcome. The home was decorated, inside and out, with a Valentine's Day theme. This was fun, and we found out the theme changes each month. The location is also very convenient, and still offers plenty of privacy. Hunter Mountain, restaurants/bars, grocery store, shops, gas stations are all very close. There is also Mike, the caretaker, who resides above the garage which has it's own entrance away from guests of the home. Mike makes sure everything runs smoothly, walkways and driveway cleared, hot tub cleaned every morning, etc. And, somehow he does all this while rarely being seen. Our trip would not have been as enjoyable without his efforts, especially with the snow fall each day. Our group is already looking forward to a return trip.

Clean, Cozy, Comfortable… Spacious! Prime Location + SUPER host!

We wanted to get away from the city for a cozy mountain weekend and Trish provided us with that and more! Her property is in a prime location… secluded in the scenic mountains while being just minutes from the slopes, downtown shops, the brewery and more views ! Her home is as cozy as they come … stocked with every item you may need and then some!!! It is spacious both inside and out. Not to mention it was clean and Covid conscious! Trish provided us with tips, hints, coupons, and fun! She answered any question I had in a timely manner and was beyond helpful. Aside from the fun we had at the slopes and in town… Trisha’s board games, hot tub, karaoke speaker, etc. kept the fun going while inside enjoying the snow and views. OH WAIT I almost forgot the amazing decorations and music that we’re waiting for us upon our arrival… Trish takes the time to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, special, and right at home. I cannot recommend this property enough!!! Trish, thank you for the fun, the memories… everything- we can’t wait to book again!

Fantatsic!!!

The house was magnificent. I came with my family of 8 and we had plenty of room. The house was elegant and cozy. Blankets, pillow and beds were all comfortable and high quality and not an issue. Kitchen was super. We were there for a long weekend and enjoyed making a fire outside and just chilling to the music. You wouldn't think it is a big deal, but the outside speakers really enhanced being outside by the fire. There were so many interesting books and decorations about Buddha and Hindu Culture that my weekend was almost a learning experience. That doesn't mean that we didn't watch TV and a couple of movies. : ) The TV and cable worked great. The house is a 4 minute drive to the center of town (and 25 minute walk). We spent a lot of time hiking, taking pictures, and just enjoying the scenery. Trischa went out of her way to make everything very personalized and fun. I would highly recommend.

Xmas at Hunter Mountain

No one does a better job of communicating with their guests for their upcoming stay! Trish gave us all the information we needed and more. After arriving in white out conditions, the caretaker spent hours ensuring our safety - very responsive. The home worked so well for our family - plenty of space. Location was very convenient to the mountain. Everything was beautifully decorated for the season. It was a great visit! Our only thought: we need to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful deck and outside activities!

The best hidden treasure of Hunter Mtn area

We promise to be back! The house was amazing, clean and very comfortable. Nothing was missing for our long weekend stay. Trisha was very helpful, informative and reachable with quick responses during and before our stay. She wanted to make sure we had access to all that we needed to make our weekend the best it possibly could be. We enjoyed the new state of the art hot tub, the surrounding new decks, and the easy 4 min drive to the slopes of Hunter Mtn. We had a snow storm that weekend , of about 8-9inches, and the drive and steps were cleaned every 2 hours, we were impressed! Trisha, we can not wait to come back and enjoy this private home get away again! Many thanks!

Outstanding Experience at Hunter Mountain!

Listing was perfect for two families to share, very close to the mountain, immaculately clean and very cozy chalet. Very well stocked, honestly Trish thinks of everything including things beyond your expectations. The kids loved the special St. Patty's Day themed surprises as well as the hot tub, karoke machine, pary lights, etc. Our welcome basket was awesome and unexpected. I've never seen such a clean house before. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again. I highly recommend this rental. Trish was a great hostess!!
