The location is about half a block from the beach and restaurants, which was great to be able to walk there with kids. The rental had everything, even a wagon to bring stuff to the beach. Also enjoyed the outdoor table for meals.
Janet was great and the location could not have been better. We are former residents of the area and this really was such a gem. Especially awesome was the super thoughtful beach set up with wagon!
Janet was a wonderful and responsive host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. I appreciate her communication and her kindness and highly recommend her Alki home.
We had a great stay at the Alki Beach house. The neighborhood is wonderful, what a unique part of Seattle. We walked the beach, ate at local restaurants and rode bikes along the bike path. It was so convenient to take the water taxi to the pier and the Sounders game. Janet was so nice to meet us on arrival and has taken great care to make the stay special. I would definitely return!
We loved the location of Alki Beach House. We were able to ride our bikes to Pikes Market, walk for miles along the beach, ride the water taxi. We will stay again while in the area.
We have stayed in downtown Seattle a few times but wanted something different this time. The Alki Beach house was a great place to stay. The house it self met all of our expectations from cleanliness, amenities, comfort, and location. Close to the beach, close to restaurants and close to the free shuttle that takes you to the ferry for downtown Seattle. We highly recommend that you stay here. You won't be disappointed!
Wonderful experience! We will certainly come again! Hostess delightful! Home was spotless and very comfortable!Thank You, Judy and Foster DuncanJune 2027
Great little rental. The host was responsive and met us for the initial walk through. Parking was on the street and difficult during the day but pretty easy after dark. We loved how close it was to the beach and the location was great for what we needed. We would rent again!
The cottage is cozy, clean, and comfortable! The host, Janet, was great! Fantastic location for access to downtown while still enjoying the “beach life”in Alki Beach.
This was our fourth stay and we always enjoy coming back! Janet had decked the place out for the festive season and it was a lovely welcome when we arrived.
Within walking distance of beach, restaurants, and arcade. Property host was super helpful in explaining everything about the property and how to get around Alki. It was nice to have a kitchen stocked with all appliances and dishes. Coffee and tea was provided by host.
Second time staying at Alki house, and hopefully not the last. Clean, convenient, comfortable, and classic. No real worries with the street parking, it always worked out just fine.
This house may be on the tiny side, but it is very well lit and laid out! It was a perfect place for my family to spend a couple days to end an Alaskan cruise before heading home. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed, and the washer and dryer were very needed at that point in our trip. The location couldn't be better - Alki Beach is a gem of a community with a nice beach and plenty of tasty sounding restaurants and watering holes just a short walk away. We only had enough time to try a few places, but each one was excellent - Future Primitive Brewing, El Chupacabra Alki (Mexican), and Blue Moon Burgers. We also went to Gyros on Alki for ice cream. Our young kids certainly were happy with everything. Janet was extremely gracious to us and worked around our schedule as she was able to. We would definitely consider this place in the future.
