Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. We got stuck in a storm and the hosts were able to work with us until the ferries were running again. The property is very very clean and comfortable, and walking distance to the beach and the bus station. If you’re considering this property, I recommend!

Our third stay! Owners are always welcoming and easy to reach. Cottage is immaculate, updated and thoughtfully stocked. Very comfortable beds and fantastic showers.Great location.. we will surely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Cláir’s cottage! They are extremely attentive hosts, with all the necessary amenities provided and excellent recommendations. The cottage is very clean and cozy. The perfect Nantucket getaway! Would definitely return!

This was my second stay at this adorable cottage, and I loved it even more than the first! It’s cozy, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located - peaceful, yet close to everything. The space is spotless, thoughtfully designed and stocked with ALL you need, and full of charm. Morning coffee outside, beach walks nearby, and quiet evenings by the fire pit made for an unforgettable stay! It truly feels like a home away from home. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

A truly wonderful stay with incredibly gracious hosts. No detail here is overlooked. Every time we thought of something we might need or want, voila, there it was. The property is gorgeous both inside and out, private, and well-located. A perfectly situated place for our family of 3. Nantucket is one of the few places we re-visit, and we’ve re-visited frequently. We’ve stayed at many other great places all over the island. This is our favorite, by far. Thank you!

Lovely cottage near Surfside

Michael and Clair's cottage was the perfect home away from home for our family while visiting Nantucket. They gave us excellent recommendations and their property was immaculate. The location right on the bike path was a huge bonus - easy bike ride to Surfside beach, Cisco Brewers, Bartlett's Farm, and the Discovery Playground to name a few. Our new “home away from home” on Nantucket! Photos on the listing do not do it justice; the house is perfectly clean, charmingly beautiful, and perfectly maintained. Could not be more perfect - hosts Michael and Claire are lovely and welcoming and have thought of everything you could need in a vacation rental (even stocked us up with firewood to use the fire pit!) and they live in a separate house nearby so they were accessible for any help we needed (recommended beaches based on the wind patterns, Michael helped us with a bike repair). We biked everywhere from the house and it was a very convenient, short bike ride to all of our destinations. We canceled our dinners out because we just wanted to enjoy the beauty of the house and outdoor dining under the stars (and you can hear the ocean waves)! The path to the house and the yard is filled with solar-powered outdoor lighting which made the yard feel magical and lit our path home after dark. Will absolutely be returning to this beautiful home with more family and would be perfect for children too.

Nantucket adventure

My friend and I spent 4 nights at this amazing property. The house was wonderful and provided every possible convenience. The décor was warm and welcoming. Clair & Michael were so welcoming and gracious to us. We found their recommendations about restaurants and places to visit, helped us to make the most out of our visit to Nantucket. Would give this property our highest praise!!

I never wanted to leave

We were extremely comfortable, as the hosts had anticipated our every need. I am already planning a trip back, as this cottage was an idyllic setting. The hosts were especially helpful, communicative and welcoming.

Excellent Stay in Beautiful Cottage

From start to finish, everything was perfect. The owners were fantastic—so friendly and responsive, and they made everything so simple. Communication was seamless, and they were always available if we needed anything. The property itself is wonderful; the cottage was well maintained and had everything we could possibly need. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Just as perfect as we remembered

This cottage is a true gem in Nantucket and we were thrilled to return this year. Clair had thoughtfully included everything we could possibly need during our stay, including toddler supplies. We can’t wait for our next trip.

The ideal ACK cottage!

Perfection is the word to describe this cottage. It’s a quintessential Nantucket cottage with all the charm, but also updated, extremely clean and comfortable. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay on my vacation. Michael and Clair are also the perfect hosts and have thought of everything a guest would ever need while visiting - the cottage has every household, beach, grill and kitchen amenity and that you need and more. I can’t wait to go back!

Five Stars Near Surfside

It’s hard to imagine how the hosts could have made this cottage more comfortable or more welcoming. It is beautifully appointed; the kitchen is well equipped; the outdoor area is warm and inviting; and the hosts have anticipated the guests’ every need. The hosts are next door, so readily available but respectful of privacy. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

My family LOVED this rental. Michael and Clair were wonderful hosts and the house was just lovely (the photos don't do it justice!). Everything was immaculately clean and well taken care of, both inside and out. All of the details were fantastic: the softest coziest blankets, a well stocked kitchen, eclectic book selection, beach chairs + towels provided, and fire pit and patio were amazing. You can hear the waves crashing! The house is right on the bike path, a major perk for us. My family had an amazing trip. We can't wait to come back! Thank you M + C!

Amazing property

Our stay at this beautiful cottage was everything we wanted. It was secluded, clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was amazing and stocked with everything you would need if you plan to cook. We loved the outdoor area and fire pit and took advantage of that after dinner to relax and enjoy each others company. And we all appreciated a good nights rest in the very comfortable bedding. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quality stay away from it all.
