Hidden Gem

Loved this cottage! We had family stay in the back cottage on Elise’s property over Thanksgiving. The cottage has everything you need. The locations is the best and close to shopping, night life and facilities (parks and playgrounds) for those with small children. The unit is charming and very cozy! Elise was an amazing host! She really goes above and beyond! Plus she is very quick to respond and communicate with you for should you have any special requests. We’ll be booking here again!

The name says it all

Serenity in CDM is a fantastic find. The property is an oasis with private outdoor space, yet it is within walking distance of great restaurants and the beach. Watching the sunset nightly over the ocean should not be missed! Elise has everything you need at the property to help make a relaxing vacation. We cannot wait to stay again in the future!

A perfect cottage

Our stay was just perfect. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. You have complete privacy and can enjoy looking at the gorgeous gardens and coy pond. There is a lovely patio just outside the master bedroom. Every detail in the decor is well thought out is fantastic The owner is very gracious and is helpful if you should need anything. We will return.

Beautiful Cottage with Fantastic Host

Lovely! My daughter and I stayed ten days at this cute cottage. The cottage has everything and more! Also it is within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. Five minutes to Fashion Island shopping center and 20 minutes from the Airport. Our host Elise was beyond fantastic and helpful. I'd rebook my next time in town.

A fabulous and calm place to land

This is a sweet abode in a fabulous location. It was clean, beautifully decorated and had very nice amenities. The outdoor spaces are so calming, and Alys was very sweet in her communication and support. Highly highly recommend!!

Perfect Oasis

We loved this spot! Elise was amazing with all her tips for Restaurants. Her place is spotless. Has all the accommodations and little extras you need but don’t expect. It is tranquil and very “zen”. Loved it so much we are already planning our trip back again. Can not recommend highly enough how fantastic this location is to everything. Restaurants, beaches, and a plus was it is very close to family. Thank you Elise for making our first trip to sunny California an amazing one. See you soon!

A Hidden Oasis

What a beautiful property and lovely host. I could not have dreamt up a better place. If you are coming to this area for any reason, this place is an absolute MUST STAY. I wish I could live here year round. Every nook and cranny has been so well thought out and planned with much love. Thank you for such a great visit- couldn’t have been any better!!

Perfect Beach cottage

Elise was a wonderful host who went out of her way to think of every single detail - the kitchen was fully stocked, house perfectly clean, and there were even beach chairs and umbrellas to use. We stayed in the back house but felt like we were in our own oasis with a private courtyard. Definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful Cottage in Corona Del Mar

I’ve rented many properties through VRBO....and this is by far the best, in every category! Alys, the property manager, is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her cottage is beautifully appointed and very clean. She is a great resource for things to do in the area, as well as provides a generous welcome of wine, cheese and goodies. This was my second visit and I’ll be back again!

Beautiful, Peaceful Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed four nights at this immaculate, well-provisioned retreat. Alys thinks of everything. We had travel delays and there was a delicious little feast waiting for us when we were finally able to check in. The photos show how well the cottage is decorated, but what's hard to imagine is how great it is to have both a totally private courtyard plus a lovely entry area with chairs and a small grill. And the location is perfect for walking to all the places that make Corona del Mar so special.

Amazing Cottage

We were greeted by Alysa upon our arrival. She was the perfect host, providing us with everything we would need for a wonderful, relaxing stay. We enjoyed the lovely landscape and sitting in our courtyard. The home is well stocked for cooking. Very comfortable and welcoming.

Charming cottage in CDM

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The cottage is pristine, with modern updates, exceptional amenities (even robes and slippers!) and was extremely comfortable. Alys was a joy to work with and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She made sure we always had everything we needed and more. We will be back.

This was the best rental we have stayed at. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and had lovely up-to-date decor. The ammenities are perfect; Alys has thought of everything, and then some. Not only that, everything is either new or in perfect condition. Most impressive with our stay, however, was communication and service from Alys. From the very beginning to the very end, she was willing and eager to help us prepare for our stay and activities while we were there. She went above and beyond!! Hello, and thank you for considering my Cottage!

I developed a love for Corona del Mar Village decades ago and had always wanted to live near the beach. But I wasn't sure if I'd be able to adjust to the density, and especially, live without a "real" garden....Then I was fortunate enough to find this unique property - Three original CDM cottages on a Double-lot! It was a scary project that would require a TON of time and effort, but I could envision the end result.

After a lot of hard work and a huge learning curve, it somehow transformed into my original vision.

Looking back, I can't believe I actually pulled it off - ONLY because I was stubborn and inexperienced enough to ignore virtually EVERYONE'S advice. But, I am fairly confident that if you decide to stay here, you will be happy that I did!

To most who live here, the density and lack of privacy are the trade-offs people must accept in exchange for living in one of the best towns on Earth.
