What drew us to this place was that we could hear the ocean calling us from our private deck and then be digging our toes in the sand after a 2 minute walk to the nearest boardwalk leading to the beach. We hope that you and your family will also be drawn to our recently renovated family friendly end-unit villa for these reasons and so much more. Relaxation and creating beautiful memories is our hope for you as you rest and take advantage of the fantastic location of this West Beach villa, just a short bike or car ride to Freshfields Market and a charming town center full of restaurants, premier shops and services.

Our bright, spacious open living and dining area are ideal for your family and friends to unwind on the comfy couch, play a board game, and/or convene at the dining table to share a meal. Our kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and bakeware and even a new dual function coffeemaker. You can enjoy your beverage on the back deck as the sun peaks through the tall trees or on a quiet evening. The three bedrooms all have attached bathrooms which have been updated with modern tiles, vanities and soothing large rainshower heads. Although our villa has beds for 6 people, there is a modular sofa to accommodate at least 1 more person. With 1500 sq ft, one bedroom on the first floor and two on the second, there is plenty of room to enjoy each othersā€™ company but then seclude oneself for some ā€œmeā€ time!

Kiawah Island is unique in that it is a gated, safe and secluded sanctuary. Our villa is in a part of the island where there is the easiest access to the main entrance, Freshfields Village Market and you are just minutes away from The Sanctuary and Night Heron Park. The newly built Cougar Point clubhouse and the Conference center are a few minutes walk away. The proximity to the beach is the most attractive attribute of this villa, just a two minute walk to the boardwalk leading to 10-miles of sandy beach. Bike rental companies are available and the bike path before the Sandcastle takes you straight to the beach in a minute.

The owner was extremely accommodating, responsive and easy to work with. The listing claims newly renovated however the furniture is dated and the deck furniture rusted and dirty. The walls are also in dire need of a coat of paint. The location was excellent offering a short walk to the beach.The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet and pretty neighborhood. We will stay here again at some point .

So close to the beach is 100%accurate. Just quick 4 min door to sand!. Quiet neighborhood bike to everything. Saw so much wildlife from alligators, snakes, deer and more. We are all about wildlife. Took a shelling expedition that was amazing. The home had everything we needed towels, kitchen ware, cleaning supplies for laundry and kitchen. We needed nothingā€¦maybe a few more days. Beach was incredible waves soooo calm.

Lovely, comfortable home with everything you need. We loved that we could walk to the beach, we enjoyed nearby Freshwater Village, a deer passing through the backyard was a surprise treat and coming across the nesting turtle patrol on the beach was a real treat too! Weā€™ll be back.

As promised, the villa had enough room and was well located, with quick access to the beach. The owner was responsive to initial emails and helpful with information. But overall, our experience was disappointing. When we arrived (well after check in time) a man answered the door and said he wasn't quite done with everything yet, but we should come in. We had groceries melting and did. We waited while he went to put sheets on the beds and finish drying the towels. he said he would bring more towels later; each bathroom got 2 and 1 washcloth. The towels never arrived. The ones we had were thin and had HOLES in them. He did come by the next day and dropped off toilet paper and paper towels - but until then we only had what little was left over from the previous guests. The kitchen appliances were dirty. Two bedrooms had lightbulbs missing. The downstairs bathroom had a urine stain on the toilet; also, the body wash was empty. Upstairs, switch plate covers in the children's room were loose. In the kitchen, so many random food items were left by previous guests that the pantry was basically unusable. This property would benefit from some monitoring as summer goes on. We will not stay here again.

Renovated and convenient Villa

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The property was immaculateā€”clean, beautifully renovated, and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. The owner was also incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to help with special requests and ensure our stay was seamless. Highly recommend!

Great, aside from smoke detector issue

The first day of our trip was quite stressful because the two downstairs smoke detectors were extremely sensitive to humidity from the front door and first floor shower and went off repeatedly all evening which wouldn't let us or our kids sleep. (We tried to be mindful of not keeping the front door open too long as we brought our luggage in because the owner gave us a heads up about the issue. However I think our evening showers put them over the edge and caused them to go off) We had to take the batteries out. After that, our trip was enjoyable -it is a perfect location, very short walk to the beach, nicely decorated, and cozy family room to hang out to escape the heat of the day. Host's recommendations were great. Would just suggest you verify the smoke detectors have been moved/changed/somehow fixed before booking because aside from that issue, it was a great place!

New Year's Eve on Kiawah!

Wonderful townhouse so close to beach the sound of the waves gently put you to sleep. The owner made the process seamless, was exceedingly accessible and was spot on with recommendations (the bike rental folks were great!).

Excellent Comfort Experience

We had an amazing stay at this house! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living spaces were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Literally walking distance to the beach, we enjoyed daily sunrises The host was incredible amazing, responsive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. This place is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful and unforgettable experience. I couldnā€™t recommend it more! Weā€™re already looking forward to our next visit!

We have happily settled to the South after spending our lives in the cooler Northeast. We love the outdoors and the serene landscapes of Kiawah to decompress. Friends and family are most precious to us and we love bringing them to our villa.

We needed a place so that we could be enjoying the beach within a few minutes of our villa. The nearest boardwalk is a 2 minute walk so there is minimal to no whining from the kids. :) We love the feeling of seclusion that this end-unit villa gives us yet we are so close the beach and other amenities. One of the most convenient locations in Kiawah!

The floor plan provides comfort and much needed privacy for all who stay. Each bedroom is attached to a bathroom and has walk-in closets. We love that we can snuggle at home or be on the beach in minutes, ultimately relaxing and enjoying this gated island. Our property is in a coveted location with the easiest access to the beach and conference center.
