We enjoyed our stay, the house is very nice and comfortable. I would recommend a mirror on the back of the door in the bedroom with the single beds. I stayed in that bedroom and had to go to the bathroom for makeup and hair procedures. We enjoyed the little heaters as they kept our rooms toasty warm. We enjoyed the deck and rocking chairs and would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect location for anything around Lake Junaluska. Older home nestled in the mountains just 1/2 mile from the Outfitters parking lot. House is a bit odd with the entrance on the bottom floor and the living area up top. Narrow internal steps but there are outside steps directly up. Strange chair in the “closet” of downstairs bedroom. Could use more lighting as the overheads are not bright, particularly in the dining room or living room. Parking is a major challenge. With a portion blocked off, there’s just barely room for one large vehicle or 2 small as the house is very close to the lane. Fantastically appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook. Incredible porch upstairs overlooking mostly trees. Queen beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. Very clean. Very thoughtful notes and little extras throughout.

We really enjoyed this house. It was clean, totally stocked with essentials and close to where we wanted to be. The description described it as 4 bedrooms. It is 3 bedrooms and we made it work because one bedroom had twin beds. The lock box was very difficult. We finally asked a neighbor for help opening the lock box and we could not leave the key in the lock box because again, we could not get it open. We will definitely rent this place again if we come to the area.

We were so excited to stay here. From the moment we walked in, we knew it would be the perfect place for our family. There was a hand written welcome note and snacks and candy which our teenage children loved. The rooms and size of the house in addition to the location to the ski slopes was perfect for us. Unfortunately we had some plumbing issues on day two that lasted until we left the next morning.

Great half a week getaway!

I rented this place for my parents and sister because sadly I got stuck at work. They had an amazing experience and were able to get away from the day to day hustle and bustle. They are now looking at properties in that area!

Weekend wedding get away

While i did not stay personally at this property (we rented 3 houses for family) my sister+ husband , my niece + husband, and my son spoke very highly of the property. My interaction with the owner was easy and appreciated. It was a fantastic weekend.

Thank you!

We absolutely loved staying at this little get away is Lake J! The only thing we had problems with was the coffee pot didn’t work. However that made us get out and find things to do in the area. Thank you Wade and Krissy for this amazing birthday weekend!
