If you're looking for beautiful views of Lake Michigan, you will love staying in this 2700 square foot house with 120 feet of private beach new beach stairs installed. It's located about halfway between Grand Haven and Holland. There is a 2 car garage leading into the main floor where you will find the master bedroom with spectacular views with a king bed and full bathroom. Around the corner from the master is a second bedroom with a king bed and full bath. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a double oven and amazing views from nearly every angle. The great room leads to a 3 seasons porch and renovated deck. The bottom floor also boasts great views as well as a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with twin beds and a full bathroom. You will also find a pool table which can convert to a ping pong table. There is a second 3 seasons room which leads out to another renovated deck and fenced in back yard. 1 week minimum stay ( in peak season memorial day to labor day - May-September). New beach stairs to private beach.

SMOKE FREE PROPERTY - NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON PROPERTY - NOT INSIDER NOR OUTSIDE. SimpliSafe security system.

Currently, there is private beach with new beach stairs to access private beach from house. NEW BEACH STAIRS INSTALLED 5/2022. private beach stairs will access to private beach.
New rock revetment project completed to protect beach from further erosion & help stabilize dune.

please rinse off sandy feet and dry before entering houser using outdoor shower (NW house) or outdoor faucet. You may use brush to brush sand off feet.

please return any items moved in house, lawn or beach back to where you found them.
NO RV parking.
Driveway parking only, please do not park in street.

Please place recycling (loose recycling in tote) & trash totes at end of driveway curbside Monday night for Tuesday curbside pick up. See photo schedule. Trash pick up weekly & recycling every other week.

Please be aware that the cable, internet & cell services can be spotty & inconsistent - just relax - after all you are at the lake. 2 smart TVs. Bose dvd system downstairs.

Some paper products & sundries to start you out.

Weber LP grill available for your grilling needs.

Fire pit available for use In fenced side yard - you may need to pick up some firewood.

Please return all items moved to beach, decks, yard, 3 season rooms back to their original positions: kayak, SUP board, chairs, games, etc.
Please close all windows and doors, do not deadbolt front door. Set HVAC (kitchen, master bedroom, lower level) 3 thermostats: AC 75 or heat to 65.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
NO climbing on dunes. NO fires on beach. do NOT leave chairs on beach. do NOT leave children unattended in house nor beach NO lifeguards.

This was our second time @ the Burt lake house. It is very clean, spacious & comfortable. Tons of towels. Nice beach chairs & toys (no umbrellas). It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. A perfect beach getaway!

This was our second time at the lake house, and we want to come back again next year! The owners are very responsive and accommodating, the location is fantastic, the home is just perfect for a couple of families, and everything you need is right there.My favorite spot is the upper three-season porch: absolutely perfect for reading for hours while overlooking Lake Michigan and watching the boats pass by. The beach is private, quiet, and accessible by stairs. The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable. There are 3 HVAC zones in the house, which allowed all of us to be comfortable. Plenty of space for playing games, cooking, watching TV, or cozying up with a good book. Meijer is just over 10 minutes away if you need groceries or supplies.We love this place!

It was clear that the owners cared a great deal for the property, but also cared about the quality of vacation their renters had. Beautiful Home and Views!

The home is very well maintained and very well stocked. The owner was accommodating and communication was excellent. The only issue we had was that due to a recent power outage the ice maker had frozen up but the owner made us aware as soon and continued to follow up with us on getting someone there to fix it as soon as possible. It was a great, relaxing, family fun stay!

What a wonderful place! There was nothing at all to complain about, hands down best VRBO property we have ever booked. The beach was quiet as well as the neighborhood. The house was well stocked with everything you would need- garbage bags, paper towel, kitchen items for cooking in, etc. The view was spectacular and with the four porch we were able to enjoy during the rain. Owner was fast to respond to email and the check out was the best I have ever experienced. We booked already for next summer! Thanks again for helping us make some great family memories.

We're Glad We Came Back

This was our second October in a row at this welcoming home. We are three couples who get together for a long weekend to re-bond with one another and take in the fall color. This house has more than enough room for all of us, an extremely well equipped kitchen, and spectacular sunsets over Lake Michigan seen from the comfort of the back room. Next October? It will probably be a threepeat!

Beautiful Lake Michigan property

This is a great home perfectly situated on Lake Michigan for viewing beautiful sunsets. The house was well equipped and located. We enjoyed the nearby path for walking and bike riding as well as many local parks for hiking paths. Our only complaint was that the double ovens were very dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The owner was told about the ovens and said it would be corrected.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was spotless and fully stocked with everything you could need. There were plenty of towels (bath, beach, and washcloths), as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper products, and even paper plates. The kitchen had every cooking utensil imaginable, plus a gas grill for easy outdoor meals.For beach days, the owners really thought of everything—beach toys, chairs for the whole family, and even an umbrella. The private beach was large, peaceful, and had no obstacles in the water, making it perfect for swimming. The walk down is 50 stairs, but they are broken up with platforms, which made it very manageable.When it rained, we loved the indoor entertainment—pool table, ping pong, and even Pac-Man kept everyone busy.We had one day when the power went out, but the generator quickly kicked in and all was well! But the true highlight was the view. From the moment you walk into the mudroom and kitchen, you’re greeted with stunning views of Lake Michigan. The two three-season rooms and two decks gave us multiple spots to soak it all in, and the sunsets were unforgettable.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the home very much but we did not appreciate the multiple messages regarding the strict “no day visitor” rule. We were visiting family over a holiday so naturally we enjoyed a few day visitors. Also, the kitchen utensils were a bit lacking (eg, rusted out can opener). I would suggest adding hooks or bars for towels in the bathrooms. Other than that, everything was very nice.
