Nice view from the huge front porch, away from the hectic city life, but access within minutes to the sites around the North Carolina High Country of Boone NC.

Place was as described. Very clean and easy check in process. 24min drive to the Appalachian Ski Mountain which made for very easy access for our 3 day ski trip. The hot tub was a nice relaxation spot after a long day of skiing. Definitely would stay here again.

Frances’ Cabin is the best!

Frances’Cabin is my favorite of all the BnB’s we have used over the years. It is beautifully done and very clean and well stocked and well run. It is easy to get to (in the mountains that is important!) and quiet. I definitely plan to stay there again.

Cozy Cabin with a Perfect Location

The whole experience from booking to check-out was wonderful. The host was responsive and kind. The cabin was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The location was phenomenal. A short 8 minute drive to downtown Boone allowed for quick access to many location, all would be nuzzled in a quite area off the main highway. The perfect place for a fabulous family getaway… we hope to come back soon!

Not only are our cabins managed by the owner, they are custom built by Chris who has been in the construction business for 37 years.

We are located only 6 minutes from town, with a grocery store only 1 mile away. Our cabins are in a peaceful farm type setting with peaceful surroundings. Access to our property in the winter months is great with no steep drives to deal with.
