The petting zoo was such a whimsical experience and the animals were all sweet. Ziplining across the river was so adventure-provoking. Will definitely become a staple rental property to visit while in NC

Yay, so happy you were able to enjoy everything we created at the farm! It’s just 2.3 miles away! 🤗
We had a great time staying at the gingerbread house while exploring the area and going snowtubing. The house was very clean, perfect size and layout for our family. The animals were a special bonus the kids will always remember ❤

So happy you made your way 2 miles up the road to the farm - its such a special place!!!
We had a great time at the Gingerbread House. Beds were comfy. We had everything we needed. It was fun to watch the butterflies, humming birds, and cows. The kids loved rolling down the hill in front. We had quite a lot of rain that stopped some of our outdoor plans. We got to go to the farm for a short while.

We just added a new mattress so that should solve your 8/10 rating! So happy you enjoyed the cabin, but next time find time to go visit the farm, its only 2 miles away and is full of activities and animals!
Did not stay very long. Enjoyed hot tub. Door banging after going to bed turned out to be the door in the back of the house.

It is hard to get the value out of the cabin and the full farm when you stay so short - if you can’t arrive during daylight and need to depart in the AM, how can you take advantage of our ten years of sculpting our now 25 acre farm! If a door is banging, close it all the way.
Beautiful House, Location, Large Property and Animals
We visited the farm and had a blast on the multi-acre farm with lovely critters. The Gingerbread House was great and we loved our cows on the hill and 3 or so chipmunks in the front yard. Great views from every angle. ....We had a ton of fun here. This country boy felt right at home. The fire pit and hot tub were an added bonus.

So happy you were able to enjoy the hot tub and firepit and made friends with some of our resident chipmunks :)
Everything was amazing! The house was perfect for my friends annual girls trip. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub was our favorite. The farm was so much fun, we went twice to play with the baby goats. Communication was very good wirh the owner. She reponded quickly to my questions.

So happy you had a beautiful time and we’re able to visit the farm and baby goats twice! It’s only 2 miles away!!!
We arrived to find a beautifully decorated, super clean, warm, comfortable home with plenty of room to celebrate a peaceful Christmas Eve! We saw deer browsing in the snow on the hill behind the house. We enjoyed the sheltered hot tub even as a light snow was falling. Thank you!

White Christmases are the best! And we have been lucky enough the last few years!
The location was great for our travels to The Land of Oz at Beech Mountain. Boone was full for a ballgame and I was happy to find this lovely home. The house was super clean and quiet. The only issue we had and is just a suggestion, other places I have stayed have a Keurig or coffee machine and coffee supplies there. Nothing is close by so we all had to wait until Boone for our coffee stop that morning. Again that isn’t a big deal just a suggestion for future guests. It would have been a gorgeous porch to start the day on with a cup.
I imagine that when autumn colors arrive this is an exceptional place to stay as well.

One night stays are tough, it's hard to get a grasp on the farmlife - so we hope you will try us out again for a longer stay! Those Keurigs just don't seem to last, we do recommend guests bring their own if that is what they love, but we just have the basic coffee maker at all of our cabins :)
This place was absolutely amazing. We had 4 cows at the Gingerbread house that we could watch graze while we set in the hot tub. There was a lovely fire pit and wood for sale on the property. The house was so clean. We went to the farm 3 days and stayed for hours at a time. We rode the waterslide, played pickleball, spent a lot of time in the petting zoo, hiked, and relaxed in the many swings and benches throughout the property. Our girls rode inner tubes down the creek and I did the zip line which was so much fun. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it and go back. Connie, the host, was so nice. There are s’mores kits, fresh eggs, charcoal, and other miscellaneous items for sale in the shed when you come into the farm. We had a blast!

The cows can be quite an entertaining breed! So happy you enjoyed the farm so much!!
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, very clean, has comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed the animals and hated to leave. Looking forward to visiting again.
Great experience. My girls love the goats and bunnies!! Wish it didn’t rain most of our stay, but other than that it was great. The bunnies and goats barn could use a lil cleaning, but I understand it gets messy quick. The goats and bunnies appeared happy and pretty well taken care of❤️.
The property was just as described. Very clean, comfortable and charming home. The animals were a great addition - probably our favorite VRBO we've ever stayed in. Owner was very responsive to our questions.
The renting process was easy. And the stay was rejuvenating. It felt like Nana's house. The goats and cows were friendly and a memorable part of the stay.
This is a great property exactly as advertised. The granddaughters loved the rabbits, chickens, and goats...not to mention all the other wild animals. Property was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. About the only negative comment we would have is that we could not find a large fry pan? But the house is so well equipped we made due.
