A wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful mountains. The seclusion, the front porch, the hot tub and the views provided a much needed break. The cabin is well appointed and welcoming - would definitely stay again when in the area!

Our stay was fantastic! The property was exactly as described and everything worked well. The house was very clean and well-stocked with linens, towels, games and books. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and my kids are already asking to book this home again!

The property and area was exactly what we required for a 46ish year get together. Quite, rural and secluded. The kitchen and rooms were comfortable without too much excess.Our hostess provided timely information and responded quickly to any inquiry.

We didn’t want to leave this amazing historical property. We appreciated the quality of the furnishings, the beautiful views, and the peacefulness of the location. We enjoyed hiking up to the summit of Elk Knob as well as some shorter hikes in the area. We would definitely book again!

Great cabin for a weekend getaway!

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was secluded and the had a great cabin feel on the inside. The hottub was a nice feature as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

This place was an absolute gem! The host, Jennifer was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble accessing the wifi upon arrival and she worked with us to ensure we got connected. The cabin itself was so rustic and beautiful. Everything was well stocked and well labeled. It felt like we'd been transported back in time, but with all the creature comforts and amenities of modern day living. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway into the mountains.

Cozy, mountain cabin with Wonder fall colors views around, peaceful. Great kitchen, family get together was amazing. Retro decor was so cool to teach the kids about different things. Host was wonderful with quick communication and help. Overall a great stay, highly recommend.

Amazing cabin

My wife and kids stayed the weekend at this cabin and words can’t explain how nice the cabin is and it’s secluded but still only 20 minutes to town if you need anything. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Great place to stay

Had an amazing time and enjoyed staying at this authentic log cabin with all the amenities! There's no central AC, but the window units and mountain temperatures kept it nice! Will return again!
