Perfect for our stay!

This was our second trip to Duck, and our second in Sanderling and this property did not disappoint! Plenty of room for two families without being crowded, and close proximity to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place for family vacation!

Everything was very nice...clean, well stocked, spacious, great relaxing location. Owner was so nice, helpful and responsive to our needs. It was a wonderful location for our family vacation! Thank you for renting your beautiful home so that we could get the Duck experience!

Great Get away

The house is clean, well stocked and quite and only a short walk to the beach. Duck is a nice town, the beach is wonderful. We cannot wait to go back.

Fall Retreat

Our family stayed here and we had a wonderful experience. The house met all our expectations -- exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owner was great to work with and provided a great list of suggestions for things to see and do. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

We had a very relaxing stay with our adult children. Your home had everything needed to make it a home away from home! This was one of the cleanest homes we’ve stayed in…and we’ve been coming to OBX for 20 years. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our favorite home in Sanderling

Our family love this this house and are repeat renters. Short walk to the beach pond and sound. Also the kitchen is well equipped and makes cooking very easy. We can’t wait to go back !

A lot of potential guests do not realize the house is only 600 feet from the beach because it sits inside the canopy of the live oaks. We rent as well, and nothing is more disturbing than a kitchen with plastic glasses and four plates. We want our guests to feel welcome and at their beach house. Look forward to seeing you again.

OBX Duck House

The property was very well maintained with ample living space for multiple families. It was nestled between the trees with a spacious deck and a very, very quick walk to the private beach. And a ride to Duck shopping.

Perfect stay! Home was exactly as described with updates, very comfortable layout with space for everyone! We loved the shaded front porch and the short walk to the beach. Home was stocked with supplies both for the home and for the beach. Thank you for a great vacation!

A perfect beach house

My daughter summarized it well: “These owners really understand what people want in a beach house and deliver it beautifully.” The setting, the amenities, the rooms set-up, furniture, linens, even the neighbors were all wonderful, making even a somewhat rainy week at the beach great.

Glad the home exceeded your expectations! My wife Jane and I rent VRBO too and always shocked by homes that are not more than a hotel room in appearance and suppled. Jane gets all the credit for making Duck Fore Ever a home guests love to return to!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our week at Duck Forever. The house was very comfortable and cozy, with all of the necessary amenities. The kids loved staying and playing in the bunk room. We made fantastic dinners in the large kitchen. The house is just a quick walk to the beach - where we spent most of our time. Would recommend to others.

Glad the kids enjoyed the bunk room, no one ever talks about it. For some reason a lot of guests envision the beach being further than the short walk it really is. For us renting must have a working kitchen and enough room for all to dine. Happy to hear your group felt at home! Henry

Perfect family beach house

This beach house was fantastic! It was spacious, beautiful, and well-equipped, just as the description listed. We had an awesome week and especially loved the location and short walk to the private beach access. We will be back! Bachelorette trip

We had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful and spotless. Henry is extremely organized and very quick at responding to our questions. He provided us with an email that was filled with important information on check in and check out, restaurant information and places to visit. I would definitely visit Duck again and stay in this beautiful home.

A happy, modern home!!

Our family of four loved the house! There were so many well-lit spaces to read, relax and play. The house was immaculate on arrival and it is well-suited for larger families. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and most importantly not having to frantically search for a house key in the sand. Great place to stay while enjoying the beach and pool!

When designing the home for renovation we wanted areas for people to have private areas to be able to get away for reading, so thank you for noticing! Yes the outdoor shower and outdoor foot wash is a must at the beach, it the best way to cool down and to keep the sand outside. The push button lock on the ground door turned out to be a great choice, it amazes me how many guests don't want to deal with keys!! Regards, Henry & Jane

Excellent Experience

Went for our annual girl’s road trip, and couldn’t have been more impressed with the cleanliness, decor, and location. This beautiful house made us feel welcome and comfortable, and had all of the necessary attributes to make for a wonderful experience. Henry was accessible and responsive, and we look forward to our next visit to Duck Forever on our next visit to The Outer Banks.

Excellent

The house was in great shape, the rooms were very comfortable and big enough for all we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having great weather was a plus. Everything was in good working order and it was well stocked. The house was extremely clean. We would definitely go back again.

Large, comfortable home with great location!

Our family visited the Outer Banks for a family wedding. The home was in a very quiet neighborhood, and extremely easy beach access. The home was exactly as pictured … clean, spacious, enough room for us and our grown children and spouses! Would definitely recommend! My only suggestion is to add a Keurig.

The ‘Beach Girls’

ER Nurses with a very special bond. Our friendship has been celebrated with an annual trip to the Outer Banks. We felt very much at home in this beautiful cottage….we wanted for nothing. Wine, dinners, memories…..a very special trip….made even better with the hospitality of the owner.

Relaxing and Special!

Many thanks for an incredible stay in the OBX! The home was beautiful. It was perfect for three couples and our 12 month old. We had a relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed the beach -- in early May, we had pretty much the whole beach to ourselves. The neighborhood is gorgeous and perfect for walks or runs. We loved everything about the home and our time. We can't wait to be back again! Thank you!

Everything you could want.

Great home with everything you could need. Perfect bedrooms accommodated all our needs with room to spare. Close location to the beach and safe quite neighborhood. The only thing we could’ve asked for was that the temperature control could go lower. We are a very hot natured bunch and found it on the warm side.

Duck Fore Ever

We booked the home for a family trip that included 2 small children and 5 adults. The property was very much as described. Wonderful home very near the beach in a quiet area that really could make you forget just how close you were to the busier tourist area and all the amenities that go with it. The hosts were great! Provided an interesting history of the area along many tips on places to eat and things to do that truly helped us make the most of our stay.
