Fox's Den is a fantastic place to stay in the Gatlinburg area. It was cozy, clean, has a great deck with rocking chairs and a hot tub, what a place! We stayed here to explore Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We saw bears around the neighborhood as we drive back to the house in the evening. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a truly lovely home. It's in a quiet neighborhood and it's well-stocked. The beds and couches are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, and we enjoyed using the hot tub.
This cabin is by far my favorite one in this area. It is close to Gatlinburg and the Arts and Crafts area as well as Pigeon Forge. Everything we needed was there, even a high chair for the baby! The entire house was cozy and clean. We will definitely be returning.
Beautiful, convenient mountain getaway! Wr love the entire home and property, it was clean and sticked and beautiful! Thw hot tub was hot, the towels were soft, the dishes were organized. It was a home away from home for our family to enjoy Gatlinburg. Thank you!
Entire cabin was amazing. It was beautiful. The atmosphere was beautiful. Close to everything we needed. Very clean and cozy. Felt like being home. The hot tub was a very much needed part of the stay. Nice hot and relaxing.
We loved the cabin!! Great location and very cozy feel. Bathroom was very comfortable as well. We already want to go back!! My wife couldn't say enough great things!!
Wonderful time during our first stay in Gatlinburg. The house was cozy and relaxing. Comfortable beds and the house was well equipped. Near everything.
Fox's Den was exactly as described. Extremely clean throughout, comfy beds, and well-stocked kitchen. Four-burner gas grill, and squeaky clean hot tub. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Be aware that driving the access road is not for the faint-of-heart if you are arriving after dark, as it is narrow and winding with deep drop-offs.
The cabin was exactly as pictured, super clean, and a great location so getting to all the spots we wanted was easy. It was so peaceful and quiet at night too. The owners left clear checkout instructions and responded almost immediately the few times I messaged them. 10/10 experience
The cabin was beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at night, and there was a lot of storage! We really appreciated the big rooms and plenty of closet space. The cabin was also very clean. We would definitely come again. Thank you for an amazing week!
My husband and i absolutely loved this cabin. It was very clean, the directions were very clear, the host was amazing with communication on what all we needed to do for our stay. We will definitely be returning to this cabin. 10/10 loved it!
Our stay at the Foxs Den was wonderful! The house was very clean, well maintained and stocked with just about everything we needed. Relaxing in the hottub after a day of hiking was perfect! The area was very peaceful. We did see a black bear walk through the yard one night! We would definitely recommend the Foxs Den for a great get-a-way in the mountains!
It was a cozy cabin with trees all around. We enjoyed the bbq and hot tub. The location was quiet and close to Gatlinburg. We went to Anakeesta and the Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge.
It was very clean. Was only there at night due to being out seeing the sights and looking for bears.

About the host
Hosted by Harold and Joyce Bernard
We’re the Bernards, the owners of Fox’s Den. We purchased the cabin because our daughter lives in Gatlinburg, and we wanted a place close to her family that we could also share as a rental. We’re retired and reside in southwest Virginia. Our daughter, Cyndi, will be handling most of the communication. She’s happy to answer any questions and would love to share recommendations for her family’s favorite restaurants, activities, and hiking trails.
Why they chose this property
Location truly sets this home apart! Nestled in the heart of the Arts and Crafts Community, it’s still just a convenient drive to Gatlinburg. Best of all, there are no steep hills or winding roads to navigate to reach the property. The cabin is exceptionally comfortable and feels more like a home than a typical rental.
