Tucked away in El Cajon, this flashback retreat features a private yard, BBQ grill, and the perfect setup for laid-back spring evenings. From the funky blue exterior to the cozy interior touches, Bettie brings the fun for a one-of-a-kind escape.
**Bettie Blue Retro Retreat**
Your one-of-a-kind RV adventure awaits between the Laguna Hills and the coast of San Diego, nestled in sunny East County. Glamp in style with the 2019 Retro Riverside trailer, featuring modern amenities combined with mid-century teardrop design. Bettie Blue comfortably sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. A designated parking spot is just steps from the trailer. Come enjoy flashback fun in a Retro RV!
Cozy and Comfortable
Bettie Blue offers approximately 144 square feet of cozy living space, including:
- A Queen walk-around bed for two adults
- A dining table that converts into a compact twin bed for one small adult or two small children
- Dining area, refrigerator with freezer, and a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker (pods or ground coffee), small propane stove, microwave, hot plate, and toaster oven
- Basic kitchen essentials, including cups, plates, wine opener, and silverware
- Bathroom with a very small shower, stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and RV toilet paper
- Ice-cold A/C, high-speed Wi-Fi, TV with Amazon Firestick, DVD, and stereo
Outdoor Serenity
Relax outside at your private sitting area featuring:
- A propane firepit for cozy evenings under the stars
- Charcoal BBQ for grilling
- Comfortable seating on your personal patio
House Rules and Policies
Additional Cleaning Fee:
-An additional $100 cleaning fee will be applied for stays over 20 days.
-We welcome one well-behaved dog for a $75 pet fee (no cats or other pets, please).
-Dogs are not allowed to be left in the trailer at any time. You must take your dog with you whenever you leave the property.
- Quiet hours: 9 PM to 9 AM
- No parties or events
- Maximum occupancy: 4 people (including guests visiting the yard)
- Parking: 1 small car only. Larger vehicles must use street parking
- Guests staying over 7 days are responsible for additional paper towels, trash bags, and coffee after using the starter pack provided.
- **NO flushable wipes are allowed in the toilets**. Fees will be charged for clogged plumbing due to improper disposal

This is a private property with a main residence where the host lives, two RVs, and a tiny home. Bettie Blue is located next to another retro trailer, Darling Daisy. During your stay, other guests may be staying in Darling Daisy or the tiny home. Please be mindful of noise and respect each other’s designated parking and yard areas.

I'm Atalanta! I am a florist by trade and work incredibly hard creating beautiful wedding flowers for many happy couples in San Diego! I live with my daughter, my partner Josh and our doggies, Freddie and Luna! We absolutely love spending time in Ocean Beach. It is a part of town that is eclectic and unlike any other part of San Diego! I actually work in my floral studio right next to my house "La Casa Turquesa" and I love being close by to help my guests if needed.
Why they chose this property
I love everything VINTAGE!! I have a 1965 Chevy Corvair convertible that i love to cruise around town with my daughter. Once day I was driving to Sedona, AZ and saw the coolest retro RV's parked at a dealer on the side of the freeway. I became obsessed with these "Retro Riverside RV's"!! I just had to have one! After some searching, I purchased Miss Bettie Blue. She was PERFECT! I loved that she was brand new, sparkling clean and has all the amenities that a person could want! Staying in an RV is a unique and fun experience. I grew up doing this with my parents and I thought it would be so cool to share this experience with other people! Miss Bettie Blue is the perfect way to experience a bit of retro living with all the modern amenities we love when we are traveling.
